Yeah a small number of patterns have been reduced. I happened to like that one. The blue suede one looks pretty cool too but is around £65.

A pair of Onitsuka Mexico 66's, £40 through Schuh on Amazon

I think the voices are really good, with the exception of Ion and maybe Anise. Personal preference it seems, but the VA's can't be accused of not putting effort into their voice and they certainly match their character's personalities.

£10 per metre, is that a joke? You do realise the so called 'premium' gold plated etc. versions are just a con? Please do not take that advice. If it was meant as a joke then I apologise!

I do agree that it's annoying for people to not be able to buy this game but then again I know what this company is like and so got my preorder in really early. This would never happen if Nintendo got with the times and made it feasible to download titles as Sony and Microsoft already have.

I'm not sure how the Vita will exceed where the PSP failed. On the one hand the PSP was technically superior to the DS, but on the other it to me failed to differentiate itself from its console alternative. I think what most people want from a handheld console isn't necessarily what Sony is offering. I can imagine the Vita will do well in Japan, and somewhat well outside of Japan, but I think the 3DS will continue to dominate to a large degree over this.

You bought it but are sharing it with your brother? That's quite generous of you! I'd recommend Mario Kart and Tales of the Abyss, although you might find the latter quite hard to come by.

Well that last episode was certainly not Christmas viewing! Despite it being quite depressing it was clearly well written and acted and was tugging at my heartstrings. It actually had me relating to the hurtful feeling of being cheated on which is quite something, I felt pretty uncomfortable from the middle part onwards. It's actually a pretty believable storyline given being cheated on is about the worst experience I've personally felt in my life. Clearly Brooker should be given a big bag of a money to do more like this, he's clearly got a knack not just for sarcy put-downs but producing great miniseries too.

I arranged our lab Christmas party that we had last Friday, really enjoyed it. We booked a small gastropub in Central London for 13 and had some really nice food and plenty of drinks. Then the remainder of us head over to the Birkbeck for £1.50 drinks and some epic games of pool. Next Tuesday is our department Christmas party... yay for Christmas parties.

Classic. What you say never makes sense, but this time even more so. You refuse to follow your own original line of argument since you know you're quite simply talking bollocks. You tried to say flameboy was wrong when he said hardware issues can cause software problems. Cue you posting a link that then proves you wrong. Out of interest, why do you continue to be a part of a community where nobody values a single one of your posts?

So you basically just proved him right. Since he originally said: and your link states: Not very switched on, are you? P.S. everyone here thinks you're talking out of your arse. So you may as well save yourself time here and go make a coffee instead.

Choze don't be a tard, I can confirm that blue screens often happen as a result of plugging hardware in that causes a conflict with software. You're often severely misinformed and it's common knowledge around here that people should avoid pretty much anything you say. Silly lad.

Oh dear lord, are you selectively being ignorant? Obviously releasing a game with clear slowdown issues is unacceptable. But what this isn't, is gamebreaking like was said here. As unlike New Vegas the game very rarely locks up, meaning you don't lose your data. And again, until you try resetting or playing it yourself I suggest you stop passing off anothers experience as your own.
-
Excuse me, did I ever say it was all good? No. He was arguing that it had nothing to do with how long since you first started a load, which is bollocks. It is annoying but in no way gamebreaking. If you left your PC on for hours it can go to shit; admittedly more hours than this but you wouldn't exactly write your PC off because of it.
-
Well than that's bollocks and the fact that you keep citing this article as opposed to your own experience says enough. This is a problem that for me (someone who has played ridiculous amounts of time, far more than them) is resolved after a reset and only happens after a number of hours and usually after several passes of congested towns. My experience is also backed up by Goafer's, in that his short (2-3h) bursts of play probably account for why he only sees minor slowdowns. It's an extremely easy test to make if you wish to contest my point (try resetting). If you don't have the means then I suggest you don't keep trying to ring home a point based on footage you've seen.

My save file is over 12MB. I'm L60 and have played over 100 hours. It never gets so slow that it completely unplayable, ie. never actually freezes. And it only gets slow after several hours of play, and is resolved by resetting the PS3. To get 0FPS these guys have either left the PS3 on for an unrealistic amount of time or are just using the grill vents to cook bacon. Seriously.
-
It may well be linked to save file size but I don't agree that it could mean Skyrim becomes completely unplayable. It is somewhat fixed for a number of hours after turning on the PS3 in my case, despite my save file being ridiculously large straight from the load. I dunno, it seems like if they could pull off whatever is happening when you first load every so often it might be ok.
-
I find the framerate only gets bad after several hours of play. If I turn the PS3 off and on I'm pretty much fine for a good few hours. Some places tend to cause screw ups quicker, like walking around Whiterun.

Gamasutra editor will ban you if you make him look silly!

Actually lol'd a little at the absurdity of this situation. I'm tempted to call this troll. -
Yeah I gave up asking for games the Christmas on account that if it's a game I want, I'll want to play it in that window of time off I have in the run up to the 25th. £20ish is a good price for this though given how it's new and content packed.

I just find it so weird that you came here and posted this. It's obvious you felt butthurt from being banned and the fact you went into glorious detail here is evidence of that. For that reason it's pretty hard to take this seriously, given how it's of no relevance/importance/interest to anyone on these forums. -
Wow, talk about a stupid reason. Doesn't come across as fanboy at all.
