  1. Sweet, been waiting for this to arrive on PS platforms More info (like the December 13th release date) here
  2. I still stand by it Looks awesome!
  3. The Gardens Between Gameplay falls flat very quickly because there's basically only one gimmick. That makes the puzzles very straightforward and eventually boring. Even for a game as short as this (took me about 90 minutes to get the Platinum) that's not good. Has a cute little story, though. Yeah, wouldn't recommend a purchase, but if you got the chance to play it via a sub it's worth a try. @darksnowman, there you go
  4. CHORVS A space shooter that starts slow, picks up the pace quickly (and is incredibly awesome then), drags on a bit and ends with one of the worst boss fights in history of everything. It took me 35 minutes to beat it. And I didn't even die. It's an HP sponge like I've rarely seen...unbelievably tedious. The gameplay is great overall (the dogfights are so much fun), the story is boring and might as well not exist, it looks pretty and has some sweet sound effects. That final boss takes away a few points, though. I HATED IT! Still: A cool addition to PS+ which has been delivering non-stop this year
  5. Noooooo, this probably means the next MHW is faaaaaaaar away
  6. Leaks have arrived. 99.9% chance that it's the real deal given the leaker's track record. Looks like PS+ is ending 2022 with a bang
  7. Excuse me? I think you meant: Stomp a turty!
  8. No, I just don't want you to experience hate It's all a matter of what you want...do you want to try out some new weapons and/or go for full completion (trophy/achievement)? If so, don't use them for souls. Do you want to quickly gain a few souls that you will eventually get anyways via regular play and therefore waste the boss items and be hated by all? Go ahead. No judgement.
  9. Never ever in a souls game use boss rewards to gain runes. It's not worth it and everyone will hate you. Not in the game, but in real life.
  10. No need. I don't think I've crafted a single item during my 95 hour long playthrough (aside from gear, of course)
  11. Wanted to spend this Saturday morning mopping up some trophies and here I am mopping up tears from the ground. Be ready for a rollercoster of emotions during this game
  12. My mom insisted to give me money for my upcoming birthday. I told her that she doesn't need to, but mothers are relentless Soooooo, I ordered: My old beard trimmer (by Remington) died after 15 years of use on my gloriously unimpressive beard, so it's time for a new one.
  13. That is a very good question. I think if you put a gun to my head and said: "choose one or you'll die" I'd personally invite death to my home In all seriousness, probably Elden Ring because it's a generation defining game. It revolutionizes open world games. Just checked a video and: no locked 60fps but mostly a smooth experience in performance mode. Asked a friend, too, and he said it's fine on PS4 Pro. Also: the console will heat the room while playing, so no need to use any gas. Might want to increase the TV's (or headphone's) volume to drown out the noise of a military jet taking off.
  14. Finished the story just now. I could tell you that the game looks gorgeous, the sound and OST are awesome, the gameplay is impeccable, yadayada. But there's only one thing I should say: I, a person who grew up playing video games and absolutely loves them, sees GoW: Ragnarök as a prime example of what a video game can achieve. Just like the reboot, it is clear from the very first second that this is a labour of love. The devs, actors and everyone involved have outdone themselves yet again and it shows. The many instances when I couldn't put own the controller, when I was just blown away by the spectacle...The amount of times I got goosebumps, tears in my eyes...I'm still in awe of everything I've experienced with this game. There's no higher praise I can give, I think. An absolute masterpiece. 2022 gave us Elden Ring and God of War: Ragnarök and with these two titles alone this year is going down as one of the greatest for me. Gonna let myself breathe for a moment and then get to a good old fashioned trophy hunt.
  15. Pretty much a concise review of the game I think that's for the better. The Gaming Diary thread is ok for the low user count, but I'd still prefer separate threads for regular impressions/updates. Gonna do this from now on, too.
  16. I think he'll tell you to be less judgmental and let people spend their well-earned money how they want and their time playing a game twice.
  17. Gonna late my mate know.
  18. Guess it'll be time to start this in December, play it for 30 hours and then drop it again. For the third time
  19. Sounds like you don't like him
  20. Not watching the games, but there's no avoiding the news. I was quite surprised to see Argentina has lost
  21. Better late than never. Hope it'll actually have an impact. Retroactively, too, but I doubt that's going to happen. Not sure if it's possible without any legal ramifications.
  22. I see, I see. So it's cool and strong? Like me? HE'S ON THE TEAM, BABY! You know what really grinds my gears? When you're fighting a boss trainer and that mofo keeps interrupting the battle with text...SHUT UP! Edit: That's it for this weekend thanks to socializing in the real world. Hope the performance isn't that bad when I'm drunk later tonight. Gonna repeat what I said before: It's an absolute disaster regarding performance, graphics, etc. The game itself is pretty fun. This is close to what I wanted from Pokémon for a long time now. There's still some tedious stuff and the game (especially battles) is pretty slow, but other than that I'm enjoying it.
  23. Yikes, that does sound tedious... Gyarados has been replaced by Gible. Never heard of it before but it looks like it could evolve into a cool looking mon, and we all know that's what it's all about
