They aren't doing any colliding until October. For now, they are just putting one beam round, so there isn't any danger. The black hole creation won't occur until they put two round together, which is scheduled for October 21st.

Well today was pointless. Was at job "induction" today which lasted from 9-7. And in the end it turns out I didn't need to go as I'm only part time. FFS. Least I'm getting paid for those hours.

Is it possible to use hybrid controls on PC games? Like, plug in a controller and use the left stick for movement, but the mouse for aiming. That would be awesome.

I like the sound of "six free original Xbox games", "a new Conker game" and "Mass Effect 2". Not sure about "modest monthly fee", or "iTunes on your Xbox".

Ah, thats ace. It was ridiculous really; the name FEAR was all that Warner Bros owned. Monolith were making FEAR2 in everything but name, so this deal really makes sense for both parties.

The Gorilla was awesome the first time, and annoying from then on. The cars thing was never good, and just seemed too forced. Redoing the exact same thing with different music is just incredibly lazy / dull / annoying. It's not exactly like people are gonna start buying Cadbury's on the back of these adverts, or remember the brand due to them, or anything. It's just boring.

Today was both good and bad. Good because I "forgot" to do an essay which was due for today (i.e. went to do it last night, couldn't be arsed, just left it) but the teacher was off, so I got away with it. Also, I'm not going in tomorrow, so I get until Wednesday to finish it. Good stuff. Also good because Scrubs is finally back on E4, instead of the shit that is Big Brother. I refuse to believe that they get higher viewing figures for Big Brother Live than Scrubs. Bad because sometimes people just suck.

I did, but there were two nests so close together I always got the attention of one of them when taking that line. So I tried going round the back, and got hit by another 2 :p Got there eventually, was all good

That would piss me off. Problem is, because the nest has moved, you can't edit wing's on, because you can't get to the nest to enter the editor! It happened to me on a smaller scale; I accidentally exited the editor without putting feet on, and then the bastards decided to move nest, leaving me trying to wander across the island past about 4 enemy tribes with no feet! Ended up having to hug the coast and take the loooong way round.

I posted this in the HWYD thread; As I understand it the rule is that if a driver gains an advcantage from cutting a chicane, he must yield the place back and maintain that yield until the next corner. Hamilton only gave the place back on the straight, using the extra speed from the corner to slipstream straight back past. The rule to yield until the next corner is in place to prevent people doing like that. As far as I can tell the decision is entirely fair.

Sorry, but I would not call stuff like Umbrella Chronicles, Boom Blox, NHL, Sim City, Skate It, Shaun White AAA. Half of those are multiplatform, you wouldn't call them AAA on PS3 or 360, why would you on Wii? Also, tbh I would barely call stuff like the Conduit AAA, but that's a slightly less ridiculous statement compared to the rest so I'll leave it out. AAA has been so diluted, it's supposed to represent the top tier of games. Those simply aren't on it. Awaits being called biased against Wii / 360 fanboy / Sony fanboy / troll / miscellaneus ignorant insults.

Hahaha. Was flicking through the channels just now and there was the build up to the Soccer Aid game. They were interviewing Kenny Dalgleish and the guy said "It's starting to rain now, we'll get you a brolly" to which Kenny replied "I might get the sack after that" :p

I don't know enough about the actual policies of the two candidates to make an informed decision on voting. But I do know this; I'd never vote for anything that gave someone like Sarah Palin the chance of getting any power. 1. The whole pro-life, anti-hunting thing is hilariously dumb. 2. Never give an extreme Christian get any kind of authority 3. She was nominated only because of being young and female. McCain wanted the Hilary voters and the people concerned about his age. She wasn't the best person for the job. It's too much about politics, not enough about the best way to lead the country, which is bullshit.
