Some games benefit from the Wiimote: See FPS games, sports games, etc. Some games are best suited to a "normal" controller. You don't develop on a control input for 20 years and have it made useless in every way.

Keeping myself away from buying a used copy of the GC version of this game (I missed so many good games last gen, got so much into PC gaming :p). Can't wait for this.

Hamilton is undoubtably a future world champion: something big would have to happen to stop that. I doubt it will be this year, but he certainly has what it takes.

I like my friends ex, but I don't know if anything can happen because of it...not to mention, I've been with her best friend in the past too. Excite Truck is an awesome game, my favourite on the Wii. And the SSX controls are absolutely perfect once you get used to them 2-3 hours into the game.

Having played the first training level of Shadowrun, I'm relaly intrigued by the whole magic thing. Teleport especially seems a really nice idea, adds more levels of strategy to the game. Not sure about enhanced vision, and glide seems kinda meh (why not just give an extended jump, Crackdown style?) but Teleport is an awesome idea.

I know it was free, but I was just using the game as an example of something which wasn't brilliantly made but still good fun :p Also thats why I suggested the option of the extras. Take the example of Tennis, when your playing your Auntie play the simple method, but when your playing your mates get the harder controls on :p

Well, it is a tech demo. Tennis, how much better would it be with an additional Nunchuk control scheme? Moving the character for yourself and all that. I remember I had Jimmy Connors Tennis on the SNES: that gave you the option of easy controls (positioned by the game) or full controls. Boxing, the recognition for hooks and uppercuts was really poor. Golf, lets be honest could have been so much better. More solid controls, variety in courses, etc. Baseball could have done with a bit more control of fielders. Bowling, I don't see where it could be improved I'll be honest :p

All the cool kids are ambidexterous I'm naturally right handed, when I broke my wrist a few years back I learned to write lefty. When playing stuff like Tennis, Badminton I can comfortably play either way. When doing something like Cricket, Baseball I bowl right and bat left. When doing ten pin bowling I play lefty.

Excite Truck is my favourite game on the Wii. I have ET, Sports, Play, Zelda, SSX, Sonic, Kororinpa, Wario Ware and Eledees. Sure it's not as well made as Zelda or SSX, but I still find it more fun. Same way Wii Sports is made really poorly but is still bags of awesome. Back on topic though, I really can't wait for this game Summer of gore on the Wii, with Manhunt 2 aswell

I wouldnt worry about Pokemon stadium being basic. It will almost certainly shift like in Melee.

The HDD is bound to happen. Even if they weren't planning for it, the amount of speculation, hype etc for it, it wouldn't make business sense not to.

I never got into MP. Bought it second hand for a tenner, played it for like half an hour and gave up on it. I hated the GC pad for first person games, and it just killed it. Once I got to the point of having to escape in xx amount of time, I stopped playing and haven't gone back to it since. Pinning my hopes on the Wiimote controls for the new one.

Classic controller? Anyway, I don't think thats the reason it isn't on the Wii. Games like SC4 (which will never be seen on the Wii) are the reason I got my Xbox :p

Right, so by that logic: Excite Truck is crap. (I like Excite Truck) I'm not human? I understand your reasoning behind the logic you used in the music thread; Just because I like listening to my nephew playing on my guitar doesnt mean he's good (extreme example, if you get what I mean). But then in this thread you are saying that you like Metroid Prime more than Zelda, therefore, Metroid must be better, because if not then your not human? Or something? Do you see the inconsistancy?
