Another Code: R, Gateway of Memory ** MARK SPOILERS!**
not_so_tiny replied to Tellyn's topic in Nintendo Gaming
...because Another Code on the DS is an amazing (if short lived) game and is perfectly suited for the Wii. Heck, if this does well, a Hotel Dusk Wii game might be considered, you never know. -
Great news. It only a little while ago Micky Rourke said he didn't want to do Sin City 2. Linky - http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=51099 So a nice surprise. And Sam Rockwell is set to play Justin Hammer. Rockwell is so creepy looking. http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=51761

I couldn't agree more, it really is fantastic, putting a film noir/mystery story in a high school setting. It shouldn't work but it's fantastic.

I used to lurk a lot (that's sounds creepy), I did post a few times in the Smash Bros thread, but I seem to be posting a lot more frequently now. Some people spend their time at work on Facebook, I read the N-europe forums.

Haha, I was just about to post this. I'm glad Pegg and Frost got the roles as Thomson and Thomson, they really work brilliantly together being best friends and all that. I wonder who they will cast as Tintin since Thomas Sangster dropped out.

Running over the same patch of snow (or grass) will make it wear away and, as far as I am aware, when it snows it won't cover those areas again. It's wise to plan out some public footpaths in your town so it doesn't end up looking like a desert and eventually the snow/grass will come back.

Sainsbury's was having a clear out of it's stock and I managed to grab a few CD's I've been meaning to get for a while for a fiver each. Got the new Elbow, Funeral For A Friend and Foo Fighters albums and grabbed the Glasvegas debut album.

So I've finally read the Invincible Vol 1 - Family Matters last night and loved it. Some thoughts: I adore the concept and the story, I like how Mark knows his powers are coming so it gets straight into the action. The characters I've met so far are great. The art is really good, I love the line and inking work, however I did notice some images being reused which is a small pet hate of mine (I'd rather have the image redrawn again with every imperfection). The panel composition is pretty plain and not really exciting. Overall I'm really excited about reading Vol 2 because right now the story has me gripped.

Another cold morning at work. However I did hear some new 'slang' from two girls on the bus this morning, 'Goron'. Apparently some girl didn't know Matt was a 'Goron' but, like, Steph said he was a total 'Goron'. My conclusion, there's a large rock like creature, called Matt, normally found living around mountains, wondering around Bristol.

I got the Paperback Volume 1 as Forbidden Planet didn't have the HUGE Ultimate Collection in. I'm sure I'll grab Volume 2 by the end of the week as well. I've now got quite a few comics to get - Vol 3 and 4 of the Age of Apocalypse, Scott Pilgrim Vol 4 (and Vol 5 when it's out in Feb), I'm getting Buffy season 8 and Angel ATF every month along with the new Umbrella Academy and now I'll be getting Invincible whenever I can.

I can report a very light sprinkle of snow here in Bristol this morning, however it's (unsurprisingly) all melted away now.

Ergh...back to work after a relaxing week and a half break. It was nice at 6 this morning looking out at the sprinkle of snow, but now I'm in the office and tired and can't get back into the swing of things.

I prefer the second one, there's a lot more going on and feels more like they are at a party. There's more to look at eg. the mouse on the storks beak, the bear with a cup of tea, it seems more exciting than the first picture. Btw, I really really like your illustration style, it's really charming. I would like to see the final one. Will it be coloured? (Sorry for that, I did illustration at uni so I adore drawings and sketches etc)

And if you have one take a cuddly toy parrot. I remember one pirate party a few years back where I got so drunk I started giving beer (pouring it over his head) to my toy parrot I took and then thought it was absolutely hilarious to tell people he was drunk....sigh.
