  1. Ankles on knees? I wasn't sure if I do that, then I tried, and it's a bit strenuous, and I realised I tend to put my knee OVER my ankle(like, tuck my ankle under the other leg). Also beginning to wonder if I sit in the leg thigh cross position at times without even noticing, I can imagine myself doing it when I'm in need of a wee but no oppurtunity to relieve myself.
  2. Yeah, they might have that game there though...erm, forgot it's name...what's it called? Brawl?? Is that it? I dunno...I don't think it's too well known at the moment...
  3. Hahaha, brilliant! I'm sorry sir, you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave! Who's gonna be our border guard/immigration control? EDIT:Would you believe, in my boredem I actually just drew myself a little mansion house in paint, complete with purple garage and black cat(i have neither irl).
  4. I'd go if it wasn't 3 days before my damn dissertation is due, goddamn it! Sounds kinda good, but the fact it's done by play.com makes me want to go even more, they've never done me wrong in the past and for some reason I feel alot of gratitude/loyalty to them.
  5. lol, nice! Tbh guys, I totally think Greenwich Park is better than Hyde Park. What's that you say? It happens to be alot closer to me too? Wow, I had no idea, let's go there anyway! I joke, I'm cool with Hyde Park, should be pretty nice sitting in the park, J7 should bring a pack of cards, and we could have epic DS tournaments in something I haven't considered. Having said that, is it weird I'd rather not be gaming and stuff, seeing it's in this supposed 'real world'? (we will totally be shoving it to Fox too, ha!) lol, you sneaky git!
  6. My mum was talking about the world ending soon the other day too, like if we could get wiped out like the dinosaurs. It was much sillier than that, but that's what you get with mums, they're ridiculous! Tbh, I'm not bothered, I'm more worried about the next 20-50 years, I wonder if I'll be alive in 50 years! That's a strange thought, I wanna be like Patrick and Jim(minus the stroke plz) from Eastenders if I am. I don't care for all these predictions much either, it's 8 years later and I'm still waiting on the Transformers.
  7. I am incredibly confused how I did not see that first time, especially given that it's written in big black font. :wtf: Ellmeister, not gonna be a long journey for you from Essex I imagine. I suck at london despite living so close to it, I know OF hyde park, but I've not been before. Any plans for the day from when we arrive? Naturally, with it being a park, I feel incredibly like some form of pickanicking(though my idea of a picnic is some bread, pringles, and cocktail sausages). EDIT: Just realised I might not be coming, given that I may in fact be going to FL for a wedding around then, though it's less likely than not.
  8. So what's happening with this meetup? We need like a first post that's edited with up to date info, cos 17 pages is alot to be trawling through. Basically, I wanna know if there is anything in or around London planned? I keep seeing references and mentions to it in other threads, so I thought I'd come and check this thread out, but it is quite long
  9. If I were in the position of wanting it, I'd...well, just that, I'd want it. I think it should be allowed, but there's the territory of being in sound mind that can cloud things somewhat. If I was suffering from a purely physical illness though, or anyone else for that matter, then I think 100% it should be allowed. Why not? It's their body, their life, I don't see why people argue against it in that case.
  10. Damn you Sony, damn you.
  11. How far/deep is this ring, and does the game not actually play at all, or what? I still say your best bet is Nintendo, I've heard they can be pretty nice to their customers sometimes and they might even repair things for free(it if's the Wii, that is). You chanced trying any other games yet?
  12. I noticed a lack of her lately, where/why'd she go? I used to be a bit of a partypoker-er, but then I got caught up in other things and uninstalled it from all the comps(the antivirus didnt like it much either). I still watch poker sometimes though, and I even won a How to Play Poker DVD from a five competiton a few months back.
  13. Tell Nintendo? Sounds like the Wii did it to me. How do you have your wii positioned, have you tried any other games or had it happen to them(I'd be scared to put anything else in tbh). What's the condition of your disc otherwise? You *could* try acting like the disc came like it, if it looks quite uniformly done, buy one from a shop, take it back a day later and say when you open it up you were all like wtf, get an exchange, then take it to another branch for a refund/resell it(alot of places don't refund games these days though). Trying to get a refund for a faulty off the bat is most unlikely to work, as it arouses suspicion. Tbh, I'm not sure how legal that is, and if anyone asked, you didn't hear it from me. Also, you might not get away with it, so you'll be lumped with an extra copy(which is cool anyway, cos surely you wanna keep playing?).
  14. You mean a royalty? :p Pray tell anyway! I know I mentioned card games the other day, but when I think of it now I can't remember very many. When we were little, our parents taught us some(I guess it's what they had growing up, sicne there weren't video games etc). I remember a game called Beat your neighbour, but I did then realise it was quite a boring game after a while. I, naturally, LOVE Rummy, and poker too though I've never really played it too much(used to play like 5 card draw when I was little, without bets though, so half the fun gone). Blackjack is another classic, and a game I forgot the name of which I knew as blackjack before I knew of 21s as Blackjack, it's kinda like Uno really, where different cards do different things and you can only put down certain ones according to what just was. Cheat/Bullshit does all right for a while, then there's old maid/chase the ace, ahhh, it's all coming back to me now! I never really learnt GoFish I don't think. I remember one my mum sort of taught us called Trump or something, I can't remember jack all about it except there being a trump suit picked at the beginning of the game.
  15. I feel this has turned more into a discussion of the Bulger case, than what it was originally intended for, however, it's quite important and relevant to things. Firstly, nightwolf and others arguing for the harsh justice of the boys, before you'd heard about the case(or even now) to what extent would you have believed a 10 year old of killing or mistreating another human being in such a terrible way? Honestly, would you have? Secondly, I don't know what sort of scentence they served, if they did or not, and why not? Because they had to have their lives taken away and replaced in order to protect them from people who felt they went unpunished, or inaqequately so. What they did was unbelieveable, and so much so I think it was an exceptional case, I hope to god they were punished and served time for their crime. Thirdly, I forgot what I wanted to say here. What about all the witnesses maybe? There was 38 of them, 38 people saw the boys and Jamie, and not one of them intervened enough to stop them killing him, can any responsibility be put on their shoulders? The biggest issue with this case, is that it lends credance to the idea of diminished responsibility and leniency to people under a certain age, while I agree with some aspects of the outcome in this particular case, I think cases these days should be treated more harshly. Maybe I'm just being a hypocrite. EDIT: According to Wiki, they were given an 8 year sentence, then raised to 10, then raised to 15, then disputed and then the judge took two years off for good behaviour and signs of remorse, taking it back down to the original 8 year sentence. EDITEDIT: They're apparently now on life license.
  16. Tea please, PG Tips Pyramid bags, brewed strong. Rich Tea, the biscuit of champions. My favourite mug is my bigger spiderman mug I got with an easter egg last year, second to that is my slightly smaller spiderman mug I got with an easter egg from my aunt growing up(matching eggcup too), third is an even smaller spiderman mug I got with an easter egg at some other time too(from my aunt again). No sugar in my tea! Stopped taking sugar years ago, and I always put the milk in last, apparently if you put the tea into the milk something weird happens but I forgot what. The main reason I put milk into the tea is so it isn't too milky/weak for my liking.
  17. You mean crossed right at the top at the thighs? I don't sit like that, for the aforementioned reason of it being only for women, I do believe it was instilled upon me growing up hence why I do not, but I shall try it now and see how it feels! Strange, feels weird to do probably cos I never do usually(I cross my legs low down sometimes, but namely sit with my foot on opposite knee). My leg feels a bit boney somewhere that it digs into the muscle like, and mildly pinchy to my nether regions.
  18. I'd purchase Strider's services, I'm much classier than rape! Though I do like you r suggestion of darksnowman being water, as it made me think of him being the village's weather lol.
  19. Dude, welcome, the forums are much cooler than people in here have implied, you'll like it here(I hope). One of the better forums out there in terms of members and content
  20. Rummy

    Bye.

Aw, a shame, I'll remember AshMat as a good contributor to these forums, wish he hadn't done this(whatever it was, I take it his original post was edited? If anyone wanted to describe it to me in a PM...). I'll always remember him when I see that Half Life dude, seriously, AshMat is who I think of when I see him these days.
  21. I remember when I woke up this morning, I was confused as to how my dream could be so retarded. Well it wasn't retarded, but the fact I could be so retarded not to realise it as a dream, however I can't remember it at all now. I remember some silly circumstances that should have made it obvious, then I came up with a theory that when we're asleep it's only our minds and it can't engage the emotion so we find it hard to tell what's real or not, or something. I was quite proud of myself at the time, but I've forgotten most of that too. In other news, still not done any work, but I don't feel as bad as I did yesterday about it.
  22. Lol, I considered the more than one choice button, then thought I'd force you all to choose as I too have a tough time choosing, you should share my pain! Damn straight and hats off to you, we used to get it when we went on holiday(at the airports). I can't for the life of me understand why the hell shops don't stock it, I found it in woolworths a year or two back, but they only sell smaller sized bars and seem to always be out of the hazlenut ones A sensible tart, who'd ever say no to chcolate?! Though you just lost yourself points for liking coffee chocolates. *shakes head*
  23. The Jamie Bulger case, I take it? I heard alot about it, though I don't really know alot about it, weren't they both under 14 though? I think the argument presented was diminished responsiblity of not knowing what they were doing/realising the full consequences of their actions. That's the same sort of argument presented for people under 18 at the moment I believe, which is why they get lighter sentences. I think it should only apply to those under 14, and even so, crimes should be punished for people over 10.
  24. I currently use cheap imitation nutella from asda(i actually consider it a little superiour, it's not as think and lasts longer), but I shall take your recommendation and eat it! I forgot to add truffle and praline to the list, I meant to, I kept forgetting though. I'm not even very sure what they are, like what makes it a praline or a truffle, but I know they're both well nice. Guylian ftw!
  25. We've had the drinking thread, we've had the smoking thread, we've had the sex thread, we've had all the threads and I think it's high time we had a chocolate thread. So, make a choice and choose your side, and generally discuss all manner of chocolate related deliciousness here. Inspired by eating some toblerone single thingies. Personally, I'm a plain/dark man(with nuts preferably), milk's a bit standard, I like the change in white chocolate, but if I eat too much it makes me feel a bit ill. Nuts are always a bonus, and orange too, then mint! What about chocolate boxes(rose, quality street, celebrations?), post your favourites!
