  1. Taken care of my teeth to a pretty good standard for the most of my life. I quite like them and my family like to compliment them a lot, so it's all good here. Strange thing happened though earlier in the year. For a few days I started getting my wisdom teeth in the back of my mouth which at times drove me insane but we actually fun to mess around with now and then :p Then suddenly they just disappeared and I haven't felt or seen them since :S Sometimes I get just plain lazy or can't be bothered so I don't brush them every now and then for like 2 or 3 days. Don't Judge Me! I thought this thread may have included this...
  2. Completely forgot about this one. Sorry that I don't find it annoying, but it's just plain epic!
  3. I've only ever been to one gig (I'm not counting Mickey Joe Hart if you know who that is, I also sneaked into the conert :p) and that was earlier this year, Lady Gaga. Despite the hate that she gets, I thought she was phenomenal and I'm greatly looking forward to seeing her again this October ^_^
  4. I heard that the Frosties Kid tried to kill himself after being bullied for that add :/ Anyway, so many crappy adds which aren't as much annoying as they are just bad. Those cleaning product adds drive me nuts, just over the simple fact that some business woman randomly enters your house out of nowhere yet the owner of the house is happy because their clothes are clean! What!? I remember a while ago, the one add that drove me crazy was that Jessica Simpson one for some face cream to help your skin. In the add, she talks like "Well, when I was young I had such bad skin and I got so embarrassed especially when I had to do a concert or sign auto-graphs...but now my life is perfect because I used ______ cream *big fake smile *" Argh!! The worst part was that it lasted for over 4 minutes long Enough with annoying adds though. One of the best things ever ... Oh and the amount of sexism against men in adds is shocking! EDIT: Whoops. Sorry Diageo, I think we both wrote our comments at the same time so I didn't see yours
  5. From what I can tell, there's a lot of artists and other people interested in art on this forum so naturally this makes this topic a nice fit then Yesterday, I was thinking about Art, I suppose in general, for the majority of my day. I began thinking about and researching some big artists in the past century such as Picasso, Andy Warhol etc. and more modern stuff people like Damien Hirst. Soon I got to thinking about the different art movements like Impressionism, Modernism, Expressionism, Surrealism...you get the drift. What I'm thinking is just how relevant and popular 'Art' was back then, if that makes sense. Nowadays, I'm struggling to see any noticeable movements in Art like before or even any 'house-hold name' famous artists. I'd like to know your opinions on whether there can be any more movements in art which are just as relevant as before or have we, as a culture, become immune from feeling strongly enough to be shocked for example when we see an Art piece just like how Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'avignon had such a strong reaction way back when. Even 'shock art' isn't as shocking nowadays, have we just come to the point now where we've run out of ideas or just that we've simply become accustomed to it. Is 'art' dieing?
  6. Yeah, I'm the same. I always feel really self-conscious that other people can hear what I'm listening to and are annoyed about it. So I just end up turning it down real low but enough to hear it. Due to the fact that I listen to stuff like Ella Fitzgerald on my i-pod is another reason why I don't particularly want other people to listen, and probably judge :p
  7. Yup, its the people who choose everything I think. That's probably one of the reasons why they just choose mainstream artists, to get more people to watch, vote and participate.
  8. That M.I.A. video, are you perhaps talking about the one where all the red-heads are taken away and although I haven't seen the entire video in full there is supposedly a lot of violence. Good points btw. I found myself agreeing with them. EDIT: oh, never mind. I only noticed the link after I posted
  9. ok Jav NE, you got me :P
  10. When I was in school I was walking along the corrider just as lunch was ending so all the teachers were kinda moving around the place trying to finish up in the bathroom etc. before classes. As I was moving my way towards the staff room where the bathroom is adjacent to, one of teachers ran out of the staff room with a devil's trident and shouted back to the teachers "Don't worry I'LL get them!" and ran away. The teachers in my school are bonkers
  11. Katy Perry will eventually destroy your soul. Then eat it.
  12. For a second there I thought every laugh was canned. Thank god there is also actual people watching and laughing in the audience. It's quite a coincidence, I was also going to mention Will & Grace and Friends which use it nice and effectively. One of my favorites if you remember is in Will & Grace where it's actually shot to show that it's live in front of an audience purposely. It's the one with Karen having some party and the other 3 aren't invited. I loved how the actors were struggling not to laugh, brilliant The laughing I just saw on Eastenders was dire! They bloody put a laugh after every sentance O.o However I loved the slight irony at about 1:14 where that blonde chick says "don't make me laugh" and all you hear is the canned laughter :p

Ah! I wouldn't want to interupt him :p Did he used to post on the forums before? I only ever see him commenting in the main page. I'm sure I heard he was banned a few times.
  14. Aw, don't be so miserable :P I can agree that it only awards the popular but I always find that it's worth a watch, however it probably won't be as controversial as last year. Despite not liking most of the acts up for awards, I always saw Gaga as actually quite good. Her acoustic songs and "rock 'n' roll" style songs are worth a listen as I'm not a huge fan of her more disco stuff.
  15. Seems like a solid cast for the new x-men. One question though, isn't the guy who plays beast the same fellow in skins? The last guy who plays Havok though kinda scares me! I think it's something to do with the fact that his head is the exact same width as his neck so he looks like a giant thumb or penis or something.
  16. I'm also the same, so it's nice to have other members make some threads and for it to actually get noticed
  17. So the nominations have been announced with regard to this years VMA awards. I think that this would be a nice thread to discuss it, and so I made it. Of course, I prdict that there will be a lot of hate in this thread as most of the artists up for awards are very mainstream *cough* Bieber *cough* but nonetheless feel free to discuss Oh, and because I'm a little biased I want to say the fantastic Gaga is up for 13 nominations which is the most ever. I know that a lot of the nominations are because of collabs with Beyoncé but I don't care :p Can't wait for preformances this year as last years were sorta Epic! Gaga and Beyoncé instantly come to mind Time to celebrate! EDIT: List of Nominations... BEST COLLABORATION B.o.B feat. Hayley Williams - “Airplanes” Beyonce feat. 18. A little unsure at the beginning however after the last week or two I have really grown to love the new forums. I think that one or two of the old threads could be opened again and wouldn't hurt the forum (THE SEXUALITY THREAD!!!) but aside from that nice shaking it up a bit

  20. I think I think a lot, if that makes any sense :p It really depends, sometimes my mind could be over-flowing with information, but that doesn't happen very often. Usually I'm thinking about just one thing and that becomes the center of my thoughts for usually quite a while, which eventually becomes obsessive. Other times I have nothing going on up there when a real good song is stuck in my head and it just knocks all intelligent thoughts out of my head :p
  21. Man...those are some creepy spiders
  22. Ah, I see! That makes much more sense then :P
  23. Wow, fantastic news! So glad that for one of the rare times, sense and reason actually won. It truly is a special day Hands up for the gays! :p
  24. Aren't you supposed to be gay? :p
  25. With some research I found out that there was another 'Phobia' thread but that was back in 2007 with not many posts so I think that it's safe enough to bring it back. If you like, you can tell everyone your fears however strange they are. I'm sure there could be a few funny stories. Also, if there is any story about how you scared someone or they scared you that is also welcome. I seen a few Comedy Rainbow videos where Rez scares, his girlfriend I think or just some girl, so that's why I think stories would be good. So feel free to discuss
