Gamespot are clearly anti-Wii. Anyone who has reads on here regularly will know that although I'm a longtime Nintendo fan, I'm also a Wii sceptic, however after reading all the reviews and info on Wii, everyone seems to like the new controls... except Gamespot. They are just bashing everything. The Red Steel review was awful, I can't remember one positive thing they picked up on about it! This is journalism at its worst. As for Gears of War getting a 9.6, that Jeff is just a total loser, maybe all the attention he is getting from this ridiculous 8.8 score is somehow making up for the fact he is a fat ugly virgin.

Of course they did it for attention. This silly man is just some fat net geek who's probably a virgin, and he wants some attention. Gamespot have hit an all time low, this has really annoyed me. Look, Gamespot are trying to make a name for themselves and get noticed. These are the people that praised PD0, batter Mario Kart, and seem to give perfect scores to a Tony Hawks game. Wankers.

I still don;t think any of the reputable sites have reviewed Red Steel have they? As for Zelda, it was always gonna be the best game EVER lol I reckon it will live up to everyone's hype, however there will still be some cock who rates it between 1 and 4 over on a reader review on Gamefaqs, just to get themselves noticed.

Rayman scored 8.3, why is that disappointing? For what is essentially just a collection of mini games I think it looks pretty good, plus I think the graphical style is really good and it looks quite fun.

Hahaha, that's even better. I actually have a strange urge to track this game down just so I can experience it. I doubt it'll be out on the Virtual Console though!

I hope the UK ad is building to soemthing better, cause frankly, I reckon it's crap! It showed nothing at all.

Zelda will get great scores all round, but it's more than just magazine scores that make a game an all time classic, or in the case of OOT the greatest game ever. A lot of it is down to the fans, I always take into account IGN and Gamespot, I don;t really care much for other gaming site reviews. However I do regularly read the Gamefaqs user reviews, because that's what the average guy thinks.

Oh dear, one final question I have, why the hell was the sky bright purple? I had a great quote from one of the developers about how the game was the best thing ever, I'll try and dig it out lol

I'm pleased someone else has love for Wave Race, I adore that game, although it seems to get a bad rap from a lot of people.

I despise Edge's po-faced reviews. They gave both Goldeneye and PD 9/10!!! They absolutely hate giving 10s out. They'll do anything NOT to give Zelda a 10

Because I'm an extremely naughty boy I want to CPS Shock and followed their decoding of the CPS2 games, I then sampled all the original street fighter 2 games, wow! Still today they're the best one on one beat 'em ups. Even modern day classics like Soul Calibur 2 can't touch them.

Exactly, non of us want Wii games to be rubbish, but if they are then there's no point trying to hide it! And yeah, Excite Truck looks like total shite, I was playing F-Ze5ro GX today, and that looks so beutiful, it puts Excite Truck to shame.

This is widely regarded as probably THE worst game of all time. However how many people here have played it? I really want to, just to see how bad it really is!

Wham! Tell it like it is! Zelda score is a hard one to call, IGN will give 9.9 or 10, Gamespot hmmm they are not very consistent in their scoring.

No I read it, and I looked at it as a whole, from the poor graphics, right through to the fact they said: "The controls are easy to wrap your mind around, but they never feel very responsive." Ultimately they said the controls gave it potential, but the whole thing fely more like a tech demo. You can trawl through the review as trying to pick out positive points if you wish, but I didn't pick up on that many.

It does look lovely though, I'm more interested in the new Crystal Chronicles, I hope they use the same beautiful style, just add more story telling and flesh it out into a real RPG game, even if it keeps the real time combat

Well, on the Zelda issue, you know some people are just going to be gunning for this title, they'll pan it whatever just to make a name for themselves. I think Gamespot are usually a little harsher than IGN, but they are still the only two sources on the net I trust. I've just read the Excite Truck review and it is rather negative, but hey - what if it is just a poor game? What if the Wii-mote controls aren't the greatest thing ever? What if they don't take us to the next level and are just a gimmick? I'm not saying that is the case - but what if? They were also very scathing about the graphics - this looks like a nother game where no one really tried in that department. As for CoD, it's a little disheartening that the XBOX 360 version scored a whole point more in the review, IGN cited certain problems with the control system.

I usually take a look at both IGN and Gamespot, with a glance at the reader reviews on Gamefaqs. EGM is total wank.

Well one will come out on top, both Blu-ray and HD won't survive together, one will surpass the other, I really hope blu-ray flops!

Agreed, it looks like a childish spin off of a classic series. What a let down.
