I don't mean to divert from the topic, but what are you doing that you have the DSM? Theres a little book which they look in for all people with mental problems I think, he looked up your 'symptoms' in it and diagnosed you as a crazy ass stalker psychopath! Well no, but he's saying you match the symptoms of the thing he mentioned. Also, you will interpret everything in your favour, because you believe in it, and want it to be that way too. That's why I was telling you not to get your hopes up at all.

Happy Birhtday to him indeed! He does bring a bit of colour to the wii forum, quite amusing sometimes. -
Stamper brothers leave Rare to pursue other opportunities
Rummy replied to IMJ's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I had goldeneye for a bit(well, when the N was nearing it's end) and never played PD really, then one day me and a marte had a N day and he broguth Pd round and tbh when I saw it I just though 'wow, this looks shit', it played wellt hough, whichw reren't too shabby, but I felt it didn't seem that great(out of its time basically). I'm not sure where I'm going with this anymore, I think it was to support Dork's point about how some stuff doesn't age well, like OoT, it is so much easier than I remember, you can 100% it in a week with guides, and even less if you got at it hardcore. I think *all* IP was registered in Rare's name, not the Stampers', and so any IP that even they developed will belong to the company as whole, not them. -

Stamper brothers leave Rare to pursue other opportunities
Rummy replied to IMJ's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I'd have to agree with you there, TimeSplitters is a truly awesome game, truly, especially 3 with all it's different play modes. Got great single player, and great multiplayer. I really look forward to 4, if there is one, which should hopefully appear on the Wii. I suppose the Stampers are loaded from their sale of Rare to MS, but this does mean that any IP owned by Rare is in fact owned by MS now, so they won't be able to use any of their old stuff really, I'd feel a bit gutted if it was me and wanted to break away and start afresh. -
Stamper brothers leave Rare to pursue other opportunities

I'd like to hope they're gonna form a new developing company and start making games for all systems or at least for the Wii. It might be that they like the idea of the wii and really want to devlop for it but can't due to their Rare contract so they would have left. According to wiki, the company had been losing people since 1998 though. It may just be that they're loaded and want to get out of the game(heh) though, maybe they don't enjoy it like they used to, maybe Microsoft squezed the fun out of them. How old are they? Maybe they just want to settle down into life and have an early retirement? It would be very nice if Zoonami(weird company, what the hell do they do? The site is kind of amusing though) and Free Radical, but it might not happen, nobody knows what goes on behind the scenes, and why people originally left Rare. Either way, I'd say the Stamper Brothers and their company have done alot for kids around the world at different times, and the industry itself too. They seem like two guys who are just generally very good at what they do, and I really hope they start something new. -
Generic Birthday Wishes Thread To The3rdChildren and Cubechris

Happy birthday to all 4 of you, you should celebrate by posting more! -
I dunno if that's accurate, but it sounds like a measure of blood alcohol level which I think it is. I usually think it's 1 unit, and just go by that, but I think the limit is measure by blood alcohol level so it really depends on you. Some people will be able to take their drink better, burn it out of the system faster etc so it's best to just stay off it in case you end up just over the limit by some chance.

BEWARE SALLY THE SUNFLOWER: Filth on childrens TV.
Rummy replied to demonmike04's topic in General Chit Chat
I youtubed the video too, and was about to post a link to the exact same one but you beats me to it! Super soakers rock! To the point, sometimes I wonder about some kid's things, they have jokes in them that kids just would not get, though I'm not complaining, it gives me an excuse to watch cartoons. -
Technically, it was a post for last year :p Is there really much point in those headlines/news on the shop channel? I don't really get why they're there..

Well I downloaded it earlier, and while it displayed both the CC and GC pads on the download bit, it did say that controls may have been optimized for the CC, and when I started up the game it said 'You will need a Classic Controller.', even though it seems to work fine with the good old GC one, Stupid nintendo!(i customized the controls before i played it, so i didnt get a chance to experience any of the original problem). As for the game, it's pretty good, I like it, I got to level 3 but got fed up with my continuous dying so I played some zelda.

Official Bitch about Twilight Princess Thread!
Rummy replied to The3rdChildren's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I second that, it's really really annoying dammit. I know what the hell rupee colours are worth and all that, I don't need to be told every time I'm in a new place. As for other things, TP is a top game. Is it a top zelda? Well, it didn't feel enough like a zelda game to me, felt a bit generic, and didn't have enough sidequest stuff to it. Even so, it is a top game, and I quite enjoyed it once I got past constantly comparing it to TP. P.S Solitanze, I think I might still hate you. -
I honestly can't believe more of you didn't find this sooner, it was blatently asking for the click, especially given the rumble when you move the hand over it. I found it on the first day! Besides, it's a crap secret.

I knew you'd see it that way, and I'm glad to hear it too. The party that I went to was pretty cool, I hope everyone had fun last night! For some reason, I feel all good about this year, like something great is gonna happen to me.

Just got in, feeling pretty good, think 2007 might be a good one, I sent a few Wii messages already, but to everyone here at N-Europe, I'd like to wish you a Happy New Year and all the best for 2007!

My party I'm going to starts in 15 minutes, I wont be leaving for another hour though as I have to wait for my mum/car to come home from work so that my dad can drive me. I have my skittle vodka/jelly baby vodka sitting in my fridge, I hope it turns out all right!

Lol, cushions! I love coupling, wish there'd been more of it. Didn't they try and bring in a poor replacement for geoff in the last series though? Just not happening. Pretty much 5 minutes after my last post, I saw an advert for DFS followed right after by an advert for land of leather! Two of them back to back! I wouldn't have cared normally, but it made me really angry! GRR!

My parents. We currently have 27 sofas in our house. In all seriousness, Sofa ads don't bug me much anymore, I've gotten used to them. It does make me wonder though, who thought of going into a sofa business, I mean, how much custom can they get in a day? When I was little I loved shopping for sofas though, as I'd just sit on one somewhere until my parents were finished and came back and found me, unless it was a really big store, where that didn't really work. Now that I think about it, I actually hated sofa shopping too! Sofas suck, everyone should sit on the floor.

I didn't do much yesterday, and I didn't get to watch it as I went round my cousin's. I really wanted to watch it, cos when I was at GAME and watching it in the PS2 someone kicked the PS2 over and it totally screwed up the disc Having said that, I would say it's one of my least liked Studio Ghilbi films(that doesn't mean I don't like it immensely though) I think the Japanese like making stuff that makes no sense to us.
-
I probably would, if it was either a really really really good game I already had, or a game that I didn't already have but was good. Of course, if too many started appearing, I would get quite annoyed with Nintendo.
-
OK, so can someone tell me how this game plays with the gamecube controller, does it play good or bad, and is that after fiddling with the button mapping somewhere, and if so where? Just for clarification all in the same place. I've never played a Castlevania before, but I just read a review and am mighty tempted, but not if I'm gonna have to go out and buy a CC controller after to play it.
-
I'm sure it'll all be cool once the drink starts flowing. I too am going to a house party, I wanted a fresh house party for new years as that what's happened for the last 3 years and they've all been great, but I'm ending up at the same place as I was last year, only this time it's gonna be more of a party than a fathering, should be pretty cool.
-
I am wondering if this runs through the internet, or through the LAN? Not that it matters either way, and probably would work through the internet, but if it's running through the internet and people have download limits and such, isn't that gonna eat at them quite a bit? Does it also mean that say if I knew your IP address and the port you were using that I could just have a browse of your files in the folder?
-
Would you beleive when i made my post about mapping buttons yourself, i was actually thinking of the emulators.
-
You'd think Nintendo would have used their goddamn heads and allowed you customly map buttons for VC titles through the Wii itself somehow, and save the configuration as part of the VC save's save. Seriously Nintendo, you're f***ing idiots.
