Snap, when I did alevels it was basically a free AS(well, sort of, the alternatives weren't upto much, though one WAS a gcse in spanish, but a language from scratch in the space of a year? screw that amount of work). It replaced general studies from year 12, as that was only AS, then in year 13 we did critical thinking 2 periods a week, and one period a week I learnt some japanese to no sort of level at all. Anyway, I only got a D in it, but that is a whole extra AS at a D, at the time it seems like alot, and I guess it kind of is. A whole AS level. Total waste of time, me and my mate had just imported DSes, and spent most of it pictochatting and mario DSing under the tables, classic.

Seriously, anybody who can get a hold of this when it hits the internet, watch it. They're like some fucking secret mafia police, and that isn't an exaggeration. There was much in the documentary of the actual content and teachings about scientology, it mainly focuses on their ruthless methods of attempting to discredit any critics, in particular ones who call the 'religion' a cult. I tell you, that is some freaky worrying shit, and for anyone who saw it, feel free to discuss it here. EDIT:This thread is about the documentary and scientology's 'fair game' principles, which were quite evident throughout the documentary and not so much the religion itself. I had a bit of a terrible shodfest of an exam today, which I also detailed in MPotD, but as I love preaching my life to tinternets, I shall also post it here. I had an exam today. I sort of caned a couple of topics over the space of yesterday and this morning(not over the entire space admittedlly) they were object recognition and face processing. So, 10AM arrives, I get into the exam and guess what two topics aren't fucking on it?? Face processing and object recognition. I wanted to leave and cry. However, they have a silly rule you have to stay half an hour before leaving, and I was gonna leave after half hour(i tells ya, ALOT of people were leaving this exam early, whereas practically no one left the others early). Anyway, I stayed, made some shitarse essay that was a rambly piece of non-kind-of-essay-they-want crap, then moved onto the next question(we pick 2 out of 6). Amazingly, I spent an hour on the first one, then about 15 minutes sitting there wondering what else I could actually answer, and I managed to get a flood of stuff for the second question I chose, and I stayed til the end of the 2 hours. Despite all this, I felt rather good on the way home, and now! Glad I didn't leave, and I reckon I must have at least passed(its like 35 for a pass) which is better than failing! Also woooo for half hour rule, not silly after all. If I DO fail, I'm not going to be impressed. Theoretically however, I can fail 3 of these 6 exams and still get into the third year(provided I pass my miniproject). However, that is likely to land me with a pants degree, though I don't think I even care anymore.

lol, part of me did think 'the girl looks more manly than him!' harribo, were you also wearing lipstick? your lips look a bit too shiny... Whilst the giant penis was rather amusing, especially after the talk about harribo, I gotta say my favourite of the last few is Strider's rather James Bondy look!

I'm bumping this thread, because I think it needs a bumping. I downloaded both the albums(there is a link to the older one there) and I am rather impressed with them. Maybe it's because this music is intended as free, maybe it's just something that fills the sound I'm into right now, but whatever, this is good stuff. I listen to it on the way from and to uni, although I prefer the older one A Project Called Red(and have listened more to, as the DS has an issue with the newer album). People should download this, it's good stuff. Twozzok probably gave the best answer, it's a bit varied from song to song. I reckon you'll really like the first album.

I watched it, I liked it, I agree a bit with Shorty up there. Having said that, they weren't the worst presenting duo ever, and some of it did have me quite amused, and it was followed by double Spaced.

Prevention is better than whatever that saying is. Whenever you go out drinking, when you come home, have a minimum of 3 pints of water, maybe more, drink as much water as you can. I dunno if it works or not, but I can personally say that I've found if I have alot of water before I sleep after drinking, it greatly reduces how crappy I feel the next day.

That's raw, defo complain about that. Did you lose any money, like for the test or whatnot? Even if you didn't, still complain, cos that's a bitch and a half. In fact, steal a car and drive through the place, making sure you hit him(so he's like wedged under the car, obviously), then brake sharply so it's a real noisy squeaky breaky sound, then fling open the door then say 'How do you like my driving now bitch?!' then run away. Fast. Oh yeah, remember to make some sort of 'in your face!' gesture at him when you say it, just before running away. Also, make sure he's nicely wedged under the car, but conscious so it has full effect. If he isn't wedged under properly, he may get out with a clipboard and humourously stop you in your tracks by ticking a box and calmly saying 'Failed.'

Maybe it's a little late now, but for tonight, cut all the distractions. A bed should be a bed, and used for sleeping. Don't be in bed using your computer, or watching TV, be in a nice quiet room with the light off, and don't go to bed too early. Well, that's what the experts say, I disregard most of that. If you're trying to sleep though, just keep at it, I usually just lie there and focus on the sound of my own breathing, and eventually I find myself waking up after a nice bit of sleep!

I fell asleep earlier without realising/intending to. Now I've just woken up to my TV, light, and laptop being on, so now I'm up, but I should sleep again soon...

I've actually just checked those out. The in favour of one is limited to just showing numbers, it's still growing steadily, but so is the one against, and at a greater rate too! I wonder if she's paid a load of monkeys to make up signatures on her petition...

Wow, I have skimmed through the last few pages of this topic and this game does sound rather good! If anyone finds it at a bargain price anywhere(£20 like excitetruck please? ) let me know! Forget it then, as far as I'm concerned she's treated you like a bitch, and if you start off like this it's not going to stop. You have two choices, you can try your darndest to get back with her, and live a half lie, which is fine if you can live with that fact. The other option is Flink's suggestion, just move on and forget about her, you're young, and it was only 2 months, forget about her and find someone better, which you will, because not every girl is like that. There are some good ones out there.
