Noticed by the way that the forum has been running nice and smoothly again for the last day

Watching the reviews on it the game does seem to have quite a deep system that gets more rewarding the more you learn it, its what put me off slightly when I first saw it as I wasn't looking for anything particularly deep.

Ok let's get this cleared up quickly, me saying filthy earlier was 100% just a joke based on my previous issues with it that I thought people would get but obviously not so I apologise. As I said, my preference is to have all the game threads in the one section anyway so we all chat together, I have no desire to split us apart further. Its mostly that I just don't like discussion being moved after its started.

Fair enough. As I said my neither way is my actual preference so I'm happy to hear the other ideas on potential reorganisation.

Might still pick up a few more games before the sale ends. I've heard good things about Cassette Beasts (other than from Drahkon) and I see there's some Vampire Survivors dlc I didn't realise was there so I could get that as well.

Doesn't help that our national teams haven't given us much to be positive about either.

Or we just stop feeling the need to move threads so if they started as Switch titles then they could stay as Switch titles

I do hate the fact that I can't use the co-pilot ai to ask a political question, even just a factual one. All I was asking was when was the last time the UK got to elect their prime minister and how many had we had since.

As I said, I still have some historical rage issues I may need to work through that don't relate to the current section and they may slip out from time to time 😆

I don't like the way its done now with threads getting moved so I'd definitely be up for just the reworking of the current sections so multiformat games stay out of the filthy Nintendo section. Personally I'm still for merging the two sections so game threads could just be posted and discussed in regardless of format but I guess I'm just too progressive for this forum 😜

Not too many posters around here in the build up, just lots of flyers. I did have the early 20s version of the Milky Bar Kid turn up at my house last week though to try and promote his Tory candidate.

I looked into it a bit more after chatting with Hero and it wasn't really grabbing me so I probably won't bother. Thinking about maybe going with Cassette Beasts now for something new.

Got mine in nice and early this morning before work. I haven't currently got any photo ID so I applied for one of those photo certificates with your picture on. I assume I was the first one they'd seen as they seemed quite confused at first😆

To be fair I never suggested merging that general gaming section where those are found.

While we are looking at the forum with the upgrade I just want to put out an idea and see what people thought. Is it time for us to merge the Nintendo Gaming and Other Consoles sections? I don't know about anyone else but I think I miss out on some discussions now because I don't go into the Nintendo section very much (mostly due to historical issues with posters there that have since left or been cleared up) and with the new "rules" that if a game is available on Switch the thread must be placed in that section, regardless of if it was created in Other Consoles first it gets a bit confusing. I also think we aren't nearly as big as we used to be so merging the sections could just help with all the threads being in one place. Just an idea I wanted to float by everyone.

Might look into that then, see if it catches my eye.

Which of the series have you played? Wouldn't minding a new jrpg to get into myself and from the looks of my Steam library I've only owned Ys I & II.

Got my games for this Steam sale. Didn't do too many this time, just a couple I'd had my eye on that should work well on specific devices: Anno 1800 Neon Abyss Bloons TD 6 The Binding of Isaac Rebirth

Yep similar with me as well at my last job. Worked at a school that was a pretty friendly place, all of us admin/IT staff felt like an actual team, then the school group came. We became a school group with 2 other schools (1 senior school then us 2 prep schools) and the senior school started making a lot of the decisions, usually made from a senior school mentality, not understanding the needs of a school for younger children. I was managing the databases, phones, printers etc at the time and it became impossible to do my job. Contracts weren't paid so we kept losing access to software, everything became very corporate and all the staff became miserable. I left about a year and a half ago and since then they've lost multiple teachers and I'd say at least half of the admin team.

Might be worth looking up some chat about Disco Elysium online and see how people have found the UI and text size while playing it on the Deck.

Wanted another retro handheld that I could just leave in my bag for when I was out and needed to kill some time so got myself the Miyoo Mini Plus. Nice little handheld.
