There are some very good communities out there. One of my favourites is deviantart. I don't go on it that often and I'm not very good at art but people there are always encouraging and nice. For some reason when it comes to music... People often spam and troll. Blogs like "oh no they didn't" have some of the worst trolling and spam I've ever seen. For gaming,Most American gaming forums are god awful. American forums users seem to be complete idiots or complete elitist bastards. Even small ones like screwattack can be a problem. and we all know youtube are scum. What are your favourite communites ( besides N-europe) and which ones do you utterly hate? Doesn't matter what the interest is

I heard the movie is meant to be a general fairytale sort of affair disney does, but since princess and the frog did poorly enough they are trying to advertise it like dreamworks.... The rock music, the fast paces action, the witty humour etc..

I heard a lot of that footage in the trailer isn't even in the actual movie is that true?

Another little thing is TRY to be nice to newer members, you don't get them ALL that often to be honest I've seen it happen in general loads of times. They start getting pounded by a lot of "in-jokes" and stuff. Also giving out to them for posting too many threads and stuff. This could be their very first forum!? Not a big deal just something to keep note of In general though being ignored for another person with a "bigger" personality happens in real-life conversations too. Always pisses me off when someone repeats a joke I've said louder than me and get's a laugh.

Should point out that they don't HAVE to be gory. Psychological movies are better

Anything gory or sickening will do. See I'm showing these movies with the likes of people who would shit themselves at the american Ring and Saw. I'm never disturbed by movies. Never have never will, I just see them as.... movies. I barely even flinch in any situation normally. But that looks like a good one. To be honest We also enjoy the occasional obviously horror movie like wolf creek or eden lake. It's plotless stuff but great stuff to watch in a group

Is that not the version they keep showing footage of? I thought super mario land and link's awkening were the 2 games demonstrated so it most likely WILL be the 3ds version.

Warning: This is not a thread for the faint hearted I'm looking for the sickest horror or whatever films you can imagine. I mean films that REALLY push the boundaries of movies. I want to have a horror movie night with the friends and scare the shit out of everyone. Last time we watched: A serbian film and Irreversable and these are supposed to be some of the worst/ best I'm not looking for SAW or any of that tame pointless stuff. Anyone got any good ones ? I suppose the only rule is NO PORNOGRAPHY

It's very hard to know why. The blame has to lie with both though. Third parties simply didn't get involved soon enough. Third parties should have been launching games like we are now seeing on the 3ds on the wii at launch,but they were worried and didn't want to take the chance. Except perhaps ubisoft with the successful red steel and rayman raving rabbids. and Third parties simply aren't making quality third party games that general people want.. The first party support did so well because we got "main entries" in the series not "spin-offs" nobody likes. Umbrella chronicles, dead space wii etc etc. I know these are quality titles in their own right but it's NOT what people expect or want. I expect if about a year after the wii was released we got metal gear solid 5 or gta 5 it would have sold like crazy.

I'm not his biggest fan either to be honest I'm just saying that's how it would look to outsiders. Is that a fact now? I had no idea the combined figure of wii third party sales is so high. I mean I KNEW it was higher than gamecube but I didn't think it would be higher than PS3. This wouldn't be exclusive only titles per chance no?

Ya he gives out advice to investors and if you ARE an investor, whose opinion are you going to trust? A random suit or a guy who has a show on one of the most popular gaming websites. It makes him look like he is in touch with the regular gamers. The third party situation is still grimmer than on the PS3 and 360. It's hard to pinpoint whose fault it is though. There is a bit of nintendo and third parties fault in here. There is still ENOUGH third party games out there but it's not a whole lot better than the gamecube to be honest.

I also think things like differing release dates need to be sorted for movies and especially videogames first but it sounds like a very good idea.

Again it all sounds awesome except the price. If the price translates from the American price directly it would be fine. 250.00 USD = 184.489 EUR but the fact is no... We are totally getting charged €250 for this and it's complete suicide. The core audience here are kids and casual gamers... sorry but no. Nintendo is REALLY banking on the 3d wowing people and I gotta admit I haven't seen it yet, but it would want to be mind-blowing. All the features would want to be top-notch too which... let's face it ...isn't usually nintendo's strong point.

This is a tough one for sony... But I just feel like in the long term, people shouldn't be punished or threatened by these large companies. It doesn't seem to work. However offering consumers a better alternative will help massively. Using the music industry as an example again. The itunes downloads are cheaper than normal buys and more convenient and no distribution required by companies. Customers are more LAZY than CHEAP I would think. It's all about convenience. There are Cd's STILL available too for those that prefer it. I know it's inevitable eventually but you'd think gaming and movies would try this approach a lot faster. I know there are examples of each but it's not been pushed as much as it should be... We all know the future is going to be downloading and instant purchases.

die hard 4.0 was a great action movie! Watch the uncut version though... I think it's the austrilian version. It's the version where he actually says his catchphrase. I don't think it's quite as good as the first 3

I don't know this could the first time ever he could be right. It does feel like the wii is fading away which is bizarre because it's still selling well. why does it feel like that
