  1. Ahh, I saw like the last 40 min of the omnibus, but that clears things up a bit more. It's like monday-wednesday I was more missing out on, I can't believe it. I can't believe clare is still alive neither! I found A website, it seems to have a very very brief summary of next week, and two weeks ago, but not in between grrr!
  2. Noooooooooo! I missed the goddamn omnibus! Please please please can someone either sum up the week's events, or link me to somewhere that does?
  3. I'm bloody brilliant.
  4. 'If I was you I'd get that booger of your jacket before it freezes up and scratches ya' Nil point to the person who knows what it's from without googling. It's not exactly my favourite ever film line, but it's one that came to mind that I always remember(probablywrongly) me and my brother used to find it well funny, and used to say alot. I'm seconding LazyBoy as well, as I watched Pulp Fiction just the other day and it's brilliant. I leave this post with one more line, 'Maybe I build her a cake.'
  5. Damn! I've seen ads for holloaks all week, but not actually seen any hollyoaks! I missed monday and tuesday's, so I didn't want to pick up wednesday's. I just have to remember to catch the omnibus on the weekend! Random fact about warren's hot sister, her real life sister is dawn from eastenders.
  6. Being a 90s child basically, I'd say I liked the 90s. Very good on the gaming front, once the biggest part of my life, growing up you'd never see me without a game in my hand, I'm surprised I turned out so normal! However, I kind of wish I was in the 80s, I dunno why. I like alot of music from the 80s, I reckon it would have been a pretty funky time to be around plus the games industry was kicking off with the NES and stuff, so it wouldn't have been all bad. Funny thing is though, I'd like to have been both a kid in the 80s, and a young adult in the 80s like. That sums my thoughts up much better
  7. Ran it on my shiny new vista laptop which is really pissing me off. I closed pretty much every app running that I could, anyhoo, here are my results. I might try it out on my sister's laptop and my computer later to see how it compares, I'll post their results too if I do.
  8. Ok thanks, I'm gonna try that and if it still isn't working I'm just gonna give up on the thing, it's not as important as all this damn hassle. Thanks for your help everyone.
  9. That's the thing, it IS installed and I know it works, because there's some Acer orbicam software that lets you take pictures off it, so it definitely works, I just can't find anything that I'd be able to use for video capture off of it. Thanks for the Easycleaner McPhee!
  10. I saw an advert for this the other day as I went past something on a bus, and I was very very confused for a while. I didn't even know he had prostate cancer, I thought he died of a heart attack or something. Was a bit weird, was wondering if it was all cleared, or if it even needs to be! The poster I saw though, just...it seemed so bob monkhouse.
  11. People who say stuff with nothing to back it up, and then go back on it and contradict themselves a few minutes later and don't seem to realise they're doing it. People who don't take the time to think and consider things, and people who are totally shut off to new ideas and opinions. Just to mention a few! I REALLY hate people who tell stupid little unneccessary lies. If people decide to lie to me, they best to a fucking decent job of it because if I find out I will not be happy at all. I can't stand it, why even lie? I'm talking stupid little lies, like claiming you didn't take or move something when you did, and even then after denying it when the evidence is staring you in the face! It really really pisses me off, I find it insulting.

    Fate

Kind of believe in fate, I have a similar outlook as the bad karma of My Name Is Earl(reading about karma on wikipedia the other day, it isn't actually quite like that apparently) but yeah, I think I should try and do good things and be nice to people and then good things will happen to me in turn. It also helps me keep my mind, because when bad things happen I think 'sure, happened for a reason' and 'something good will happen to balance things out'. It works for me, and keeps me happy Now I have deja vu, didn't Flink make a thread about this a while back?
  13. I have quite a few, I used to write them down when I woke up, but I got lazy. Worrying though, over the last few nights, I seem to be getting shot alot in my dreams
  14. Lol, they're talking about this game on The Wright Stuff!
  15. I haven't read the whole thread, only the first post, but that sounds very much like what I learnt about anxiety disorders in the form of anxiety/panic attacks. I'm not entirely sure what causes it, but I believe after a while the anxiety comes due to a fear of anxiety, causing a terrible circle where you fear fear itself. You definitely need to go and see your doctor about it, I'm pretty sure you'd be able to get some much needed counselling on the NHS, which should help the problem alot. I can see it as warranted too, it's clearly affecting your everyday life. EDIT: Actually after reading Hellfire's post, I'm more convinced it's IBS, cos he's had first hand experience
  16. I'm with Bard on this one, it isn't good at all to think about or dwell on your regrets, forget about them. Either that or think about them and post here, to find yourself bringing them all back up and getting annoyed. I've got my fair share of regrets, but it's in the past and I can't change them, so meh, bringing them up will only make me feel worse.
  17. Nope, tried that and it didn't come up with it as a device. In fact it told me that I have no device. I know it's there, and I know it works, and I assume that I should be able to capture video from it! It's an Acer Orbicam, and I'm still convinced it runs through a USB connection somehow, though it's all internal like.
  18. What a dude, happy birthday man!
  19. No, he's a rich vigilante hero. He is not super, because he has no superpowers. I always thought it to be fairly obvious, but it doesn't mean he isn't a hero.
  20. I'd like to think I'm a forgiving person, what's the good of holding a grudge? I don't see where it will get you, other than make you bitter. I believe everyone should be allowed to make mistakes, and they should be forgiven for them, but not if they make the same mistake twice. In that case, depending on circumstances, I may or may not forgive them. I say this, but I haven't had anything particularly major happen that I could hold a grudge over, I've done somethings which lead to people hating me, and remember at the time wishing they'd give me a chance to explain or such. In such a case, by the same token, I'd like to be forgiven. If I did the same thing twice? Well, then I guess they're free not to forgive me. I won't bother to waste my time with someone who keeps screwing up though, I'll try not to hold a grudge, but I won't make any effort either.

    Accents

I talk alot, so arguably love the sound of my voice, but I hate hearing it on a recording or something. As for what kind of accent I have? Well, of course, I'd say I don't have one! I guess, being as I was born and raised here, it'd be a south east london kind of accent. Bit like what McMad described, I miss t's in words. I do quite love a posh kind of english accent, recieved pronounciation is it? Non english, italian and french accents are pretty cool, and greek actually...and maybe spanish. I love meeting people with different accents!
  22. As Shorty said, the 100Mbps on the connection status is the computer - router connection, basically how fast data can transfer between the two. As for those speeds, those are most definitely less than even 1Mb! Are there any sort of conditions associated with your 8Mb package that would affect whether or not you get top speed? Secondly, does anyone else share the same connection? If someone else was using alot of the connection at the time you tried the speed test, I believe the results would be affected, though that'd be quite a drastic effect for 8Mb.
  23. haha, my setup was poor on easy, I didn't think to do it like you guys, but I think my score speaks for itself
  24. "Being thin doesn't automatically mean you're not fat" http://health.uk.msn.com/healthencyclopaedia/features/article.aspx?cp-documentid=5248959 Personally, I am one of those people, and this article just kind of made me feel rather bad about myself! I guess it makes sense, but it's...weird! It's a bit worrying too, makes me wanna lay off the beer and do a bit more excercise. Of course, I probably won't, far too lazy for that
  25. Is it just me, or is there alot of people turning a bit psychotic in Hollyoaks these days? Craig, Amy's dad, Warren(though he was a little on that side already). I'm glad the truth is out about Josh, but I still think Amy's dad is a tit. As for the whole craig/john paul storyline, I thought it was half good, except the whole bit where craig started acting weird. Has anyone been watching it lately?
