Not at all. I played through the campaign twice and as I said above Challenge mode got replayed a lot. Think my Activity Log data for the game is around the 15 hour mark. Got rid as Ridge Racer 3D and Mario Kart 7 have more replay value, and because of the weak online presence. If anyone's curious, don't be put off, as I did have a lot of fun with the game. It can be picked up for under £10 at several retailers now too. If NFS: Most Wanted arrives on 3DS later this year, I'll defintley pick it up, and it may become a keeper if people actually play online this time.

It's a decent little racer. Single player is fun, apart from those silly stylus missions you mentioned of course, but once you get used to resting the stylus nearby, they don't seem so annoying. Challenge mode is where I spent most of my time, trying to best my high scores. My main gripe was that every race was a drive from point A to point B 'mission'. Shame there were no courses where you could race laps, Ridge Racer 3D style. I don't own the game anymore, but it's good to hear that my high scores are still up there on the Autolog. Beaten any of them yet? Tried searching for an online game? I only managed to play 4 or 5 online games, and those only featured 1 other human opponent!

£4.99 delivered at Play.com! Worth a look at that price if you enjoy puzzle platformers. Gets tough early on though

At long last, Renegade Kid's Mutant Mudds is being released on the 3DS' eShop this Thursday, the 21st of June 2012, only 6 months or so after the Americans got their hands on it I've been looking forward to this one for a long time (love my 2D platformers!), and will be downloading it straight away. Roll on Thursday!

Yay, it arrived this morning. Now do I keep it as a collectible, sell it for Wii U funds, give it as a present to my mum or open it so that I can get a daily StreetPass hit Decisions, decisions!

Looks like the Princess Peach versions have begun to arrive. There's one currently on eBay.

I was bored with console gaming last year too. The Wii was only being switched on for online Call of Duty action, but then I got Rayman Origins which got me back into playing single player games on Wii for some time. I'd suggest getting the game on console, as it plays, flows and controls better, is cheaper than picking up the 3DS version, and the PS3/360 offers HD graphics, while the Wii version offer multiple control schemes. Defintley not a game that should be ignored : peace: Thoughts?

Pre-order the Black console for £199.99 at Amazon Possibly an error (?) BUT they do have a pre-order price promise.

I'm hoping it'll be £229 or so at launch, then I'll only need to spend £300-£350 for the console with 3 or 4 games. Nearing or going over £400 for a decent package will be too much for me! New Super Mario Bros U, Rayman Legends, ZombiU and LEGO City Undercover would be my launch picks from the current schedule.

The main games of the next 2 - 3 months :-

Did you two win the Mario version? Looks like they've only sent those out so far, as they are the only designs currently on eBay **Adds to watch list**

Miiverse Messaging Could Take 30 Minutes
welsh_gamer replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
When Letterbox became available, I was playing COD online with lost, so we downloaded the app at the end, to try it out and discuss it while we had our headsets on. I remember getting the "test" message from him, in under 2 minutes. -
Yep, it's been available to download since the showcase, and getting a lot of good feedback from those who've played it. Hopefully we'll see it over here too.
-
Hopefully it means more than "Also available through Nintendo Network"
-
The portable Call Of Duty game on Vita wasn't announced as an exclusive was it? Be nice to see that, or any FPS infact. Can't belive we've yet to see a FPS on 3DS - not counting the optional FPS mode in the Resident Evil games of course - especially as the DS had several COD and 007 titles, Metroid, Moon, Dementium, Brothers of Arms etc
-
Been waiting ages for this one, hopefully it'll be available in weeks, not months. Looking forward to spending many hours climbing and beating scores on the leaderboards

What are the chances of any surprises at the 3DS showcase later, considering it's not an "event" like yesterday's confrence, and as Nintendo have published those press packs with details on ALL games and hardware at E3? There was only 1 surprise at last year's E3 (Luigi's Mansion 2) and I was kinda hoping for more this year.

Well they've obviously ripped the dialogue straight from the film, and if that's what they're doing for every cut-scene, there's not going to be many humours lines, just silent slap-stick comedy, unless Ian McKellen, Sean Bean & co. are currently recording some amusing dialogue for those special scenes in time for the games release. Anywhoo, this is the first console LEGO game I'm intrested in since Indiana Jones, mainly due to the licence. I wonder if we'll see a LOTR & The Hobbit package released late 2013/14, and if this game does appear on Wii U, will City Stories, launch in the same period?

Like yourself, I was stuck on that one for ages, and took a long break from the game because of it. f00had posted this on the previous page :- Don't forget to buy the item that costs 20 coins from the shop too, I forget it's name, but that's the most useful one. If you keep failing, just keep trying, took me many attempts, but there are loads of great rhythm games to play after that attrocious one.

Same here. I do enjoy the minigames, but since completing Championship mode, every time I switch this on I get bored after 10 minutes of play. Going to trade it in Tuesday for some eShop credit methinks.

Loved the WiiWare demo back in 2010, so downloaded Art of Balance Touch last night, and I'm really enjoying it. Incase some are inaware of this, the game includes all four worlds from the WiiWare version and four brand new worlds, so considering the game cost 800 points on the Wii, you're getting double the amount of content here, plus Endurance mode for the same price. The perfect touch controls, satisfaction that comes from balancing and slotting blocks together, and trying a diffrent instead of obvious solution to a puzzle, make this a joy to play. I've completed 50 out of 200 puzzles so far, with 1 hour 40 minutes on the clock. Most were easy of course, but there were 3 or 4 that caused a few problems. Pretty sure they are gonna get tougher, especially as more new blocks, which add a bit of tactical thinking are added to the mix. There's also a few achivements to tick off, with the one's on Endurance mode, looking like the toughest to gain. Btw, if you're looking for a eShop game that will last long and keep you playing, try Zen Pinball, unless you're awaiting the Avengers version of course! Most of us here with the game, have put quite a few hours into it, and will continue to do so I'm sure.

Damn, so close to beating Dazzybee too! No extra balls either? Congrats, you're gonna have to keep checking the leaderboards once a month, to make sure you're still top in Ireland.

I love Rayman Origins on the Wii, but while the demo here looks really good, the controls feel stiff, and as everything's been compressed for the 3DS' screen, the characters and the world seem really far away. Disappointing then, but I hope those who've not played the game beforehand, haven't been put off playing it, as it's incredible on home consoles!

Same here. Thought they had dispatched Mario Tennis Open in record time for a second there!
