I'm interested in becoming some kind of programmer, computer science course or something similar at univerisity. Right now, thats a few years away still (I'm 15) but I would like to get some sort of experience, something that I can do. Flash is the thing which I've seen which looks like fun - I'm sure we've all seen the stupid animations on ebaumsworld and whatever. But how tough is it to self teach? Would I manage it with a couple of online tutorials and a bit of hard work during the summer, and get to a competant level of making these basic stickman animations? Also, what sort of resources am I looking at getting to do this? Any specific programs for it that are better than others? Anybody know of any good guides? Infact, has anybody else tought themselves? Thanks guys. By the way, if the mods would prefer this in creative or tech help, go ahead and move it. I wasn't sure where to put it.

How quickly do lovefilm receive the games when you return them? I think I'm gona use this to get some nice games during my summer holiday, but I just wanna make sure of a date when I need to have sent the last one of by. And what is the date gonna be 90 days from now? ^__^

Speaking of Mario Kart being a more pick up and play game, I remember back in the N64 days when my Dad would play Mario Kart versus me and my sister. Only instead of holding the middle prong which it is blatantly obvious that your supposed to, he would hold his hand in a really awkward manner with his palm up near the L button and his thumb and index finger moving the analog stick. Meant he never could use his weapons.

If you want a guideline, my music collection which is mostly high-quality mp3s is 12.9gb, for around 2500 songs.

Am I the only one who liked Double Dash? And this thread got me thinking; Brawl needs the Blue Shell as an item, which when released hunts out and hits whichever player is in the lead.

Man, Tony Hawk. I played 4 and THUG so many times. Must have completed each at least 10 times. Might get the Xbox version, how does it compare to 4? I stopped getting them after THUG2, that game was just bad

Well, to be fair all my music is contained in one place so thats basically what I have been doing to update, unless I knew specifically it was only one subfolder updated etc. Will give it a try if the problem persists though, and will probably use it for audio convertion anyway, so thanks

As long as the Mario Kart they give us isn't completely rushed, I would be fine with that I guess. I still would prefer Brawl, and I don't like that the Americans will get a headstart on us in working out the intricacies of Brawl (online games need to come out as close as possible in all regions imo, to create a more even online play*). But I would suck it up and accept it. Alot of games coming out this winter, and MK will certainly not last as long as Brawl, so all the more time for other games first, right? (*Also, if the Mario Strikers is to be of any guide, that won't matter, actually)

Looking forward to this E3. Hoping for some new SMG and SSBB footage, and announcements of next years first party set. Especially hoping for Pikmin 3, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Kid Icarus, Luigi's Mansion, F-Zero, Wave Race, Starfox...damn. They won't all come next year will they? :p Maybe the first 4 even would be too much to hope for at this E3.

Anythnig else plugged into the USB ports that weren't there when the HDD was originally plugged in? If so, take them out first, perhaps. I'm having a problem with the sync manager software that coems with my Zen. Whenever I try to start a sync, while it is searching for files I get the old "illegal operation" popup, and the sync manager closes. I've got about 2,500 songs, which could be something to do with it. I also recently got an external hard drive, which is were all my music is now stored. However, the issue happened before the external was used. Before the external, it was all dumped into one large folder of around 2000 songs, which is where I originally thought the problem came from. I then organised them into sub folders by artist, and that seemed to fix the problem, until I got the external, when it resurfaced. Kinda long winded explanation, but any ideas what to do?

Wow. Blatant short fueling of Hamilton for the hypetrain pole position. ITV mentioning him in every sentence. Drip feeding all the rules for the bandwagon jumpers. The coverage was cringeworthy. As great a driver as Hamilton is, I'm glad he didn't win today, and hope he doesn't win the championship this year, because we will never hear the end of it. Kinda like how us Scots don't want England to win the world cup, actually.

Kinda funny, the mens final is 1vs2, while the womens is 18vs23.

I was always a Nightmare or Maxi player. Nightware was the best for matches against AI, just for brute strength. Maxi was more slippery, so I used him in multiplayer.

In terms of other console purchases? Hmm... Assassins Creed Halo 3 New Pro Evo GTA IV None of the others are must buys for me yet, but I'll probably end up picking up the likes of Bioshock, Alan Wake, Blue Dragon anyway. Only got the 360 recently and havent seen enough of these games to excite me.

I expect it to be mediocre to good; solid 8.0 ratings everywhere, but rejected by old fans.

I'm worried about the space for a drum kit. I Play my games sitting on my bed, looking at a TV not 1 metre from me, with no floor space between. Will probably just get the guitar version.

DiRT gets talked up so much, I think once I'm done with Resi Evil I might pick it up.
