Reached level 20 and power level 200. Got a Sparrow. Finally. Will make those travels between larger areas in patrol zones a little less annoying. Story-wise I think I'm in the final stretch. Maybe 4-5 more missions. Can't wait to see how it'll end. Will do some public events to start a specific side quest (not going to spoil it; not sure if everybody knows about a certain thing).

You can trade them in at Devrim to raise reputation. I don't know if it's better to wait until you're at a higher level or not...I traded them in immediately and got max reputation at an early level. You can get the reward (legendary engram) only at level 20 anyway. Previewing the possible engram contents shows level 15 gear. I assume/hope the equipment you get will be level 20. Edit: The equipment I got was at level 15 or 16. But they improved my power level a little. Decided to spontaniously take a day off from work...yeah, going to work tomorrow will be even more difficult Edit: Well, servers are fucked. Time to go back to sleep.

Haven't had a non-stop gaming session this long in ages I've completed 70% of the main missions and I enjoyed every moment. Done several side missions, explored lots of Lost Sectors, looted many Region Chests and marveled at the beautiful vistas the game has to offer. I also entered The Crucible for a couple of matches. Good old Destiny PvP. Can't wait to find that one weapon I am comfortable with and wreck some Guardians Almost at level 20. I think it's just a matter of one or two story missions. Already spent about 10 hours with the game and I still have only scratched the surface... Edit: Also...I can't stress this enough: The music...it has become one of my favourite video game soundtracks ever.

Nothing. I don't care. You can get Bright Engrams regularly after reaching level 20. Buying them gives you an advantage if you buy them right now. I think in a week it won't matter. The engrams are also bound to RNG, so you can't just get whatever you need. In other news: Reached level 13 with my Hunter and opened up the third area. Not sure what I'll do next. Keep playing with that character to get ready for the Raid and other activities or start a Titan? Everything I've done so far was fucking awesome. So much fun. Managed to do a Heroic Public Event just now. Intense

@Hero-of-Time From what I've played so far I can say that Plygon's quote is spot on. It definitely is Destiny but it still feels different somehow. It feels good. Can't really explain why, though I think I've done 6 story missions so far. Now it's time to explore the EDZ some more. Spent 2 hours exploring the first area of it. And looking at the map it amounts to maybe 10% of the whole patrol zone... Going to start a side mission now and after that I'll make my way to the next area.

I remember not being into video game news before Melee was released. Playing the game completely blind was so much better than what I experienced with the sequels. Even staying clear of the Dojo didn't help because the news was spread on every video game site anyways...and I'm not going to stop visiting those sites because Nintendo spoils everything. Like I did with BotW, I'll stay clear of everything aside from the E3 trailer for Super Mario Odyssey.

Just woke up (yeah, nothing to do today ). Going to have lunch in a couple of minutes and then dive back into the world of Destiny 2.

Managed to reach level 6. It's so much fun. Spent 2 hours in the patrol area and I haven't even scratched the surface of what it has to offer. Can't wait to spent all of Wednesday to play this game

Doesn't work anymore.

Just reached the social space. My goodness, that was one of the fucking best opening sequences I've ever played. The gameplay was Destiny as we all know: Gunplay at its best. But what stood out to me was the audiovisual experience. The setting, the sound effects, the music...it was spectacular. I didn't expect to be blown away this much, to be honest. The first 40 minutes were absolutely incredible.

Apparently there's another loading screen of some kind when starting the digital version for the first time... "Transfering Data" which amounts to downloading 29GB according to a reddit post. That's me not playing tonight, then.

Waiting for Destiny 2 to launch... LOOK! So much fluff. Yes...I'm bored

Say what you want about the Destiny franchise but its music is one of the best in gaming.

Edit: Well, it's not Hope Part 4 will arrive soon. Now it's time for some extra lore: The Vault of Glass, Crota's End, Stroies of Cayde-6, The Dragons, etc...
