This has been the case with PC gaming since...well...the beginning of PC gaming. And exactly this is what the majority of gamers/gaming journalists/analists wanted. Fuck motion control, fuck revolutionizing ideas. Give us more power and more quality games. Sony (and Nintendo - in their own way) has given us this (the power, not the games...). Microsoft will give us the same (maybe with Kincet but whatever). The only thing that's missing is new IPs (maybe even older IPs like Crash Bandicoot, Banjo Kazooie, finally a fucking good HD Zelda or Mario, Metroid...). For consoles and for PC. In that regard every developer has to improve.

I love how everyone is bashing the PS4 one day after its announcement, months before E3 and even more months before its release. What did people expect? The cure for cancer? It's a console. Targeted at people who like consoles. Yes, PCs can do more, yes the WiiU has a controller that provides streaming from the console without a 200€ device and yes porn should've been a major aspect in the press conference. Nobody cares. Graphics are incredible for a console. And if the PS3 is anything to go by, its successor will have an amazing game catalogue to offer one or two years after its launch. I'm pretty Sure Sony and third parties will be able to show a lot at E3. And I cannot understand how people aren't blown away by this, because if this is an indication of the next console generation then I'll be happy to see what Microsoft has to offer, seeing as the rumored specs for Sony's and their console are quite simmilar. Gamers should take their heads out of their asses, get off the stupid 'fanboy-ship' and just enjoy how technology improves over the years.

Three of the five people who wanted to go to a bar tonight are sick, so everything was cancelled. Hopefully we'll get it done next week. But that means I can watch the Sony conference later. And even more important: I had a great time today. Met the girl I was talking about in my last post in this thread. We walked her dog, watched a movie and talked a lot. And I listened, I took interest in everything she said. Haven't done that with anyone in at least two years. It feels good. Getting to know about her life, about what she did, what she does, what she wants to do. Should help me in future conversations. Should help me with changing/fixing who I am.

They are good, but not as good as they think they are. And their behaviour on the pitch just reeks of arrogance. It annoys me. :p Don't think it was tactics. Bayern couldn't really get an attack going. Mandzukic had one good scene, and it lead to the 1-3. Ribery was awful, Müller didn't do anything special, Kroos only scored a goal, didn't do much else, Schweinsteiger didn't play as well as we're used to. Bayern had to defend because they couldn't get to Arsenal's goal.

Didn't Arsenal pretty much dominate the game after the 1-2? Bayern just defended, and later they had one good attack which resulted in a lucky goal. Maybe I'm just mad because everyone in the team thinks he's the best in the whole wide world. This arrogance pisses me off.

All that's true But they conceded a shot on goal in the last game. Bayern is pretty much unbeatable in the Bundesliga right now but they sometimes struggle in important games. That's what I'm a bit worried when it comes to the match against Arsenal later. I hope they play to their full potential tonight, though :p

At Amazon.de you can get a PSVita (WiFi) + Little Big Planet for 200€ and a 3DS XL without a game for 180€. Don't know why the Vita is/was getting hate for the 'high' price. I've payed 280€ (I think) for a Vita + Lumines, pretty much at the release. Edit: This bundle included a 4 GB memory card. Haven't regretted it, and with the prospect of more games coming, more sales and in turn developers getting interested in making games, the PSVita is becoming the best handheld I've ever had. Now all we need is a price cut for memory cards.

I need Soul Sacrifice, PSO2 (never played one of the series) and FFX. The price drop is sweet. We might see one being announced for US/EU on Wednesday.

Because my backlog doesn't already consist of a mere one billion games.
