  1. I don't understand WHY nintendo are so reluctant to just make it a non-limited feature! Maybe it's an issue of code cracking, people working in shops registering loads of stuff then cashing in for tons of points, or that they're just a big bunch of gayfaces, but it's incredibly silly. Maybe they're just worried about losing revenue, and think people only cash in for the points to buy a game they want, so if the cards are sold out, people'll pay for the points and buy it instead? (btw, for anyone having trouble with the shop channel, apparently the wii has problems with some routers' WPA setting, which I found out on christmas after trying to send a present for 2 hours, then finding it buried in the error code help)
  2. Looks pretty freakin' awesome, and the guy who did it seemed like a fairly cool guy too. Only problem is, if Nintendo were to implement it, can anyone say law suit? I thought that's the general idea for not directly implementing consumer ideas? EDIT:Checked out his site, he's got couple other wiimote tricks which are cool. I should think any peripherals using this tech would be cheap, as it doesn't really require much in the way of expense, considering wii owners will already have wiimotes.
  3. Cheers, I used it earlier, took me ages to manage to do it right, dunno what I was doing wrong, but I tried it about 12 times, when it finally worked, I had to go do something else! >_< Does it just unlock the co-op tracks, or all tracks including bonus? I went a bit crazy eariler and just bought every track in the shop, so I've got alot to keep me entertained while I carry on being stuck.
  4. Well, I havent been here for a while, nor played GH3 for a while, I'm still going through medium, just finished Live in Japan, but mainly on 3*s because the h/o's and p/o's just mess me up totally, can't handle it at all. I've also just played my first 2 online things ever, first a 3 song co-op with me doing medium bass, and him hard guitar, mucho fun. Then right after cookyman challenged me, and I played the same deal with him 3 songs but medium on both. I loved it, but I hadn't realised there was extra songs in co-op, and I got foolishly excited at the sight of bloc party and chose it. Jesus, my hand is still panging now from trying to strum like 200 notes in a row, so sorry Cooky, I hadn't realise it was that bad :P I missed quite a few notes in all the songs too, I don't think I've played any of them before, plus I was half looking at your side too :p Thanks for the game, there's something strangely happymaking about co-op...*goes and bounces around*
  5. There seems to be a fair bit of raving about Gusty Gardens, sure it was nice, but I don't quite see what all the fuss is about with it?
  6. Aww, I had a request from The Cooky but it was just as I was going into my medium Tom Morello battle and I was all pumped up from 5starring barracuda, then when I went to see if the match was still there it was gone. I set up another for a few minutes, but then had to depart anyway. I did manage to beat Tom though, so that's good What's with all the multiplayer options when setting up a match, and what's the differences between them(well, i guess co-op is obvious, but what's a face-off and pro face-off?)?
  7. Bucky...Captain Bucky O'Hare! *doo doo doo* My mate lent me a vid of a couple year ago, was it wrong that I thought the cat lady was kinda hot, for a cartoon? I remember I had one of those konami handhelds of it too, which brings me onto a whole other topic. Who remembers konami handhelds? We had Bucky O'Hare, Turtles I and Skate or Die, and my cousins had Turtles II, Star Trek(25th anniversary one looking at the page), and something else I think. A link to a page with all of them. http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Konami/index.html They were awesome, a bit game and watch stylee in that they had the lcd things over a printed background like. EDIT:Got the opening for Bucky O'Hare! http://youtube.com/watch?v=uI6GW7y8PMc
  8. Haha, that'd be well good, like in those scifi movies where suddenly everything's different with no explanation at all, only it'll have happened to everyone! I reckon they'll clock on though, given the fact you're ruling the entire world, but how would they prove you wrong without the watch?
  9. By your mother. (as for my opinions, I'd say caught having a wank)
  10. Woof was brill, and aquila though it seemed to dissappear one day, knightmare and crystal maze are classics. Dunno the other, and of course I know Bernard's Watch, though I was a bit old for it at the time(still loved it). Back in the day, CITV definitely had the upper hand(zzzap was wicked, fun house was legend with old pat sharp and the mullet!), though cbbc has had its fair share of good stuff, mainly the drama-ery things like Queen's Nose, Five Chidren and It, UNCLE JACK, Demon Headmaster, Agent Z and the Penguin from Mars and so forth. As for the Gogos/Crazy Bones, the things I have look kinda like them, only slightly differently coloured.
  11. Assuming I don't age, and that stuff I use will work. I'd do some of the aforementioned things in the thread, would love to nab people's food just as they're about to take a bite, but replace it with something else. I'd probably be quite a loser and actually use the time to read some books and stuff, learn about things, maybe even do lots of excercise(bodybuild! would be fun to unpause time and suddenly be proper bulked out). I'd walk/ride to lots of places too, rest when I get there, then unpause time and enjoy things! Would you walk to another country/place, if you could do it without any time passing, except for yourself, would be quite a hefty feat and no one would know you did, or believe it! Assuming I could commit the crimes, I'd go round stealing £1 from every single person I can, making myself incredibly wealthy, and the rest of the world just that tiny bit poorer. I'd move stuff too while I'm at it, it's always fun to prank on people
  12. Mine was sent sunday and arrived yesterday afternoon, didn't bother tracking it along the way seeing as how I had the copy from woolies, gonna take it back on that reciept soon. Man, medium is still pretty hard for me, though I managed to 5 star something unexpectantly(like the second song, talk dirty to me, story of my life?) but I gotta say, it's really taking its toll on my fretting hand, and I actually find I'm not extreme enough to stand and do them(doing much better sitting down for some weird reason). I am not looking forward to hard or expert, but I guess it means the game will have a long lifespan for me :p
  13. Oh my god, completed Easy(got 90% notes hit on Dragonforce first try after practising in credits) but then tried the first song on medium and it is so weird to do! It's totally screwed me over, I gotta do everything different! Man, I just hope I manage to adjust, god knows what hard and expert'll be like!
  14. There's a 20p bigger bag, when I told my mate he refused to believe it wasn't a bigger bag I'd bought. I wonder if they've put that up as well actually... Dante, when were they even 5p? They've been 10p since as long as I can remember! What's all this nonsense about penny sweets being 2p too? My local newsagent guy still sells most of his stuff for a penny, though they do seem a bit smaller...
  15. I'm a terrible driver. Well actually, my driving isn't too bad in my opinion, but my problem is that I can be quite hesitant, and then it leads to some silly mistakes. I've had about 45 hours of lessons already, and got my test in 2 and a half weeks. As I said, I think my actual driving isn't too bad, though I don't like carriageways much, and roundabouts are a bit tricky(cos of people who give bad signals, or none at all! Which is why I'm hesitant in my driving), but what really lets me down is my manouvres, if I fail my test, I imagine I'll fail on those, I'm just really shit at judging things and sometimes reading the road well. Hopefully I'll pass first time though, otherwise I'm just gonna give up
  16. They seriously got Freddos too? This is unbelieveable, next we'll have 10p penny sweets! I remember Curly Wurlys, though I wasn't the biggest of fans of them. I say bring back nerds and dweebs!
  17. Seriously, what is wrong with the world today? Things are getting worse ever minute, it's been happening for a while now, this beautiful world of ours slowly falling into decline, but today, today I witnessed something truly terrible, and utterly unbelievable. I was on my way to uni, skipped breakfast, so I popped into my local newsagents to get a crispy snack to replace it, went for my standard package, but as I approached the shelf I saw something incredibly horrible :shakehead :shakehead ! SPACE RAIDERS HAVE GONE UP TO 15P! Many a time have I curbed my hunger pangs with this essential schoolboy snack, handy for killing off that loose change in your pocket, but today is a very sad day for me. Feel free to use this thread to recall your fond memories of this tasty economical snack, while we all mourn our terrible terrible loss. EDIT: Damn phone camera, i thought the pictures were smaller than that! Excuse this thread if it's a bit irrelevant, but I am half serious, I really am quite shocked by this.
  18. Absolutely no basis for this at all, but I was under the impression it might be a score related thing, of course, hitting streaks is helpful to get the multiplier up, then using the old star power on a nice string of them to rack up the points. Of course, I'm basing this off nothing at all. Speaking of scores and stuff though, does using the whammy bar affect them, or is it just there for effect? EDIT:Answers to your Groupies questions, I think.
  19. I'm 8 minutes late, but I wanted to say Happy Birthday to you for being cool anyway, so I'm going to. Happy Birthday!
  20. I haven't even tried medium yet, just playing through easy career atm. How many people here actually use hammer ons and pulls offs? I don't at all, I don't even use multiple frets, I think it's starting to catch up with me though, there's some tricky bits on Metal(just battled Slash on easy, found him easier than Tom).
  21. I'm surprised I only remember half the things in this thread. But these crazy bones things, does anyone have a picture of what they actually look like individually? In primary school there was a newsagent on the way, and for 20p you got this little figure thingy(from a 20p machine, like the kind what do bouncy balls), I started off a minicraze in my class with them. Found them all recently too, though I seem to have lost like my 3 favourites, someone probably jacked them back in the school days. EDIT: Just read EEVIL's post, Gogos is what we used to call them, but I dunno who pointed that out as their name, or if they're actually the things in question.
  22. Do you connect up to WFC every time you start the game?
  23. I just noticed that too, what does it rank it by, total groupies? 109 of them are mine! :P
  24. Was playing earlier, got my stars and fought the boss of the Bedroom, when suddenly I find out I can go to some other place, so I went and it turns out to be the final final boss of the game, was a bit easier than I was expecting but quite fun, also a fair bit sooner than I was expecting. I guess now it's just upto to getting the other 55 stars... (oh yeah, finally found the secret one on dusty dunes too )
  25. I've been playing, gotten through about 15 songs so far on easy, I am totally loving it! I am a bit confused though, where exactly do I find my friend code? I've got an account on guitarhero.com, and linked it to my profile with that VIP code thingy, but still have no idea where to find my actual FC, am I overlooking something blindingly obvious? EDIT: Yes, yes I did overlook something blindingly obvious. My FC is 5283-9824-6397, PM me if you add me.
