Correct. All top 5 or top 10 (depends on the size of your store) Wii games are £20 until next Thursday. Anywhoo, I havent spent much time with this but I reached the boss 'Payne' the other day, and can't beat him at all. Can get his health down 50% the odd time, but his minions usually end up shooting me or he grabs me and throws me in the air which results in game over. Am I the only one struggling here?

Yep, it a rare game now as I belive Nintendo have stopped producing more copies, plus only 2 or 3 UK retailers have it instock 'New'. Did you see it at GAME btw? I have some instore credit to spend there so I could look out for this.

Those screens look fine in my opinion. Will defintley buy this, but I won't get too excited about the online mode this time, as it was a major disappointment for me, apart from when you're playing in private matches. We might also see a new COD title on Wii this winter too, so plenty of online/FPS action this Christmas, along with whatever Nintendo have in store!

Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
welsh_gamer replied to CoolFunkMan's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Anyone else order a copy of this from the Gamestation sale? Recived my copy on Friday and finished it yesterday evening. It's defintley an improvement on the Umbrella Chronicles, so much so that I am going to keep this in the collection, unlike it's predecessor. The RE2 and Code Veronica scenarios make this much more enjoyable in my opinion, and the brand new scenario is miles better than the snowy one from UC. First thing you'll notice when playing is that the camera is very very shaky, and makes getting headshots, and even some normal shots, very difficult. It's very frustarting at times, but you soon get used to it. Also there are certain moments in the game which annoyed me where you come across a horde of zombies, and you get ready to take them out, but your character decides that "We don't have time for this!" or that we should "Run away!" instead of engaging in some zombie killing which is the point of the game, grrrr! Can't remember if you could upgrade weapons in UC, but you can in this, which makes replaying levels more satysfying. Took around 6 hours for me to complete the main game on Normal and it doesn't seem as difficult as UC as I managed to beat the majority of the bosses on the first attempt, including the final boss, but I only had a 'mm' of health left on the bar that time to be fair and there's more 'herbs' and 'first aid sprays' to collect, so if you're a RE or light gun shooter veteran, you may be better of playing on 'Hard'. Anywhoo, overall it's a very enjoyable, good looking Wii game, with fun gameplay that you should defintley pick up if you're looking for something to play over a rainy weekend.- 415 replies

Yikes! Even Madword, last March's hardcore title, peaked higher at number 28. Didn't see any retailers advertising it in any of the weekend papers either.

My bundle from Amazon arrived this morning. Spent an hour with it, and it's very good. Great graphics and the controls work well, but parrying doesn't seem as accurate compared to Sports Resort. The quick-time battle on the truck was a great moment, hopefully there's more to come, too add some variety and give the arms a rest.

Pre-ordered games usually come next day from Play.com - as it'll be in a bigger box due to MotionPlus and your special pre-order pack it'll probably come by courier this afternoon, as when something weighs over a certain amount of grams, Play have to send them via courier.

I had front row tickets to see him back in February but I needed some funds in my PayPal account so sold them on eBay for triple money. Enjoy! Got the following in the post today from the Gamestation online sale - cost me just over £30. Hopefully there's something decent instore too as I have £22 of instore credit to spend on a town trip next week.

I blame whoever found it and posted it on GoNintendo. However Amazon haven't cancelled the £30.99 game and classic controller only bundle (yet)

I would like the art book and bullet, but they ain't worth an extra £10/£15. Might look out for them on eBay someday. My Amazon order is now packing, but I probably won't get it till Saturday or Monday as I've chosen Free delivery. Looking forward to it!

Mine just came. Puts on Pokéwalker, Hears the future cries of "Pokéwanker! Pokéwanker!" Removes Pokéwalker. Loving the cardboard box, it's giving me a cool retro feel.

Nintendo are hosting some UK events to promote MH3 (only 3 mind ) which seem to be pretty exclusive as it's first come first serve. Register here via Facebook

...and here's another two. Blastworks £4.98 Madworld £3.99 I sold Madworld last March - tempted to buy again now, just to have it in the collection

Wii Bargains at GAME/Gamestation Zack and Wiki £6.98 Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles £9.98 Tatsunoko vs Capcom Ultimate All Stars £13.98

What an anti-climax to the "When will GAME dispatch my game" saga. Mine has been dispatched from ShopTo.net. Was thinking of ordering with GAME instead on Monday so I could get a free figurine, but I couldn't figure out how to cancel my order

Hey, that's my name! Rhys is the one that looks better written down on paper. Looks good yes, but not when you pronounce it like that, unless the Rhys is under 6 years old.

Sex Drive T'was ok. Not as amazing as some people on here have been praising it. A handful of good moments, but the characters weren't as memorable as the one's from the Apatow directed or produced genre flicks we've had in the last few years. 5/10 The Wrestler Loved it. Felt very sad and depressed for 'The Ram' often and the sudden ending worked for me. A classic modern character film. 9/10

I'm not that "excited" either. It doesn't feel like this game is coming out in around 10 days but I'm still hoping to be blown away as I havent watched any footage since the teaser trailer or read any in-depth stuff about this game. As I've ordered from Amazon, like the majority of N-E, we probably won't get this till the following Monday or Tuesday, which for once doesn't even bother me, but that's probably becuase Pokemon Silver is out on the same day

Surepass :- very cheap, but I guess it depends on location (mine was £17.50 p/h) and the instructor. I passed third time. Had to do a three point turn on the first attempt and I 'tapped' the kerb while reversing which resulted in a fail, and on the second attempt, I had to do it again, but I tapped the kerb when pulling out this time, which resulted in another fail. Luckily there was no need to do it on the final test, but I had to reverse park, which is generally regarded as the worst practical car excerice, but I somehow managed to do it perfectly, but since passing over three years ago, I've yet to do it without an instructor. Bay parking ftw! A similar thing happened to me last October. She wasn't a girlfriend though, and I had more of a shock than her, mainly because I was worried I'd have to take her to a hospital or something Anywhoo, a pretty, pretty good day was had today, watching Curb your Enthusiasm in bed all day.

Role Models Enjoyable comedy, which was just fine. Cheesy ending though. 6/10 Eagle Eye Started off very well, with a good premise, but that soon changed after it became predicatble, silly and filled with pointless action. Michelle Monaghan also managed to be out-acted by Shia! 3/10

Doctor Wii? If true, it's most defintley a third party not Nintendo, and hopefully won't be another Top Trumps game. A point and click adventure would suit Dr Who best.
