That's correct. Reading your posts makes me want to play one of the old Final Fantasy games I never played Final Fantasy VI (and 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) but I hear that it's supposed to be pretty good. Might be something for when I'm done with Final Fantasy VII Remake.

That's the one Has a very weird name in the German version: Tatzelwurm. Gives a whooping 36k exp (IIRC). Not necessarily worth it, though, unless you want to be a little OP for a while.

That's a fair point. When I played the game as kid, this was never an issue. Even playing it years later was fine. But now that there's the option of speeding the game up...once you do it, you can never go back It gets better once you have access to Haste (or even better: Auto-Haste).

Just finished the game. Took me almost 5 hours. Best Zelda game in ages. No wonder, since it hasn't been developed by Nintendo. Brace Yourself Games managed to make the Crypt of the Necrodancer formula work with AlttP. The result is marvelous. Perfect gameplay, catchy remixes of beloved Zelda tunes, gorgeous to look at. A little light on content, though. Expected a little more for the price, but I don't regret the purchase. It was too much fun. Probably won't go for an Octavo playthrough right away, though. It doesn't change that much and the world (even though it's randomized to a certain degree) is still too fresh in my mind.

Great session Gotta say, I haven't played the original NES version further than world 2, so I was a little rusty, but the All Star Version feels so different. Caught me off guard. Still... I suck at this game It's not difficult by any means, but somehow I couldn't show off my insane gaming skillz. Using the worst controllers in history (Joy-Cons) certainly doesn't help.

That's the biggest issue in my opinion. No matter how much Nintendo fucks up, it doesn't matter...people happily spend the cash (and occasionally I'm part of them, see: me buying the anniversary collection). So why should Nintendo change? But for a company that paved the way for many innovations...do they really wanna stay where they are? Stuck with an archaic online offering, stuck with the same IPs over and over and over again, stuck with porting their oldest games to every generation? I hope not...

I'll try my best to be home by 6-7pm (German time). Not making any promises, though, as I will be drinking one or 50 alcoholic beverages tonight.

Reached chapter 14 today and it seems like this is the last "open" chapter. Lots of side quests and activities to do. I really don't want this game to end It is sooooooo good.

Indeed. I've used my Switch loads because of the thriving indie scene and because I've caught up on several old first party releases but after thinking about my time with the console...there's been nothing new to play for a long, long time now from Nintendo. It's sad, really...the Switch is a nice system and it sells like hot cakes, but it's been lacking significant first party support for quite a while now. Ports are nice and all, but come on...give us something new. I really hope they launch a new Switch version next year with it a nice line up of new games (that are compatible with the current Switch model).
