Yep. Saw it last night and thought it was fantastic. Was a bit skeptical about it before it started because of all the issues it has during development, but it was generally great. I do with they could have spent more time on the other members of the band though. The parts about Mercury were good, and the actor who played him was amazing, but the best parts were the little moments and banter between the other three guys.

That's pretty good, but just makes me feel a bit sad for the Gamecube.

I think I enjoyed the experience of playing on the handheld Switch more than I did enjoy the actual game itself. Can't see myself ever replaying it all again, but then I rarely do.

Seeing it Tuesday hopefully, really looking forward to it!

Anywho, beat the game again on Ultimate. It was surprisingly quick to get through. Pretty much the only hard bit was the last boss, mainly because it stops you spamming the focus boost suit power, and starts you back at the beginning of the fight each time you die rather than saving phases. Can't be arsed to start the DLC, might have a go next week sometime.

I donated my copy of SMB1 to my cousin, as I had SMB2, and thought those minigames would suffice. Sadly, Monkey Target and Race just aren't as good in the second one.

Also, if you add up all the download shares, you get more than 100%... It also said on that blog that the downstream value is higher on PSN, meaning a larger amount of game downloads, but the total number of connections on XBL was higher, meaning more people were connecting to the service.

Watching Season 2 of Making a Murderer - it's so good!

Bought the Season Pass today, and would start the first bit of DLC after work, but I find myself doing something I thought I'd never do.... completing the game again straight afterwards. It annoyed me that they added two more trophies so now my game completion percentage isn't at 100%. So I started a NG+ on Ultimate difficulty to try and get them both at once. It's surprisingly quick to beat the game when you only do the story missions. All the side quests and collectables add so much time on that you don't realise how quickly you can progress through the story. It's also stupidly easy, even on the hardest difficulty, when you have all the gadgets and suit powers unlocked already. Hopefully I can power through fairly quickly and get started on The Heist.

Phase 2 took ages to come out as a complete set after all the film's had been released individually. This one will probably be the same. I'm assuming they want as many people to relent and buy them each singularly, rather than wait for the boxset.

Is that really the cover art? It looks like it was made with ClipArt! What the hell is that thing supposed to be? Can you play as the blue watery goblin in the game?

I finally completed this over the weekend, and got the Platinum trophy for it yesterday. I absolutely loved it - definitely my favourite game of the past couple of years, and may even have moved into my top 10 of all time. Anyway, 9/10, would buy again.

For realz though, I loved the GameCube. Took a photo of my collection before I put it into the loft earlier this year. Loads of awesome games in here: Melee, Spider-Man 2, Harvest Moon, Simpson's Hit and Run, Timesplitters 2, SSX Tricky, Wario Ware Inc, etc. All brilliant.
