If your genuinely going to complain about Sonic not being realistic in this game then wow. If it wasn't you would moan because you couldn't win the 100m without choosing him, or you couldn't win any of the throwing events without choosing bowser. It's like saying Kirby shouldn't be able to use his swallow attack on anyone other than Pichu in SSBM because they wouldn't fit in his mouth.

Nope, its all very useful How noticeable is the difference, though? I mean I played the Wii on my mates 40" HDTV and I never really noticed anything, though in fairness I wasn't particularly looking for anything. Would it be a good idea to buy in store rather than online and ask to see both a HD and an SD source on the set before buying? Edit; Oh, and I was also thinking that I would be getting around 26" rather than 32", as I feel 32 would be overkill for my setup. Would that affect anything your saying?

I think it was partly for Hamilton provoking Alonso by disregarding a team order in Q3. But a good comfortable win for Hamilton today. Not sure what happened to Massa this weekend, it just never happened :s

I'd rather lie on my bed playing with a game pad than on my spinning chair at my desk. Even though mouse and keyboard is undoubtably a better control system, I feel much more immersed in my dark bedroom playing than in my well lit, middle-of-the-house dining room :p Not to mention my PC would probably lag like hell, and I don't have Vista, which I'm betting is part of the spec for all these new MS "Games for Windows" games.

At the end of the day the biggest reason for this being banned is the BBFC having no confidence or belief in their rating system, so it should be them paying Rockstars costs to "fix" the game for release. It isn't R*'s fault that the BBFC can't govern their field properly.

Perhaps then I would be best buying myself a large CRT screen, which I can then use for the Wii and 360, and then have the 14" with my freeview box. Or just leave it completely for now. >_> Would the Wii still look really bad on an LCD if it was plugged in with a scart and set to 480p?

Kinda hypocritical of Alonso, the thing he made of Schumacher when he parked the car on the last corner of *a track I can't remember*, he does basically the same thing only worse to Hamilton. I'm hardly Hamiltons number one fan, but I'm even less a fan of Alonso, so I hope Hamilton owns Alonso tomorrow. And wtf was with Massa's car? There was something really wrong there, I didn't get it at all. Oh and Honda should just use the Super Aguri car, it's their car from last year and it's far superior to their current car.

I took mine off when I started using it for NES VC games. It felt strange when it was on, irritated my hand.

I never even use mine these days. Most games it is completely unnecessary, with the exception perhaps of Wii Sports, in which case I put it on only if I remember / can find it.

I'd be using it for Wii, Freeview TV, and 360. I have a 14" CRT currently which I was considering keeping next to the new one so I could watch a Football match or something while playing a console. I'd probably still put the Wii on the new one, however. It won't be used as a PC monitor, since my PC is in a completely different room and I don't intend on moving it. And I have no plans currently to buy a PS3, but I'm not gonna rule it out.

I can't remember why but I seem to remember there was supposed to be a PS3 sales hike this week, and I must admit I was expecting it to be more than this...at least above the PSP.

Didn't plan on buying it since the demo anyway, and the reviews for both Bioshock and this have convinced me.

Lets just hope that Brawl event rumour is true.

I think BluRay will win out of the two, but whether or not BluRay will beat digital distribution is another matter.

I hope this new Adventure mode won't kick out classic and event modes.

I doubt Resi5 will appear for the Wii, but remakes of early games with Wii controls seems an almost certainty to follow UC.

Is there any info on if you can buy the game seperate from the guitar? If so I would probably buy the 360 version of this and use the GH2 guitar, aswell as RockBand. I realise this is the Wi Forum but it's the GH thread :p

I'm in the same boat. I don't get how if they were both sent out at the same time, the posties have managed to be 4 days late (and that's assuming it arrives tomorrow) even with these strikes.

I couldn't get to sleep last night for no apparent reason, and eventually managed to drift off around 5.30. Does that mean that you were in today while I was still in yesterday?
