  1. Not since somebody told me it would be on the 'shop' (This is all news to me. I didn't even know there was the capacity to download 3DS games and I have one!) My Vita version has shipped from ShopTo. I paid a couple of pounds more than Amazon to get it a bit earlier.
  2. Anyone who bought the 16GB Nexus 7 back when it was still around £200 (like me) is entitled to get £25 credit on the ASUS store. Link.
  3. It's very good. I have it and I can't think of any bad points. I chose it because it has been reviewed as the best in its price range. 7 inch is good, app store is decent but could be better. Has most of the important stuff on iOS anyway. £158 for the 16GB at Carphone warehouse. Easily worth it, and I think you still get £10 credit on the store.
  4. Also if it's anything like the first it's impossible to unlock the true ending the first time.
  5. BUT even if you blend in deathmatch, as soon as someone sees two people that look like you they know either one of them is you or that you're hiding in the haystack nearby. They know to whip out some ability that will tell them more. So in a way you need less attention to detail - detail is about looking at how people behave. How is looking at appearance 'detail'? Take the barber dude - in one of the games he had a green top that always stuck out ridiculously. I could see that from far away. And like I said, the compass is effectively like having nothing in assassinate. All it does is directs you from very far away in the direction of people. It doesn't direct you when you're close. If anything it stops the game becoming totally stale if people decide to hide in a remote spot all game. Also I meant you can't target people in assassinate to get them as your kill target once they target you. And the ability for the targeted person to track you and screw up your points is GOOD! It means you have to be stealthy and non-obvious in your approach. It means, don't target people if you're a mile away from them. It means, use common sense, and above all, a stand off between people - target too late and risk getting targeted first. It's brilliant and layered.
  6. Not if you lock them, they can't lock you back. My input here is coming from the last game though, not got the most recent yet. The compass is bad, it gives you a chevron when a target is really far away but nothing more when you get within a reasonable distance/view of them. It is far worse than wanted mode. The compass becomes normal if you lock someone. That becomes your target. But in order to lock the person they have to either A) be a tard who runs around or b) have no comprehension of blending. If you blend well with clones, use disguises, decoy, you have some good extra stealth methods. The mode you speak of where there's no clones removes a lot of stealth. You just see the right person and kill them. That's pretty weak. You can't without the style of compass in wanted (can't pick your target out as they pass a corner). If you blend with a crowd of clones and don't touch the control stick you walk exactly as an NPC would. There's no way to tell. I'm not talking about blending as in just walking with a generic bunch of NPCs. While that might be considered blending by the game, if you don't have any clones that look like you, as soon as you're spotted you're dead.
  7. You have a compass but it's so bad, and because there's the ability to blend you do need a slight compass. And when you say pick your target you choose which person to lock onto and they can't lock onto you. This is great because if someone acts suspicious or stupid, like starts running running through a crowd or on the rooftop then you target them. It's like the perfect 'no noobs' mode. Without the ability to blend I think you lose a lot of the strategy you can normally apply.
  8. Oh so it isn't just me. Happened on both of my old sixaxis to the extent that I really don't want to use them. Luckily I have a newer dualshock that I always try to use. Both the old sixaxis are off center too, shitty products.
  9. Fuck's sake dead again on the first night.
  10. Oh you didn't. :p It's the sequel to 999 (9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors). on the DS. But you definitely don't need to play 999 first to get this. It's basically a series that has probably the most awesome storylines to a game ever. They revolve around the 'binary game'. Basically in the first game 9 people were kidnapped, dumped inside a secured ship and told they had 9 hours to escape or else a bomb planted inside of them would explode. A little like saw in the premise. But so much deeper... in order to pass through rooms you have to solve the clues and you can only pass through rooms with certain combinations of people. Each person has their own number on a wristwatch (1 to 9). Only people with numbers adding up to 9 can leave the room - e.g. the people with numbers 1 and 8 or 1,3 and 5. The first game had brilliant twists that no one could call. You end up having to play the game more than once in order to change the outcome of the game and take different paths. The first game is too good, I'm really not doing it justice explaining it. Not that I value their opinions particularly but IGN have given it 9.5 and RPGamer 9. Shit's gonna rock, and it's only like £23 on Amazon (preorder).
  11. Then my game is glitched. NANDE???!
  12. It's the same with most games. A decent PC will usually always run the same game a lot better than the console version. Frame rate, textures, load times, etc. No one else geared up for Zero Escape on the Vita? What can I say to convince you all?
  13. It doesn't appear in my list of stuff to dualise until it is unequipped. The only exception is that when one piece of equipment ready to dualise is unequipped, (e.g. a piece of tempered equipment), it can be combined with another piece of tempered equipment that is actually still equipped. But until the initial thing you start dualising with is unequipped it simply doesn't appear. It would be incredibly hard to miss anyway given they are bright yellow. Same applies for adding shards to untempered equipment.
  14. This game is actually pretty good. The characters (particularly the main) are much better than say in Abyss. My god Luke was a massive douche. I quite like the titles (reminds me a little of FFIX) and dualising. Although whoever made it so you have to unequip stuff to dualise needs a slap. Pascal is a pretty well voiced character too.
  15. Yeah IDE is likely if its slightly old. IDE ports are wide.
  16. 64GB USB 3.0 mem stick. £28. Ooh yeah, now I needn't ever be without space again. Good speeds too.
  17. For the lulz.
  18. Vote: No Lynch
  19. Definitely. I feel this Mafia was much better than Jimbob's last and I'm sure his next will be much better again.
  20. Yeah it was extremely overpowered. Yup again more balancing.
  21. Yep, it's important to try balance it before you begin so that sort of thing doesn't happen. Still I liked the theme a lot Jimbob. Moreso because it tied in nicely with Red Dwarf X airing. Yep. That's why 3 people died last night.
  22. Basically I was a full protector. The day we killed Holly I protected danny while he role blocked Cube. On this day my protection from him being tracked/spotted failed apparently because while overtaking Holly as the main computer I was devoting my energies to the takeover. But we never knew this would happen and as a result danny was spotted (the prisoners also shouted 'this is for the prison officer' which should never have happened, Cube is not a tracker anyhow). Cue danny lynched.
  23. Yeah he'd already got you by then like you said. The lynch was therefore more revenge and suspicion and still made you worse off in the end. I'll admit Animal didn't help by lying and being pretty quiet all day. I still think Moogle revealing his win condition was dangerous since the Mafia knew they could kill him indirectly by killing off the main characters. Second: A town role blocker could also work against you if they targeted you but that doesn't mean they're Mafia.
  24. He couldn't kill you guys and his presence was one extra head away from Mafia majority. To be honest Moogle was also neutral and you would have been better off if you had killed Moogle since Animal had a double vote. Moogle's presence could have been seen as a threat for you as Cat since killing you and the other main characters would have resulted in an extra juicy bonus kill for the Mafia. Well played for not suspecting Magnus for a second though Rummy. Better than most townies there. @mr\-paul you are dead right. The revelation about the improvement to the luck virus came after my role was nerfed and us resulting in telling Jimbob he bad basically wrecked our game. So...will you play EEVIL's game now?
  25. You're happy for killing your double voter? Mmkay.... :p
