  1. Oblivion was 06, Skyrim 11. It’s been quite some time really which why I could Elder Scrolls coming. Though they have still been working on Elder Scrolls Online, Morrowind was released just last year after all. I’d be okay with a New Vegas release on Switch. I didn’t get far into it unfortunately. Fallout 3 was enjoyable but ultimately I don’t care to go back to it. I’d be surprised if it was FO3 multiplatform though unless they really put a lot of work into it. Xbox One X and PCs can already play an enhanced version. Hell maybe it’ll be remakes of the originals. That could be interesting.
  2. Bethesda/Fallout instagram stories are both the TV broadcast signal saying please stand by. With #pleasestandby. So I guess that’s minor confirmation of Fallout news incoming. Now the question is, Fallout 5 or Fallout 4 Switch. Personally I’m thinking switch seems more likely, but it has been a handful of years since Fallout 4....you’d think they’d leapfrog with ElderScrolls though.
  3. I’ve played some of it. No where near talented enough to not play on easy with infinite lives, but it definitely plays like a classic castlevania.
  4. Ew. Not sure if I like the changing some parts of the game to reflect moral/social changes of the times. If it’s small little things I suppose it’s fine but if it’s changing the story simply to be more PC I dislike that. Of course having not played the original I won’t know the difference anyway. So change away I suppose.
  5. It sure was a movie with younger versions of established characters. It was about what I expected, a whole lot of action and not a lot of substance. Very Michael Bay-ish. But it’s enjoyable, no reason for anyone to turn down seeing the movie.
  6. Horizon is very good even in a world with Breath of the Wild (of course I’m a heretic). If you've never had a Rockstar game before, honestly GTA:V is pretty great.
  7. Over The Shoulder RE2? Hmmmm.
  8. Too lazy to do the picture thing so a generic list incoming for you @dwarf Nier Automata Persona 5 God of War Horizon Zero Dawn Bloodborne Dark Souls Destiny 2 MGS:V Hellblade The Witcher 3 Resident Evil 7 Just a small random selection of some of what I had the most enjoyment with. Oh, Titanfall 2 also!
  9. Well there goes the validity of your opinion. I typically enjoy these games despite whatever issues they may have. I did play the demo and enjoyed that as well. I actually look forward to multiple playthroughs of this.
  10. Could I get some context on this
  11. Well as long as it’s very steady.
  12. Yeah not really surprised by this.
  13. Brutal. What’s truly funny is how well Microsoft topped $599, Giant Enemy Crab hit the weak spot Ridge Racer. It wasn’t as quotable or comical maybe but boy were they successful in becoming reviled after than conference. Sony recovered mid generation at least. Theres always the following consoles at least. I can’t see MS truly salvaging this with E3 announcements. Their catalog doesn’t have depth to bring out something new in an old IP to generate a lot of buzz and their developers haven’t exactly been hitting it with new IPs. Paying Konami for something out of their catalog is definitely a possibility but I don’t know. They’re greedy as shit, but also seem content to just let most of their IPs rot in disuse so I don’t know. Especially since at this point any exclusivity automatically means cutting potential consumers by millions unless it’s truly a system seller.
  14. I enjoyed it quite a bit when I watched today. It had some atrocious CGI here and there but was overall I think a stronger film. The cold open is no where near as memorable though.

    Rage 2

Looks okay I suppose. Not so sure we need a “huge” open world though. A small but still large and packed world would allow for a tightly controlled story and various events. God of War style. But we’ll see... I do enjoy the rather large amounts of enemies on screen though. iDtech 6 doing swell.

    Rage 2

Watched the trailer. It was utterly stupid and pointless. Which I’m a fan of....except it’s a poor way to garner actual interest in a title that’s namesake will be an uphill battle.
  17. I honestly think Rage 2 reveal was pushed forward after the Walmart reveal. It still wasn’t a well kept secret perhaps but I think had the games list not been spoiled they may have waited for closer to E3 (because really I don’t see it being a huge issue to change the dates a bit). As for the Walmart reveal, I think they handled it very well. They drew attention back to themselves and poked fun at Walmart. Then slowly teased a handful more of images.

    Rage 2

Haven’t watched the trailer but I’m betting they pushed this reveal up after Walmart’s goof. Hence the tweet followed by the Instagram posts with the same type of editing and pink writing.
  19. https://www.instagram.com/bethesda/?hl=en They added a further 3 images. Almost all of them show 5-14 somewhere in the picture, so I’m guessing the announcement is tomorrow.
  20. Looks like Bethesda is working on revealing Rage 2 in a slightly more official way.
  21. Looks like some straight NES type castlevania there. Im out. I’m less than good at those old 8bit games that thrive on being unforgiving. I’m in for a SOTN style where I don’t have to pull my hair out playing.
  22. Ha! Rage/Bethesda’s responses are pretty great. I think Rage 2 was already heavily rumored anyway. Plus there is the fact that their response of marking up the page could easily just be a joke response that means nothing.
  23. Reading the bullet points makes me think of Horizon. Didn’t that skip a few shows too? It had more hype due to the initial concept being more obvious and unique. Plus it was coming from a more proven developer.
