Different strokes, I guess Indeed. And for me it's too much unlike past Zelda games. Nintendo did a good job creating something new, even though I don't like a lot of what they incorporated into the game, but it would've benefited from being a new IP. For me at least. Or, as mentioned many times, flesh out the lore and story. Zelda has sooooo much potential in regards to its history (in-game history).

I stand by what I said months ago: If this wasn't a Zelda game I would've probably enjoyed it more. It would've needed lot more lore and plot progression, but even if it only was a new IP it would've been more enjoyable to me. Certain aspects of the game should be ditched, as well, but I won't go into it again. Thing is: I expected a Zelda game, because...well, it's called The Legend of Zelda And it didn't feel like one.

So, Kangaskhan (normally an Australasia-exclusive Pokémon) can be caught in some cities in Europe for some time. Lucky for me my hometown is part of the event Been walking through town this morning and caught a lot. Also managed to finally catch Unowns, seems like they're spawnrate has been increased during the event. Have 6 different Unowns now Edit: Looks like it's just the Unowns that spell "Europe". Still haven't done a Legendary raid. Can't seem to find enough people when one's available. Might look for some groups in the town where I live. I think there are many who use Discord to set up meetings.

Yeah, Nintendo didn't strike a good balance between freedom in gameplay and linear narrative. It would've been easy to achieve, in my opinion. Quests that progress the plot or give a much deeper understanding of Hyrule's history, characters, etc. These could've been optional, as well, so they don't interfere with the exploration aspect.

They should use the engine to create a Pokémon game.

I'd be happy if my friends would be up for anything that doesn't involve lazily lying around watching movies... Will probably drink tonight and go to a club. I'm in the mood for dancing and I don't mind going alone.

Have to rant about my best mate's girlfriend again... I've been spending a little more time with my best mate in recent weeks because he's going abroad soon. Since he lives in a part of town where busses only drive until 10pm I've spent the night at his place every time I was there. One morning he told me: "My girlfriend just asked me again whether it's really you who spends the night and not some other woman. Funny, isn't it?" And he laughed. ... I said that it's not funny at all. It's sad because it shows that there's not an inch of trust on her side. "Nah, it's fine." IT IS NOT. I can't believe this...how does he not see it? Can you really be that blind to the issue? When my first girlfriend asked me whether I was really going to a poker night and not to another woman....I asked her if she was serious, she said yes and I broke up with her. I know, everybody's different, but...I just don't understand it. This issue comes up literally every other day...for almost 2 years it's been like this

Jesus Christ, that's bad. Even on a non competitive level that's horrible. I've experienced the issue in Infinite Warfare...it sucks. And we'll have to pay a monthly fee for this? Nintendo better step up their game.

Well, I'd like to learn everything eventually Reading music, time signatures and music notations would be great to learn at first. Edit: Currently practicing the D, A and E chords on my acoustic guitar. I did that years ago and I'm surprised at how much stuck until now. Getting more and more comfortable with switching between chords. I do, however, need a little more practice to improve my speed and precision. After that it's time for the Dmin, Amin and Emin chords. I remember practicing them years ago, too, but I can't remember the finger placement Edit²: My fingers hurt But it's so much fun!

Beat Ripper Roo. Really enjoying the game Tight platforming with a nice difficulty. Love it. The only annoying thing: The fucking load times whenever you start up the trilogy...

Would love to do some piano lessons but there are no trial lessons in the area. And I can't afford real lessons Just picked up my acoustic guitar again. Haven't played in years and I never really learned any chords. I was just able to play a couple of Muse songs on my electric guitar. Learned them by reading tabs. Found a cool app (JustinGuitar) that teaches you the chords and how to change between them. Think I'll use this every day to practice a little. Started with the A and D chords. Not too difficult. Also have an app that's supposed to help you train your ear. We'll see if it helps

It's become ridiculous. The worst for me is when you say "the guys" and mean a collective of people, both male and female. "But 'guy' is male, that's sexist". It's even worse in German, because we have more declensions than the English language. If you don't want to offend people you have to be really careful. It's a good think I don't care.

Never in my life will I do that again. I've done that for years. Until I was about 21. It's so tiring, always trying to avoid certain topics or words...urgh. Again, when I know it's not the right time to joke about certain things, I keep it to myself. But in any other situation...I just say what's on my mind.

Here's the deal: Yesterday I spent some time with a couple of people (friends and people I know but don't consider friends). At one point we told each other jokes and someone asked me what my favourite joke was. Well... What's the difference between a trampoline and a baby? I take my shoes off when I jump on a trampoline. Two people got really mad at me. "How can you think that's funny?", "What if your child got hurt or died, would you still find that joke funny?", "This is not funny at all.". Obviously they were offended by that joke. I'm someone who doesn't get offended. Somebody says science is wrong, religion is true? I don't care. Somebody uses the term white/black in reference to a skin colour (you can't really say "black person" to refer to a black person in Germany; you're immediately calls a Nazi)? I don't care. Somebody assumes anybody's gender? I don't care. I don't get offended by anything others get offended by and in turn I simply say what's on my mind. Not to say that I'm inconsiderate. If I know that someone has certain issues I will not make jokes about that in his presence. It just made me think...do people generally get offended more now than in the past? What about you? Do you get offended by stuff? Not sure if any of that makes sense. I'm having trouble expressing exactly what I want to say in a coherent manner. It would be much easier in German
