I just read Dante's post, this game seems like it's gonna be bloody awesome! I'm looking more forward to this than Galaxy. TYD was pretty awesome, I thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the slightly ridiculous story, and it sounds like this is gonna be better!

I actually quite liked The Hulk, and Daredevil, haven't seen Elektra or FF, but I did hear that FF was a bit on the pants side. I would have to disagree that Ghost Rider is the best marvel character, disagree muchly!

I'd say to try the lesser shops, places like asda and other supermarkets where you wouldn't normally go first for games. Someone I know preordered one from gamestation a few weeks ago, and he got it on wednesday just gone or something, but I dunno if he had to keep going in and checking or if they actually did ring him.

I really really shouldn't, but I keep reading this thread and getting more tempted to go out and buy this like tomorrow, especially after hearing asda have it for cheaper than anywhere else(disappointed at play.com, they usually sell stuff cheaper than Game). Do I potentially sacrifice my second year, just for this game? Maybe it'll spur me on the get my work done sooner, and get me looking forward to something, I've totally gotten over the fact it might not have a nice long life, given how awesome everyone seems to think it is! Isn't that thing with music stuff that seems to constantly pick out the same 'random' tracks because they aren't like proper random, just pseudo random or something like that, due to computers being logical they can't do random without some sort of random input, if that makes sense? It's quite fascinating, I imagine Supergrunch will know about it.

Yeah, that really annoyed me! I couldn't stand it at all! I dunno if anyone else has ever had this, but it's the only thing I'd say I've had with my wii that was slightly buggy(except MM locking up once) and its on TP, sometimes when I did a sword spin move, link wouldn't do it right away and the stuff near me would just keep on running into me sort of thing, but not causing damage, and then the spin would happen like 2-3 seconds after I'd actually done it.

Tonight I am going to bed late! Staying up to watch Sex Lives of the Potato Men, or whatever it's called, on at just gone 1 on channel 4(a film that come out a few years ago with Johnny Vegas and Mackenzie Crook aka Gareth from the Office).

I've never been much of a fan of ghost rider, and kind of not one of nicholas cage either(not an antifan, just indifferent), but then I found out he's really into his comics which is pretty cool, and he is a class actor so I would like to see this film. Apparently he has a ghost rider tattoo that they had to powder out when he was playing him in the film, hows that for some irony? Also, isn't Eva Mendes in this or something too? She's hot. Even more reason to see it!

I somehow stumbled across pictures this yesterday, but I forget why or how, I very much expected it to to be on page 3 of The Mirror today, as I keep seeing some slight occurence in Britney's life being reported there, but they had something else which wasn't about her for once! Having said that, one thing about her the other day was that she was apparently too fat, though she looked fine to me, guess thats the sort of thing encouraging the size zero style As for her being bald, my thoughts are something along the lines of meh.

I saw it yesterday, I was getting worried about halfway through that it was a bit too serious like, but the last half hour really really made it into a brilliant film, loved it! 'Did you tell him to cool off?' 'No, I didn't say anything actually...'

I went to see my mate's band play in the basement of The Venue, after seeing Hot Fuzz at the cinema. I got fairly drunk though I didn't really feel it last night, I'm feeling it now though . I've spent far too much money recently...

You guys are really firing me up for this game, I probably won't get it until next month though. Cube, how many hours would you say you've gotten out of it so far, it sounds like you've been playing it alot! For people after SD cards and readers, I found this on amazon(they dropped the price, I payed £9.99 ) It's a 2GB card for £8.22, and you can get a 17-in-1 card reader for like £7, and with both of them it's just over £15 so it qualifies for the free delivery too!

Well that's the first I've heard of any overheating errors, though my Wii does get rather warm. BGS, I remember I found a page once that I can't find anymore, and I think the guy had actually measured the power consumption of it in various states, and it was fairly accurate and low, I just wish I could find it again!

Thanks for the reply Cube, I feel like an idiot, I forgot it doesn't show when stuff disconnects, and so I assumed the wii was staying connected and just disconnecting and reconnecting for some reason every 10 minutes. Lillster, for electrcity usage I guess that depends on your modem, router and wii. Well, the wii apparently doesn't use very much, and mine has been left on since the 9th of december, because my mum saw the blue light and thought it was still on and turned it off in the morning. I forget the wii's power consumption, but you could probably find it from a quick google, it's something like 10W in standby? That's less than most energy saving light bulbs, and ALOT less than regular light bulbs(usually found from 40-100W). I tend to leave the router on all the time also, that takes up about 12.5W if I'm not mistaken? Yours may be different though. My modem plug says Output 10V, 1.2amp on it, so again if I've worked it out right, thats about 12W power consumption. As for the DoS stuff, I have no idea whats going on there.

This isn't actually a question about either, but it's more about your wiis. I noticed it a very long while ago, but have finally decided to ask if it happens to any of you as well. Basically, I use a wireless router and my wii connects to it, but whenever I look at my log, it seems that my wii(which is in wiiconnect24) disconnects and reconnects like every 8-12 minutes, does anybody have any idea why this is? I was gonna suggest it in my last post, but I didn't, but I was playing burnout revenge last night and they had it so I will; Helicopter by Bloc Party Revenge has some other good ones too, like Red Flag, On Top of the World, some other ones I like but can't remember.

From everything I've heard, this game was never going for realistic physics at all. Any hardcore players finished it yet? Got everything you can and done everything to be done?

Seems to me like you're beyond needing advice, it's blindingly obvious she likes you, and you two have been out twice already, so wouldn't that count as 'going out'? Of course, if you wish to actually have the label put on it, then you can bring it up, but I agree with the person who said to go with the flow, it all seems good to me!

Ok, slight Devil's Advocate here, but why are there no CPU players in vs? Also, why if there is no CPUs in vs, is there not up to 4 player support? Is it a possibility that maybe the Wii isn't actually all it's cracked up to be, and actually can't handle it? Is the motion sensing actually quite strenuous on its resources? Who knows, but I honestly can't think of any decent reasons for lack of CPU players AND no support for more than 2 players.

I remember I made a thread like this when it was new, now it's cool and everyone's jumping on the bandwagon. I WAS THERE FROM THE START! You missed last friday's? I'm not sure if/where/when there's a repeat, but I usually watch the first chance ones on E4(wednesday for ugly betty, 2 days early) in case I'm gonna miss it on friday, or something comes up. As it happens, something has actually come up for tomorrow.

I can understand with the jumping stuff for this game, but wouldn't racers be better suited for having the buttons face you and holding it out like steering wheel type thing? People who are playing it, or going to play it soon, could you keep a track of how much playtime you're putting into it, and let us know how long it takes you to like complete it and achieve everything? I'm gonna hold out for this, given money and time situations, but I'll fill in the gaps with some burnout revenge in the meanwhile.

I thought it probably did, given that it ran over the same sort of Live servers that were used for the xbox, it does run the same way right? I agree with Ant's post, I think Nintendo haven't so much gone head to head with 360 and PS3, rather produced something for a slightly different market, they're trying to tap the untapped, and if they succeed, well, they'll probably manage to garner some fanboy/girl/men/womens out of it, I remember I became a Ninty fan having had the SNES as my first ever console.

I'm gonna do something I really dislike to do, and usually dissapprove of, but I'm gonna try and get myself invited along with my mate on friday who's going to see it, I feel a bit unwanted given that he's mentioned it but not actually invited me, but I really wanna see it, and I'm going out with him in the evening anyway, so it might make it a little better. Is it better than SotD, or worse? Better than Spaced?
