Playstation Store January Sale

Ive got to admit, despite knowing that certain 3DS games would absolutely be worth buying im always put off by the price of them, especially when it comes to games that have been out for a while. I keep meaning to buy Super Mario 3D Land but just dont want to pay full price for an older game.

No that's just for digital US titles. I've got an imported copy of P4G and it runs fine.

Yeah I started off pretty terrible. As soon as you start upgrading though it gets easier.

Been playing loads of Volgarr the Viking and Rogue Legacy over the past few days. Both are excellent games and well worth buying.

I need to add Volgarr the Viking to my list somewhere. I was gifted it over Steam yesterday and played it all today, its great fun and really difficult.

Got an email from ShopTo offering me a coupon to get Assassin's Creed IV for £39.85 because I bought my PS4 from them. Might have to take them up on that if I dont get it for Christmas.

Pretty much. The only thing levelling up really does that I know of is raises your friend cap. Personally I just sell off all the trading cards I get on the marketplace and use the credit I get to buy more games.

Yeah it is, but to be fair it does happen on both sides. You also get the Nintendo fans claiming that the other consoles are just shooters etc. Anyway I havent had a chance to play A Link Between Worlds yet as its on the list of possible Christmas presents this year so I couldnt buy it but from what I hear it would certainly deserve a game of the year award. Im looking forward to playing it and thats coming from someone who has never really embraced the Zelda games.

I know its always been 1-3 days. My point was that they've changed the wording on their p&p choices, probably because you do get people complaining when they don't get it next day.

The Don't Starve free deal was done months ago though when it was first announced for PS4. I dont know how long its been free for Chrome but its still a game thats sold elsewhere and a pretty good game for PS+ when a console has only been out a month.

No it was on sale on their store but that might have rolled over to the next load of games now.

Yeah ive been looking forward to playing it since it came out. I'd just been waiting for a good discount and as its on sale on Humble Bundle for $4.99 I figured now was a good time.

Stuff like this seems like it would be good for a cross buy like system and released on both the Wii U and 3DS.

If this is more Dynasty Warriors than Zelda then I cant see it having much more substance than was shown in the video unfortunately.

Always a shame when any people who didnt like what they saw are just automatically called overhyped as some kind of excuse. As for the actual Nintendo Direct. Im sure it was good enough for people already happy with Nintendo but it still just felt by the numbers with them trotting out the same old stuff yet again. I can understand Nintendo thinking that double down on existing franchises and targeting people's nostalgia is the way to try and fix the Wii U problem but its just creating new problems with Nintendo fatigue starting to set in and nothing being shown that makes you feel anything new is on the horizon to fix it.
