Mafia Game #4 Thread - DIY Christmas Killing Spree
Gizmo replied to chairdriver's topic in General Chit Chat
A necrophiliac? Do you get information on how people die or something? I don't see how that would be a "useful" power. Also, surely there would be mention of a necrophiliac in the write up? -

Like a few others I'm getting really confused. Since I'm going to bed now, I'm going to Vote: No Lynch. If I feel the need I can change it in the morning, but for now I feel it unfair to kill anybody without letting them speak. -

Thinking about it, it wouldn't help anyway as generally the CSI's only give info on the killer. I was thinking originally we might get a link to the mysterious killer. I think we can disregard my theory; back to square one. -

Nada. The only link I can see to him is possibly through Jayseven, which is why I suggested it. Might get some info off a CSI on him. Infact, can you even do CSI's on the guy who gets lynched during the day? If not then my theory is useless -

Yeah, but my line of thinking is that; he can kill anybody who targets the same person he does. Therefore, if he targets someone with the intention of "protecting" them from a badguy, he would end up killing anybody else who protects them. I would say he is at least neutral. -

Ok, I have a theory here - a little abstract and speculative, so it might be rubbish, but I want opinions on this: Ok. The man with the stake who can kill anybody. Is he good or bad? I can't decide. On one hand, he killed two bad guys last night. But, he was misdirected from what I understand, by this flying boy, so on the other hand, someone with that kind of power can't be a good guy, surely. It would go wrong too easily. It may have been a huge misfire on the mafia's part. So he's probably evil, maybe neutral, and dangerous. And, since there is a player protecting him, then that player must be on his side. If Welsh_Gamer thinks that Jayseven could be this protector, surely he should be killed? Otherwise, he will continually protect the killer, and he will wreak havoc. Also, getting the CSI's from Jaysevens death may help identify this killer. Also, if this is a group of people, its entirely possible that they are the mafia. Unlikely maybe, but from my experience of the last game (my first mafia game) there were no "neutral" groups, were there? Sorry if I described that really badly. -

I'm trying to be careful not to use Chair's words to closely since your not supposed to copy paste. Basically (this is how I understand the info I was given), whoever killed Tellyn (lets call him Jimmy for clarity) Jimmy has the ability to kill anybody who targets the same person as Jimmy did. Does that make sense? -

I CSI'd Tellyn, and was told: Tellyn was Sylar Tellyn tried to kill Cube Whoever killed Tellyn has the ability to kill anybody who targets the person that they target. -
My friends broke yesterday too. Conspiracy!

You get plenty enough time for those. Just go it really slow at each corner.

I consider the Mario universe characters to be those appearing in the likes of Mario Party, Mario Kart, Mario Tennis. So DK, Wario etc. But not Link, Samus etc.

Yeah but you didn't have to hunt down every last one.

I'm pretty sure Ashmat wasn't the only one to say the name... I searched the thread, and Tellyn, Ashmat, Moogle and Dyson all said it, and Haggis quoted it. -

How do we know we can trust Gaggle? -
Some can't be copied because they arent suitable to be copied. For example, Animal Crossing on the GC couldn't be copied from one memory card to the other. And I've taken several game saves to a friends house on an SD card in the past, and all worked fine.

I'm prety sure you didn't get a Jiggy for getting 100 notes on BK? Just an extra life as I remember it.

Cruis'n Exclusive! (Best graphics on Wii!!) :p
Gizmo replied to Retro_Link's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Hahaha I love the way they do the girls on Cruis'N Wii. But yeah, on the N64 it wasn't exactly the best looking game on the console, and the Wii version is barely better. Slow hand clap for the dev's here I think. -
Fixed Phantom Hourglass will be forever soured in my eyes due to that TotOK. It just became too boring and I gave up on it.

Wow. We got beat by ****ing Inverness. Now Rangers have two games in hand against the two worst teams in the league, and are only 2 points behind us.

Apparently there is some countdown on some website which ends roughly when the Brawl website gets updated. Apparently tomorrow is MegaMans 20th birthday. People are putting these two things together to come to the conclusion that tomorrow MegaMan will be revealed.

One of my earliest memories is going on a family cycle to the local resevoir. I think I was about 4 or 5. Was going down this majorly steep hill, and I was scared because I was going really fast. When I tried to slow down my brakes didnt work In the 3 seconds immediately after this realisation, this zoomed through my head (I was 4 at the time remember): "Ok, I have three options. One, continue going down the hill and go straight in the resevoir, and get all wet and stuff, and probably lose my bike. Two, plough off to the side and into the nettles. Three, hit something to stop me. Oh look, a lamppost. Perfect" Now being young I didn't understand the concept of momentum. I assumed that when I crashed into the Lamppost going down this steep hill I would stop perfectly. Instead, the front stopped, bucking up the back and sending me head first into the damn thing. Had more bruises on my legs than I could count at that age.

I know someone who had that happen; it's really horrible. You are so limited in what you can do. Hope you get better fast.

I haven't played R6:V co-op, no. But the feature was there; therefore, Halo 3 did not innovate with it. They merely improved something that already existed. What is wrong with point 2? Forge is one of the most limited map editors I have used: with something like Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 (it might have even been in 3, in fact I think it was), you are able to put any object from any location in the game onto your map. I understand that the Halo3 theatre is a new concept on console FPS; and I understand how it is much bigger than the replays of goals in Pro Evo. Still; this kind of feature has existed before - it is more a refinement of an existing idea than an innovation. The Wiimote is an innovation - the Wavebird was a refinement of the N64 pad. The social element, such as sharing replays and playing Forge maps online is relatively new also; but it is not the only game where replays can be shared, and it is not the first game where custom maps can be played. And I did quite like Halo 3. Maybe not as much as some people did on here, but I did like it. I just don't believe it is more innovative, in terms of creating something new in gaming, than Portal. Sorry if this still isn't "in depth" enough, I often have a hard time conveying ideas in text form.
