It just clicked. I just played it again, and it worked. Everything worked. Other than uber tricks, which I made no attempt to do anyway, it was fantastic. I finally "get" the controls. Came first in a few races, half pipe event, and two score challenges. Fantastic game. As I progress, I'll have to judge that claim of SSX > Excite Truck...but I can see it happening.

Shame that you've been blocked out. Was nice to know what was coming in advance.

I can't even do the half pipe events - the tricks just seems to be a case of "press Z and B, swing the remote in some direction." I'm sure I'll get used to it though. I'm enjoying just carving along the slopes, anyway.

Does anybody elses Vision M get really scratched on the buttons? The screen seems fine and any marks simply wipe away, but the "shiny" cover over the buttons looks really bad and it doesnt wipe off. It doesnt make any difference though, other than not looking as sexy when looked at under a light

Well, I know alot of people here are having problems with Uber tricks. So am I. To someone who mastered them: where is the remote supposed to be pointing? Do I draw the motiono n the screen, move the remote in the motion while its pointing at it, hold the remote vertically and do it...? I just can't seem to even get the trick started, never mind land it, which is really frustrating. Also, do I have to draw the one on the bottom of hte screen, or can I do any of the ones I have unlocked at any time?

To someone who hasn't watched much Anime in the past, what would be a good series to start with? I'm hearing good things about Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, and a few others. What would the NEurope faithful recommend?

I'm the same as Flinky. In Zelda, I don't bother searching for Poes or heart pieces. If I come across them, I'll get them, but I don't go looking. With stuff like Excite Truck or Kororinpa though, I want to try and get everythnig unlocked. If doing the grind for 100% unlocks me something good, like the Diamond cup or Mirror mode, I'll do it.

Keeping myself away from this until I finish Sonic and Kororinpa...it's hard, but I've managed to keep it in the wrapper so far.

Releasing the hard drive after launch is actually a clever marketing ploy - the console seems to be cheaper, but then eventually most people will have to buy the HD anyway to store VC games. They can claim that it was originally just designed for game saves, morem oney for them from increased Wii sales without the HD, increased money from selling the HD seperately, morem oney for them.

I too hope that it turns out like the SD card - all are compatible, and theirs an official "Nintendo" one out there. If so, I'll get a big one and use it between computer and Wii. Also, can't you make a Vision:M act as an external? That would mean I have about 10gig left to dedicate to the Wii, without having to buy another. And it will charge at the same time! Oh the irony.
