  1. Tales, you saying being roleblocked means you have nothing doesn't make sense to me. Saying you were roleblocked IS something. NB - when we are saying 'something' here are you on the same page as me? As in something = information.
  2. To the guys saying you have nothing, here are some of the things you could answer (you do have something): Who did you target? Were you successful? What happened to you? Even answering just one of those is something @Cube and @Jimbob please answer something. I reached my target last night, as I did the night before. @DuD were you attacked by a roleblocker then? (hence why you couldn't complete your action). What was the message associated with the roleblocker?
  3. False! I have a perishing thirst for music and thoroughly enjoyed this. It's great. And as the only person here to have this version I declare your viewpoint pure speculation.
  4. And then will have to pay again if you want to play on Vita (since they've made it a mission to lock regions for Vita). For Tomba at least it's not really that noticeable. I've just played from start to finish on the version they released, and since I could barely remember the music I couldn't tell any difference. This will only have any effect on you if you knew the original music well. And really care.
  5. Rummy has only just died. By tomorrow mornings writeup we should know more, providing Peeps isn't interfered with. Peeps targets a corpse and Yvonne posthumously edits the previous night's writeup to include more info on the deceased. For instance Supergrunch's death writeup (N1) now reads: Supergrunch was town. He could check which character a player was, but only if that player was not targeted by anyone else. He was also a wiretap technician, and needed Probable Cause, Exhaustion and to submit an Affidavit to get authorisation to use a wiretap.
  6. Love/attraction can overrule practicality and concerns over logistics. It's really not as simple as pick one close to you; you pick someone because of who they are rather than their proximity to you.
  7. Not suspicious, I'd be suspicious of anyone who just went along with a lynch based purely on 'yeah, he did it'. Since it would be daring to lie about this since you'd no doubt be lynched if wrong. Vote: Zell
  8. Explain more if you want others to vote. Not going to string someone up over potentially nothing.
  9. No one Sword Art Online watching? Hmm... I just finished watching up to the break point, it's sweet.
  10. It's a good point considering Supergrunch was also revealed as town upon death while Rummy wasn't. Maybe he was neutral. Shame we're not seeing what the people did upon death, I'll be honest and say this game is tough (and I know little about the show/plot). Kinda don't want to just go look it up since I know it's good and don't want to spoil it.
  11. Ehm...wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a response on that one.
  12. Nah it's about £3, well worth it. All Vita owners, I have the next thing you have to buy. Partly because it's the sequel to one of the best games on the DS, and partly because it's cheap for a new game that's not come out yet. The sequel to 9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors (AKA 999) called Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward is penned in for a Nov 16th release, and priced at only £22.50. This will be amazing and that is a good price. Gogogo
  13. There were 18 players at the beginning of the game though. Hero is there a reason why you're using the F word in every sentence or have I missed something?
  14. Can long distance relationships work? Yes, but that would totally depend on the person. I had a long distance relationship once. Turns out that after 3 and a half years of being in the relationship, I learned that I never truly knew her. Back then I was devastated, but now I can look back and realise that she was not ready for a proper relationship and really probably wasn't in control of her own life, let alone have what it took to be a decent girlfriend. An easily angered temperament and constant depression made for someone who wasn't a nice person to be with, put bluntly. And of course, the betrayal. Long distance relationships can work, but close relationships would always be preferable. Living with my girlfriend now makes me realise this. I know that if anything caused me and my girlfriend now to be long distance we'd be fine, because of the person she is.
  15. Unless you pirate a copy of AVG as well, I guess. :p
  16. Well our freezer has 5 draws, and it only takes up maybe half of the bottom draw. Not much. Going to make some banana ice cream later.
  17. Eenuh, sexism against men can be just as bad and there is no reason why anyone should try to rationalise one form being worse than another as you are doing here. This is exactly the point, well put.
  18. Unfortunately I can only thank your post once Animal. Hamish your view on there not really being male sexism is backwards, and exactly the point people have been making in terms of men having to take such comments 'like a man'.
  19. You don't know he can't do it though, unlike someone with claustrophobia and tight spaces. Most people are fine/not too bothered by tight spaces, claustrophobics aren't. But most people would be nervous of talking to strangers/putting themselves out there, it's normal. It's not something you should really need counselling over. You don't need to tell people how here, it's a case of them realising if they want something enough they have to go for it. You make your own chances in life, etc.
  20. I would be ashamed if people were ashamed of that. It's a valid point. I'm not saying the site is a bad thing, just that it IS ironic. Sexism affects men and women, and like I showed above your analogy to different diseases is quite off (sexism is the same bag). I will argue over this as I find your standpoint rather ridiculous. :p
  21. I'm guessing you're a role blocker? Or did you forget to target anyone?
  22. Yeah, considering that the aim is for equality it makes little sense to treat gender discrimination separately. And as an alternative view to the disease thing - different disease, different knowledge needed to treat. Same disease (or same problem - sexism) and it can be treated by the same people. Tell me, wouldn't it be weird to see separate international woman AIDS and man AIDS days? Some things make no sense to separate, other than the presence of an underlying agenda/motive.
  23. @Tales did you reach your target?
  24. The irony is that it's a site devoted to sexism and ignores the fact that men also experience sexism, itself being somewhat sexist / displaying favouritism towards gender. No one is saying that it's committing an abhorrent sin, just that there is definitely more than a trace of irony there. N-E can cover stories on a company gone to crap if it likes, there's no irony in not covering the others. :p
  25. I don't think it is. Cancer and, say, heart disease are two different kettles of fish would require completely different people with a lifetime's worth of knowledge to understand them. In fact, several lifetimes of knowledge. So I could completely understand different knowledge bases dedicated to them. It makes no sense to me why that site couldn't also include sexism towards men. It also makes a statement in focusing only on women, one that many in this thread have picked up on. I also agree with the double standards thing some people are saying. If you are openly sexist to women in most modern workplaces these days you will have your balls chopped off. Yet I often see sexist remarks towards men that are completely disregarded by everyone else.
