For those who read about me and my adventures in buying a car on ebay last night, I spoke to the guy earlier and he *seems* all right, so I'm feeling a little more at ease about it. Before I had a decent phone that could do tones like this, I remember hearing someone get a text with the big chest sound, made my day(and only like 3 of us got it). I used the inspiration to do it for myself when I got my new phone with the small chest, but I've changed it to something else now. To be precise, my text tone is a really good Gnarls Barkley's Crazy/Steady as She Goes mashup, and my ringtone is some old school 21 seconds by So Solid Crew, and the theme from Desmonds whenever someone from my family rings me. Vicar, have some Daft Punk as your ringtone!

I don't think it's particularly right or fair, but it IS their network to do with as they please, and it especially applies if it's the same network extended to all public computers. Having said that, I don't think my uni filters anything on the public comps, though I've never really looked.

i WAS gonna get work done today, but didnt do much any, then got invited to a house party and my mate came back from uni to the area and so he picked me up around 5ish, drove to the shop where we bought drink, ended up back at his til around half 8(though we were gonna go much earlier to the party). However, I've had my eye on a car on ebay for the last few days, and with some pressure/encouragement from him and his family, I only went and fucking bid on it. Not only did I bid, but a second last minute bid of £602.00p at ~8pm won me the auction on this car I've never seen. I bought a motherfcuking car on motherfucking ebay, and I'm still a little shocked. I then proceeded to get drunk at the party, but man, a fucking car!! Everyone I've told since is all like 'you bought a car without looking at it?!" or saying it's gonna be sold by pikies(it's well known pikies are around 10 mins from dartford town centre) and all this shit, and now I'm half bricking it that it'll turn out crap Seriously, what the fuck have I done.

I've liked it as it was(as may be evident from my numerous BISHes), I got a little panicked by some people's good starts so it spurred me on, but activity dropped off(i expected loads of 20th newspapers!) and I dunno if there'll be enough for a league game. Having said that, if there's another round right after, I'm going to have to miss out on it, only 3 and a half weeks til my dissertation deadline now.

Just thought I'd point out by 'they' I meant Daft Punk themselves, I've read a little about Interstella 5555 somewhere before I think. I'll look into it at some point, when I'm finished with my dissertation, I'd like to hear some more Daft Punk really.

Haha Sooj, is it possible to find ANY bollywood film that isn't going to be classified as a musical? I have seen Devdas though, quite a good film despite being super long(even by Bollywood standards). Now I think what J7 is saying is why I like Blood Brothers so much, and dislike We Will Rock You, the songs in Blood Brothers aren't too crazy really, and with its overall themes and stuff, it feels like it's still got quite a good and realistic grounding. So I think anyway, some might not agree with me.

I gotta agree with one good point Intensity raised about Kanye West and one reason I liked his songs(i bought some old school rap when i was first discovering music, so it left a bit of an impression on me I guess) is that he doesn't do the whole gangsta thing, he's not rapping about guns and hos and all that like alot of other guys, and it's one thing I think that makes his music stand out for me. It's also a reason I liked Will Smith when he was making music, why can't rap be like it used to be, clean and clever rhymes about your average everyday things? I guess this is getting more into a discussion about rap than originally intended though. As for Intersella 5555, I do believe I've heard of it before, they're pretty big in Japan aren't they? I feel like I've seen an anime clip of them too... *runs up and pushes Dyson off the fence*

I kinda felt the same when I read it, a few people seem to care more about the artist than the song, and whilst I've heard stuff about what an arse Kanye himself can be, I rather like alot of his songs regardless.

One reason I like blood brothers is the songs don't feel too forced, they're just story in good song form, and it's all just fantastic. Whatever...GAYS. Not seen alot of musicals(well, I've seen filmn version musicals actually, and grease, joseph, starlight express and cats as a kid, but I don't really remember them). I also seen We Will Rock You, though it was good enough, I didn't like it cos it was basically a poor excuse for showcasing Queen songs imo. Anyway, I'm gonna take up championing an underdog, but it's one of the best things I've ever seen, maybe cos it's more down to earth than most of the others, and whilst I've only seen it twice(one with Anthony Costa in lead) I'd glady see it it again. So my vote goes to the most excellente Blood Brothers by Willy Russell, and I think you should all go see it if you get the chance!

Wow, you guys are pretty cool for doing that, as I know it's gonna be a long time before and if ever I give blood, as I've got a bit of an issue with blood and needles, wouldn't be able to be doing it on a regular basis. However, when I die, I'd be all up for bits of me going to new homes if it'll help people.

I'm watching the latest ep atm instead of doing something sensible like sleeping. Tony just found Michelle in the toilets, and the stalker is fucking crazy, creeped me out more than I expected, probably because she was more 'normal' than I was expecting. All finished, good episode actually, nice ending. Looking much more forward to next week's episode though, Sid was one of my favs from the first series, and apparently it's got a few good guest stars too.

I'm not sure the point of all this, and those things damn well hurt my brain, but Mundi's was made of superwin, I loled.

I'm not really saying there's no new stuff, or not enough, I just don't get why there's so much old stuff! In fact, I don't know why I even care anymore, but some part of me finds it incredibly annoying.
