Keeping my pre-order too. I'm sure it'll keep me entertained over the Summer, and if I decide it's not a keeper for the collection, I'll sell it before the Autumn and Winter rush!

Heroes of Ruin, which is out June 15th, is the only confirmed game to feature voice chat.

Downloaded VVVVVV last night. It's great fun, and the flip screen platforming idea has been pulled off nicely thanks to great level design and plenty of variety in ideas. Recomended for fans of platform puzzlers and WayForwards output on DSiWare/eShop. Looks like this might be the price guide for GBC software then :- £3.60 for budget/low content games. £4.50 for most third party titles. £5.40 for Nintendo blockbusters.

You're right, it's a great stylus based platformer. Much more enjoyable than Power Paintbrush imo too. The majority of those unlockable mini-games should be put up on the eShop for a couple of quid each, as they are very very good, especially the addictive pinball game!

3DS version ftw. For me, playing the games on a handheld make them even better, and the stylus controls are far better than twisting the Wii remote in Beat and Void. Trying to get the perfect score and beating your own attempts is fun enough! If you're desperate to see the bonus videos and texts I'm sure you can view them online somewhere, plus from what I've read the extra Easy and Harder modes in the Complete package are not worth playing, while the leaderboards are flawed. You could always buy both if you can't decide, then sell/trade the version you don't want to keep Played it yet? What's you favourite game?

Been playing a few GBA Ambassador games over the last week, the once I hadn't played before :- Wario Land 4 - fun platformer, but quite short considering it's a GBA title. Mario Vs. Donkey Kong - had high hopes for this one as it's based on the GB Donkey Kong game, but I much prefer the DS games in this modern series. Kirby and the Amazing Mirror - dabbled in it, but it hasn't 'grabbed' me yet. Started Yoshi's Island last night. Played it on SNES and GBA beforehand of course, and still love it. A 3DS entry in the series would be amazing

Was discussing the line up of 3DS games being released over the next 2-3 months with Mokong while playing MW3 earlier, and it came to attention there's quite a few of them :- That's quite a decent line-up, especially when compared to the drought of last year, and we have no idea what downloadable gems we'll see on the eShop either!

I've played the Wii version and enjoyed it very much, but didn't keep it as the online multiplayer was limited and I rarely play multiplayer games offline these day. Enjoyed most 3DS racers, so will be looking forward to this one. Maybe it'll be able to improve on Mario Kart 7 by offering a mission mode in single player, with leaderboards and the ability to trade ghost online?

Yep. I've put a pre-order in, as I love rhythm games. Nintendo Gamer gave it a score of 80% in their latest issue.

I finished it the other day too. Found the second half of the main game a bit of a drag as I was loosing intrest in the story, but now I'm hooked replaying all the minigames over and over Have you tried playing any of the rhythm games on 'Hard' mode yet? Can't notice any diffrence myself. Did you get all the Phantom Notes? I have, but was under the impression a new chapter or rhythm game would be unlocked for this.

Wow, a Summer release date, that was totally unexpected! Crazy how it looks like we ain't gonna get our hands on games such as Animal Crossing and Paper Mario, which we saw at E3 2010, until Winter 2012, while we're getting this a few months after seeing the first screens. I wasn't the biggest fan of NSMB on DS either, but I have played through it quite a few times. Hopefully this will be more like the Wii version. I wonder if we'll see multiplayer support along with the return of those touch based mini-games which last appeared in the handheld Mario games on DS?

I expect we'll a June or July release date announced for either Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion 2 or Paper Mario, and hopefully a European date for Heroes of Ruin, along with new details on the online side of the game. Layton 5 details for the USA too maybe, seeing as the professor doesn't get much, if any stage time at E3?

Finally did it last night! You're right that you need to turn the 3DS like a steering wheel, not all over the place as if you were playing an AR game... that was my mistake! Defintley the weakest mission that one. Can't see myself getting an 'A' or a perfect combo on it anytime soon. Which rhythm games are based upon Space Channel 5 then? I'm not familiar with that franchise.
