Are these both about the same thing? Having said this, I remember seeing a thing on like Tomorrow's World or something about cloaking devices, and it actually would/does work quite well in a ambiguous area like a jungle or forest. A suit of mirrors would in effect work, as where a person stands you'd just see lots of reflected greenery, all they need is a skintight 'mirror' suit. It only works when you're still of course, but I was quite impressed when I saw it.

I think I heard sandman's the main villain in this one, venom's just near the end or something, I dunno. Just saw this on the ITV news, and felt like spreading the love to the forum. Basically, it's Ann Widdecombe going out onto the streets and tackling hoodies I think(not literally, but you know what I mean), which I think is quite bold of her. I also think it'll make for some good watching whilst being a good documentary. Tonight, ITV, 8pm. I just think it'll be quite a unique sort of thing, really not sure how it'll turn out either.

Raj, something to note would be regional differences, the VC titles available varies per region, so depending where you are, there will be different titles available. For example, I think Japan(and possibly america) already have Super Mario World and Link to the Past, whereas Europe doesn't have either.

You know, from that conversation, the other guy actually seemed kind of like an all right dude(despite how he types), funny thing is, it also makes him seem like a ****. The fact that basically the same thing has happened to him makes me think he should be even more understanding about it all and shouldn't have done anything. Drunk or not, he knew exactly what it was like and shouldn't have done it at all. That really really pisses me off, when people know they're cheating, when they know how much hurt they could be causing. I read this thread more, and it sounds like your ex had some big insecurities, which is probably how/why this all happened, and why she said that stuff about how she didnt love you and you deserve better, but that in no way at all excuses it. Are you still angry with her? Do you honestly think you could ever forgive her, really? If you don't, and truly don't, then theres no point in trying to salvage it in my opinion.

Does nobody remember when Venom first came to earth it bonded with Spiderman? When he wore it then, he wore it like a suit, not like a skin. I've always sort of thought of it as a suit though(a sort of 1 piece), not a skin anyway. I stand by thinking these are models of venom on peter/spiderman, as I think I also remember there being a picture of spiderman in a black suit released. Venom's appearance changes depending on who it is bonded with, doesn't it?

Afraid not, was and still am watching Terminator 3. Now I just need to see the beginning of 2, and all of 1. I'm probably watching it in the most backwards way ever. Does anyone think that people were being a bit harsh on shilpa last night? Danielle was being right bitchy, and as far as I can tell Shilpa hasn't really done anything to warrant it. To me, that's part of what makes Venom. I think that may possibly be peter parker in the symbiote, and thus that is his black suit and why the webs are on it. It's possibly Venom may just take that form after anyway. For me, it's the CGI that has annoyed me about the films, CGI still isn't good enough that it looks realistic enough to me. It's very good, but you can still tell in the films, he seems to move too fluidly, and kind of looks too round/smooth.

Then to an extent, that's kind of stupid in my opinion. What if it had been a black person calling a black person nigger? I have of course assumed it was a white person saying it, but either way, it's really stupid. It's like someone getting expelled cos someone grassed you for bad language, where was the proof? I can see it from both sides, some people think there needs to be ZT on racism(like ignoring the diffrence, like I said in my last post), but I think intent and stuff comes into play with it slighty, though that's tricky territory.

I think sometimes things are getting a bit too PC, like baa baa black sheep being banned(even if it wasnt, just the idea of it). Sheep are black, sheep are white, sheep are diffrent colours. People are black, people are white, people are different colours. Stuff like that completely ignores the distinction, ignores colour, and I think that doesn't do a single thing at all to help stop racism. People shouldn't try to ignore the difference, but just need to not see it as anything particular or negative, just another difference like hair colour. Of course, there'll be some cultural differences, but it isn't like someone of lower class would hate someone of upper class just because they have very different backgrounds. Me and my friends actually make alot of racial jokes, not racist, but just jokes based on race sort of thing(not conventional type jokes), I sometimes wonder if people from the outside saw it, we'd seem quite racist, but I don't think we are, just making light of a silly matter. Whilst there majority of my friends in question here are white, none of them are actually racist, and there are a few of us from ethnic backgrounds. I assume you're living in rented accomodation right? When does your lease end? I imagine the whole living together thing doesn't help things much at all, but it's far from ruined your life.

I think they call that water intoxication now, I remember they kept going on about it this summer cos it was so hot over here, how not to drink too much water and if you do make sure you eat something with the required salts in it too. The brain swells as a side result due to osmosis I think. I think what also happens is the more water you take in, the more water the body gets rid off, but salts like sodium tend to be in excreted fluids. I'm not really sure about it all now that I think about it, but I'd quite like to know. I saw Changing Lanes in the cinema once, when it came out. I paid money to see it. Alot of money too as I was in greenwich. Real money. I don't know if anybody has seen it, but I just...don't get it. It seemed like a film about nothing(well, had some sort of deep message behind it), but in effect was a film about nothing despite having both SamueL and Ben Affleck. I want to see it again, to see if I was wrong about it, but I bet that's just what they want me to do, go giving them more money! 0/£8.

Is the word black here encompassing everyone non-white, or specifically black people? I don't think racism is the real cause, the real cause is what I can see right here, and I'd call it ignorance(well, racism IS the cause, but I'm saying that it's ignorance that causes the racism). There's just been a few mentions of stereotypes and generalisations already, and I think it starts from things like that. I'm not on some high horse here pointing fingers and criticising people, I'm saying generally to an extent I think it starts with ignorance that ends up leading to these violent situations. I remember I used to think, if racism wasn't at all mentioned, would it still exist? Like racism breeds racism, so if there was none to start, would it be here? I'm trying to explain what I mean better, but I can't get it straight right now, I'll have to give it a bit of a think, plus it's nearly half three.

The best bit was his comeback which was bascally 'Well...I hope you're making lots of money!' in a pretty darn angry tone. I feel my last post gave the opinion I disagreed with him being an arse, he is indeed an arse, but a real entertaining one to watch! I'd say there is some truth to it though, it's not like the last 3 years you've been with her have been a waste because of this one moment. That isn't me saying to get back with her, it's just me saying to appreciate the happiness you did have with her. I feel like I'm sticking the knife in here, but I don't mean to. I say get over it, move on, and just remember the memory, but try not to wish for things to go back to how they were, because I don't think they could ever truly go back to that now. It's better to have loved a lion, than to never have loved at all.

I work and try to go out drinking, recently I have a shameless lack of hobbies. I don't do much else than internetting and gaming, though I would love to. I'd quite like to get into some Origami stuff, or join a gym, or learn a martial art, or even(not really a hobby, more of a life skill :P) learn to drive. I'm just too lazy and unmotivated however, and quite happy to do nothing. I spend alot of time just thinking, I like to think, and just philosophise my own little opinions of life. I realise now though, I have told a lie, I do enjoy to read fiction(scifi/fantasy mainly probably) and comics. Having said that, isn't this a bit like that 'Spare Time?' thread?
