I think all of us as Mafia played pretty well and chose good targets. We were pretty sure we could have done it without any losses but Jimbob made a late and unannounced nerfing to my role that only applied for the night where we killed Holly which meant dannyboy was spotted by Cube, and then lynched. This made us very mad. But then after that Jimbob told us we could use the luck virus to do some pretty spectacular things, like making it so anyone who targeted one of us would die. This game became pretty unusual at that point.

Not bad, but you still got bob wrong. I'm not saying your powers of deduction aren't wrong. Hell, most of the good main dwarf characters were good anyway so it was pretty easy by that respect to deduce townies. Its just the way you went about expressing your views and vote switching which meant that no one ever joined you when you tried to lynch me. Also at one point you said that whether or not I was Mafia or not would have little sway on whether you voted for me. This was a massive mistake I thought. You were publicly voicing that you would let personal reasons/dislike of me affect your vote. People are hardly going to join in on that.
-
I have a lot of respect for that. Hope to see you back in games soon.

True but you lynched a double voter, which was a major pro-town lynching power. It seemed more like the turning point for your thoughts about me was thinking that I was Rimmer due to some info you got. Although I was actually Queeg. :P Before that I was in your top list of townies. I don't think it's too bad/suspicious to highlight inactivity or changes in behaviour, DuD was the first to point out that I wasn't causing too much trouble. Commenting on inactivity seems more town behaviour anyhow. Also I was half hoping to be a bit suspicious so the alignment investigator would target me (I could either protect myself or have bob make me appear good). If we're dishing out advice I'd say you aroused suspicion when you said you were sure I was Mafia but then voted the person I accused. I couldn't work that one out, it was really weird.

Bob, the love virus. Was quite surprised no one picked up on Magnus having the used vial on him later on. I was also surprised you didn't remove your vote on Magnus after I joined in with you. :p And true Yvonne but you still lynched him and he wasn't Mafia. Also now you know when I called your inactivity into question it was a ruse since I was Mafia. I wasn't trying to cause offense by the way, and really wasn't expecting you to take it so when I commented on your inactivity.

I think that was Jimbob's touch. We kept using Magnus to do kills for us for a lot of the game.

You. Animal protected you by reflecting you. That guy you lynched. :p

Sweet. And thus the curse is broken! Me and Nintendohnut were on the same team! It may interest some that the Mafia only started with 3 players (me, bob, danny) and we managed to wrangle Dohnut to our side after a shake up. Thanks @Cube for voting Magnus! :p

I feel this game would benefit from a good online infrastructure with server side worlds that friends can visit any time, and towns that tens of people can visit at once. Maybe even having server lists where you can choose where to go, and the option to build houses/spec out your entire town.

No actually I accidentally

I actually that's an under-reaction!

Ehh...without risk of starting a massive flame war... At a glance this looks a lot like the old games. Is the basic gameplay being rehashed? Kinda looks a bit samey.

Basic console ports being the crucial element of your post. Shitty console ports by the sounds of things. I can't quite work out the statement you're making here. You only need to play a game like Skyrim to realise that PC framerates blow console equivalents out of the water.

Please, do not lie. I believed Magnus for a good portion of the game and only tried to lynch him when I got info that he was connected to the crime. I am voting for him because I completely believe he is Mafia. I don't see why, despite info from people who we all clearly believe are town, you keep defending him. Out of interest how many kills must he make before you suspect him?
-
Because Magnus was my target. I saw him throw away the bloodied hat.
-
I can also confirm this. Vote: Magnus Peterson Second: I'm not Mafia Dohnut. I tried to stop Animal being killed and only called for Magnus's lynch when I found evidence of his guilt myself.

That's the beauty of the Vita version, no inflated prices because it'll be on the store. Can't wait for this.
-
Sweet. This will be film of the year.
-
Clearly a lynch train, and with one more vote Mafia have won.
-
That's because somebody targeted me last night. I know who this person is but unlike Yvonne, I'm not in the habit of outing people against their will.
-
I must have missed this, when were you outed as a protector? Danny could be Mafia but the obvious lynch is Magnus. All we know is that Danny is a roleblocker and that, to our horror, he is using his role and roleblocking people. Was the same logic not used on Animal - that he was using his power? And then you all got the lynch wrong and killed the wrong guy. Several of us have seen Magnus do something scummy. I have seen him screw up what was almost certainly the light bee. Tonight the killer wielded a knife. He walked away from the airlock. Blacked out and admits that he could have been controlled. Considering we probably have one more chance to get it right I am pretty gobsmacked you're choosing Danny over Magnus based on a lot less info.
-
The fact Yvonne is backing the lynch without question is instantly triggering alarm bells. We can probably safely assume that at least some of the lynch train on Animal were Mafia. The writeup again has a pretty decent link to the to the likely killer; wielding a knife is definitely something I would expect a chef to do. Taken alone you might believe the killer could be anyone else. But not someone who has been implicated in the majority of the deaths in the game. It can't be that someone was disguising as Magnus. Animal was the polymorph and he was neutral. Vote: Magnus. Gone on way too long.
-
What? From the sounds of things you role blocked each other. Did anyone target Magnus last night?
-
Assassinate was pretty cool actually as it was true stealth. People couldn't find you based on a standard compass (which was worse when you had the unfair disadvantage when in 1st place where 3 people were after you). In assassinate mode you really had to blend properly and not act like a roofing gun toting noob tosspot.

Well duh. People are hardly going to buy the hardware if there's not enough software they like!
