Circled in Red should be all of the speaker wire areas, circled in Orange would just be normal speaker wires. The other inputs would be a more specific type probably similar to composite or component leads when hooking up a console, but I'm not sure specifically what would work, a quick google search could probably find the answer.
  2. In the realm of ultra-portables and netbooks single core is about the only way they are without going to higher prices. Well, firstly he's looking at getting something smaller than his current 15.6" laptop with good battery life. Secondly, laptops usually run hotter, although your temps are pretty high, perhaps it was dust or poor assembly (too much/little thermal paste). I'm actually surprised you could underclock your laptop, usually options like those are locked on laptops.
  3. The real difference is in the cutscenes where the US version has blood. Like with Death Metal being beheaded in the beginning, boring without blood.
  4. How do we know that the main character in CoD doesn't have a beard? Really though, who is the main character we play as a few people we never see and we play as Soap, who does have a beard (and a dumb ass mohawk)
  5. Dead Space?
  6. dude...dude you have leet trophies right now. 1337. awesome. Umm slightly more on topic, eh until I see it not sucking I'll assume it to be like every other MoH.
  7. I don't agree with number 9 or number 7. There just isn't that much blood in them compared to the other games lower and higher.
  8. Totally not loading.

It depends on the system. My parents have a Sony sound system with specific little inserts for the receiver. Some just use standard wires which are generally two wires insulated together one negative and one positive and oth ends are bare for inserting into speakers/receiver.
  10. You mean...they managed to fit This controller inside of This one? Sheesh, I was just playing with ya daft.
  11. I doubt it, but maybe the Dualshock 3.

Well, I can't really say anything specific about either system, but my Laptop has Harmon/Kardon speakers and the quality is absolutely fantastic, just as good as my headphones.
  13. Plenty of people, for a variety of reasons. Less heat Longer life Better Stability Less power consumed In fact, AMD has coolnquiet which automatically underclocks a CPU when a PC is just idling and all that speed isn't needed and I know that Core 2 Duo's do the same thing. I just don't know what they call it.
  14. To be fair, it exceeded expectations and got enough recognition to warrant a sequel. In fact, I think it's the first Suda51 game to warrant a sequel, so that's saying something.
  15. I've never had an Acer, other members here have owned them before and some say they're terrible and others don't. McPhee has said before that the Ferrari line seems to be of better quality than most other Acers.
  16. It's an odd coincidence but not much more than that. Most fanboys will die before admitting their chosen console wasn't the bestest evar at making uber graphics. It's also a skewed comparison in that the machines were fairly close to each other in terms of power, as oppose to the large gap between the Wii and 360/PS3 of his gen.
  17. Now that I can tell more about it, that Acer Ferrari is quite nice. It has ATI integrated graphics (better than Intel easily) and the resolution is a nice 1366x768 which should give a adequate amount of workspace. Remember, it's all really up to you, no one can make the decision for you. Go with what you'll like.
  18. I'm inclined to agree with your friend. That ebuyer laptop is almost the same according to ebuyer, but according to Intel the GL40 chipset uses Celeron model CPUs and not Core 2 Duo like Ebuyer has listed. Graphically they are about the same though. They don't really list a whole lot of info...They don't list the resolution among other things generally listed. I also remembered (after seeing them put tbc in the category) how badly do you need a CD/DVD drive? Most Netbooks do not have one. You can get external drives, but that would be an additional purchase and piece of hardware to lug around. I vote the Toshiba from before.
  19. Hmm I just click the little refresh button in the browser.
  20. Crysis level graphics is quite the jump though. In all truthfulness comparing most multiplat games on PC and consoles the console version are usually planted around Medium settings at 720p. My laptop can do that, and it's quite low-end graphically. My guess is the next consoles will have hardware very similar to whats on the PC market now. A console with a Core i5 and 4870 or 5870. That's an insane amount of power compared to the 360. Besides, they're already focusing on their motion control schemes now, probably in tangent with their hardware plans.
  21. Most TVs scaling capabilities are utter shit compared to a dedicated upscaler or just the console itself (360/PS3). Powerful as 360 will be underpowered in the next gen. I'm not sure they want to do that again.
  22. He obviously takes his own advice.
  23. I agree with everything Shorty said, except you should use Opera Also, This is the best Mac one could buy (the one with 8 cores).
  24. If you can manage I'd say stick with what you have. If you really want/need something smaller I'd say the Toshiba. I don't think you'd be really happy using Photoshop and Inventor on a netbook. They just have limitations to that kind of software. Coolio, hope you're happy with it. You do have an OS to install right?
  25. I'm sure a netbook could run photoshop and inventor, but a ultra-portable would probably be better. They would give a slightly higher resolution which is a definite plus when you have limited workspace. Knowing more of what you want, I'm going to eat my words and say that the Toshiba you originally linked to in this thread would suit you well.
