Haven't bought my 360 yet, but I signed it anyway. That's a pretty horrible price. And peopel complain that the VC is overpriced!

For someone who's never particularly enjoyed GTA games, how is Crackdown? It's part of a ncie bundle at GameStation (http://www.gamestation.co.uk/discountaddall.asp?discountid=145%20) but I was thinking I could maybe sell it with the Halo 3 beta pass (since I'm not too bothered about it) on ebay and make a nice bit of money back. How much you reckon I would get for that, by the way?

Stuwii, I have the 2gb version and it works perfectly. Transfer times are slower than others, but if you can get over that, it's brilliant value.

So far, I've come up with this: Premium Console (probably a 2 game bundle for about £280, hopefully those two games are from the list below) Wireless Bridge - £55 Kameo - £25 Dead Rising - £20 Gears of War - £40 Guitar Hero - £60 Extra Controller - £20 Halo I'll leave until 3 comes out, and I was considering GRAW, but I can't find a review which properly tells me what it's all about. So thats about £450 for the lot. Sound about right? I think I'm gonig to have to scrap a bit more money just now, borrow from parents / convince them to get me some of the stuff as post-exam gifts :p

I think I'm going to finally get a 360. I've been planning for ages, and I've just decided, screw it. Instead of getting the mediocre and short Wii and DS games to fill time, get the great and epic games on the 360 too. I'll probably not even spend THAT much more money in the long run, since each game will last me alot longer. So. I was thinking; I need to get the Premium Pack. Looking at whats in the Core, it just seems pointless to get that one. Some questions though; I have a regular, 18inch or so TV. It has one scart input, one AV input. Can the component cables that come boxed with the Premium use either of these sockets, or will I also need to buy some AV cables? Is the 20gb hard drive enough? Is the headset that comes with the console good? What are the differences between Silver and Gold XBL? And finally, what games shall I get? I have Oblivion on PC and I'm not the biggest fan of FPS's on consoles, though I might get one or two. Edit: To add to the games part, which is more played/more enjoyable online; Halo or GOW? Edit 2: I just realised you get an ethernet cable with the game. Is that the only way to play online, does it not have wifi? If so, how long is the cable? Sorry to bombard you with questions, I'm just asking what I can't find with a quick google. Cheers : peace:

I think the biggest selling point for this was it would be the first flying game on Wii, with the delays it's lost that to Heatseeker and theres no way I would buy it over that.

What about one about the "real Heroes". Find someone who can take alot of pain, think they can see the future, or have a serial killing second personality.

When the Wii gets Guitar Hero, I will be able to die a happy man. That or I win the lottery or something so I can get the 360 version :p

Ah, I'm the same as you. I've put this game on the back burner for now, playing a bit or retro stuff at the moment, but I'll keep that in mind when I pick it up again.

My friend did that to me once. I blitzed him in the race, and then he did a load of spins and drifts he wouldn't normally do and won by 2 points.

I know several Japanese families (as there are a couple of big Japanese companies who have factories around here) and they are seriously the kindest people I know. I've always wanted to visit Japan, too. I can't give you any advice on where, though.

I never got Futurama. American Dad annoys me, though it has its funny moments. The Simpsons was once awesome, but now, its terrible. Family Guy is good, some boring episodes some amazing.

See sig/avatar. Maybe this is a Scottish teenager thing, but its the exact same for me. I hate it, it's always the neds too. We did not need to know this. On the subject of love, I haven't found it yet. I have a female friend who I'm starting to think of as more, and I think she feels the same, but I haven't made a move yet and we haven't talked about it. We really should.

Me and my friend absolutely love the multiplayer. It's so simple, no bots or anything, but that 1v1 thing kinda adds to it in a way - if you see a car in the distance you KNOW its them, and you use up all your boost to get there, smash into them, laugh manically as you race off into the distance. 30 seconds later, they are laughing manically and you're cursing or hitting them in the head.

Americans were expecting Paper Mario I think, with SPM coming out soon. I don't think it happened, though.
