  1. Uhhh, this I will buy Just got 20€ PSN credit for 18€ on ebay. What a steal! Shame it's not on the Vita, yet. But I think this is a great game for remote play while watching football. What to buy with the remaining 13€...
  2. Watched some videos and after reading your posts I won't bother. Looks like No Man's Sky is much more up my alley. Now I'm either going to get Undertale (which isn't on sale sadly, as it just got released) or the Humble Bundle which includes XCOM for Vita and XCOM 2 for PS4 (among other games that I'm not particularly interested in; mostly PS3 games). The bundle costs 17€.
  3. Hm...Elite Dangerous for 16.99€...Veeeeery tempted. @Fierce_LiNk @DriftKaiser @Cookyman @ArtMediocre @somme Help me out here. Is it worth it? I've bought No Man's Sky recently again which is something I'll keep coming back to in the future. How does Elite Dangerous compare? Can you play this for an hour and still achieve something? Or do you really have to invest time to enjoy it?
  4. Played this for 6 hours yesterday and today. Reached the dungeon where you get your first Esper. Completely forgot how tough it is to get a lot of Gil early game. If I remember correctly I'll be able to farm some Gil soon, though.
  5. Played for a bit. It was a little overwhelming at first. A lot of new ways to do what I did when I first played the game Still working on the missions I already knew from before (fuel for the Warp Drive).
  6. Nah The game introduced the two-job-system just now. Since I want to use every job available I did some research. Going with: Vaan - Breaker/Hunter Balthier - Samurai/Knight Basch - Red Mage/Archer Fran - Time Mage/Uhlan Ashe - Black Mage/Monk Penelo - White Mage Machinist This isn't the optimal way to do things, but I always try to use every job or class that's available
  7. At the club: 4€ entry fee. Gave the guy 5€, he said: "Alright, 6€ back to you and enjoy your night". Oookaay...thanks Anyway, back home. Almost sober again. Good party, great music! Tired as fuck...Good night.
  8. Almost drunk. Going to a club again. 90s party. YES! Goning to dance like crazy. Only just realized...the irony
  9. Oh my, I think it's time to get the game again. It's 15€ at the moment on the PSN store. Veeeeeryyy tempted. Will check some impressions and make my decision later. Edit: Downloading now
  10. I don't remember asking you... Just kidding. Thanks. That's good to know Will probably do that. I don't remember much of the game. Played it way back when it was released in 2006. The remaster will probably take me back to the good old teenage years...oh I feel old now.
  11. @Hero-of-Time Do you know of any missable trophies? Picking the game up later today (hopefully) and I'm ready to jump right in Still undecided whether I'm going to break the game or not. Would have to look up how.
  12. Have reached Pinstripe Potoroo but didn't start the fight. Haven't had a lot of trouble so far, but I've only been doing my way through the levels without going after gems. I can already see how the Golden Relic Hunt will test my patience... By the way, @Hero-of-Time wtf is this game on your trophy card? The one with the cat?
  13. I assume chords belong to a certain set of skills (fingering them correctly, strumming correctly, etc.)? I've learned some and like to put them to use by playing one or two easy songs occasionally. I've actually learned enough chords to play one of my favourite songs: Playing one of the guitars is not too difficult. It's an E - A - D pattern and at two points there's a G chord and a C chord. The "solo" at the end I'm slowly figuring out by myself.
  14. Thanks @Fierce_LiNk. I'm currently following The JustinGuitar Beginners Course. Not far into it (played the C and G chords for the first time today) but it seems like a good guide. I'll buy that book sometime in the future Won't reach the F chord with the course mentioned above anytime soon, but I'm still practicing it every other day. That fucking B string...
  15. I cannot, for the life of me keep the guitar neck steady...It's annoying when it moves a little while trying to change chords, especially changing between E and Am. No idea what I'm doing wrong.
  16. What I've seen from Mario Odyssey so far (which isn't much) I'd say that this will probably be a much better GotY contender in my opinion. (by the way: What do you think of Odyssey so far?). To be frank, I always wonder what the reception to many things Nintendo did/does would be if it wasn't Nintendo. They do get criticized for their online situation but I think they should get much much more...And again, people, don't come at me with a knife. Nintendo has done a lot of good things with the Switch (even though I don't like much about it) and the DS...
  17. Such a weird article. Regarding content it's spot on, but the wording sometimes makes it sound like rant, as you said. However, I do agree with a lot what has been said in the article. A couple of quotes that nail how I feel about certain aspects of the game: It's what I've said the moment I finished the game 100% agree. Ganon is there but at the same time isn't. He's one of the most boring villains in any game I've ever played because he doesn't interact with you. Another reason why I think Ganon is a dumb villain. Yes, the world is in ruins but the village(r)s are all basically unaffected. Exactly my thoughts about quests...BotW has the same "tropes" that any other open world game has... The game is absolutely not hard. Nothing in this game is difficult. A little more about how boring Ganon is. He's just there to serve as the final boss. And my god, what a boring final boss that was... The most apt description of how I feel about BotW's world. ! Some shrines are interesting but the fact that all are basically the same makes them tedious to do, in my opinion. And with the bonuses you can get via cooking getting heart containers and stamina upgrades is actually not needed. You all know how much I hate breakable weapons My thoughts exactly. And the following is the most important one: This is why I think Horizon: Zero Dawn nails the "open world" and "linearity" concepts and by that I mean how the devs perfected the balance between those two. You can explore the world as you wish, fight monsters, collect items, find out more about what happens in the past without progressing the story, etc. And the quests (main and side quests) are a beautiful mix of linearity (i.e. they progress the story and "force" you to advance once you start them) and freedom (i.e. you can approach fights however you want). Before some people bring out the pitchforks again: It's a good game, I never denied that. It's just overrated. To be honest, it's a shame that this is going to win every GotY award this year because quite frankly it doesn't deserve it. Or to be more precise: Those who give the awards should think more critically about this game and give other games a chance. It will never happen, though. And if it does it's going to be clickbait
  18. Not sure, to be honest. I like breaking RPGs but I also want to experience the game without breaking it again
  19. Well, I've played the original when it was released years ago. I just wanted to know whether the remake is worth 30€, but H-o-T and S.C.G. had to be veeeeeery funny...
  20. I just wanted to talk to you guys.
  21. Yeah, thanks for the help, guys. I just ordered it..............
  22. I do Everybody would
  23. Should've played PS4
  24. But the children...think of the children.
