  1. I removed my vote because I missed that detail. Still, it seems to me Jonnas posts are mostly centred on damage control. I actually still suspect him of being roleblocked tomorrow. No townie roleblocker will have any interest in him, and I doubt a mafia roleblocker will risk being reverse tracked. Which leaves us to simply ask Jonnas for his target next day, and then check if that player has been boosted or not. Unless of course, people are inclined to find out now rather than next day, if he´s mafia or not, to which I´m not exactly opposed.
  2. Digging up an old thread, but after the Skyward sword music discussion in the Majora´s mask 3ds thread, I wanted to check how "terrible" the music actually was (and then post my opinion about it in the right thread). Yes, I couldn´t remember them either, from the top of my head at least, but that doesn´t necessarily mean they´re bad. They´re simply not as catchy as I´ve found out, after skimming all 192 of them on Youtube. What they lack in catchiness, they make up for in ambience. I´m not fond of all the battle themes though. But I found some great atmospheric tracks. One surprised me actually.. That bamboo island theme is maybe my favourite after skimming them all. follow fi Audio goddess sword Audio sealed grounds Audio faron woods Audio bamboo island Audio lanayru desert Audio lanayru desert past Audio gate of time Audio farore's silent realm Audio lanayru sand sea Audio the dragons Audio
  3. There´s also a port coming to the TI-83: http://tinycartridge.com/post/102627220562/smash-bros-for-ti-83-84-calculators-obviously
  4. Hmm, I missed that detail, I´ll remove my vote for now. remove vote
  5. I thought it was odd that you mentioned specifically not being boosted, while everyone else is "succesful, target not Dedede". Combined with Dedede´s role information, and Eevilmurray´s claim, and now your confirmation that you were actually roleblocked.. If Eevil is telling the truth, you flat-out lied. vote: Jonnas
  6. I have a passive ability and an active ability. The latter I saw no use for last night. ###### I´m not asking specifics, but did you do something last night that could potentially be boosted?
  7. I didn´t perform any action last night, so I have no info to give at this point.
  8. Vote no lynch Though I wonder if it´s wise to deviate from our usual day/night cycle.
  9. Good luck town! Or good luck mafia! Depending on what my PM will say.
  10. I´ve bought it, and am downloading it now. But it´s taking a while.. 16.5 GB? No offense, but the game doesn´t look like it uses that much data.. Or will I be treated to some gorgeous anime cut scenes or something?
  11. I´m fine with their release schedules, but I´ll probably have to wait longer than you since I´m concerned for season 4 spoilers. I´m watching the show on Blu-ray, so it´ll be until March or something, before I´ve caught up. I guess there´s Tales of the borderlands in the meantime.
  12. Wasn´t there a thread already? Couldn´t find it. Anyway, the first details have been announced, but no releasedate yet (speculation is December). http://www.telltalegames.com/blog/86265/your-story-begins-first-details-on-game-of-thrones-a-telltale-games-series - 6 episodes. - 5 playable characters. - Artstyle influenced by oil paintings. - You play as characters from / affiliated with House Forrester, a house not featured in the TV show (yet), but mentioned in the books. - Game will be based on TV show rather than books. - Takes place during season 4. - You´ll visit both familiar and new places. Really looking forward to it.
  13. Is that the new faux leather one? Anyway, looks cool!
  14. Besides receiving some figures, including the Link nendoroid, I also received my headphone hanger:
  15. Well, Steam reviews are "mostly positive". But I bought it a long time ago, and didn´t like it either. Graphics are nice, but you´re playing it for the story, and the story simply isn´t good. Good news: [Valkyria chronicles on Steam] If I´m not buying it it´s because I still hope to get a PS3 retail copy one day, but I´ll probably will get it.
  16. This.. I don´t know what this is. It´s eleven minutes long, but stick with it, because it ends up being brilliant (especially for TV buffs).
  17. That really looks ridiculous, bu I must admit multiplayer looks like fun.
  18. I just noticed the Steam Halloween sale. Loads of mostly indie games on my wishlist are on sale, but I don´t want to spend too much on games this month, so I think I´ll stick to The vanishing of Ethan Carter, and The long dark. Maybe Murdered: soul suspect.
  19. I am excited! 2019?? Oh well, guess I´ll watch Interstellar first . I don´t know the new characters, and I´ve only heard bits and pieces about them and the new storylines, but it doesn´t matter. I never cared for Thor or Captain America before phase 1 either.. I boarded the Marvel hype train a long time ago. I do hope we´ll at least see some TV characters in some of those films!
  20. If this really has a RE4 feel than I just might have to look into it. edit: but not for € 60,-.
  21. No release date has been announced. They estimate it´s going to be released after Book 2 has been released on PC.
  22. So finished this a few days ago.. Great ride overall, with some great looking setpieces. Controls were great, but gameplay overall, well, was fine, but I wouldn´t rate this game a Game of the year (of last year..). I enjoyed the rollercoaster ride, although I wouldn´t have mind if they went a little less over the top. It´s unbelievable how Lara keeps finding herself in more trouble.. Then looking at the skeletons and streams of blood under the monastary I believe.. I mean, how many people get stranded on that island? Looks like a small country had been sacrificed .. Reminded me of something like Resident Evil 4 with all the over-the-top-ness. After all the talk about Metroid influences, I was hoping more of that, but the game´s still quite linear. There´s no real need to backtrack. I have no real desire to pick up the rest of the collectibles after finishing the game. Anyway, I enjoyed it and I´m looking forward to the sequel (and film perhaps), but I´m done with this one.
  23. @mods, the game is unlikely to come to WiiU at this point, so please move the thread to "other consoles". Anyway, I´ve played this a few hours before the official release, but it´s now generally available on Steam and GoG for € 30,- (or € 35,- for the special edition). Is it worth it? I´d say absolutely. Few technical issues aside, the gameworld is incredibly detailed and polished.. Art design and setpieces are lovely. I walked for quite a bit (as opposed to running) through the city, soaking up the atmosphere. Listening in on people´s discussions. There´s even a hilarious singer songwriter I spent at least 5 minutes listening to. The gameplay is similar to Dreamfall. If you´ve played that, you feel right at home mostly.. For those who haven´t; it´s a 3rd person point & click adventure. You click on things or persons to interact with them, and solve puzzles. Works fine overall, although since you don´t have a specific pointer, it´s sometimes a bit confusing what stuff you can interact with and what stuff you can´t. Also the icons aren´t explained at first, but you can figure them out through trial and error. The music is amazing. Check the trailers to get a taste. The soundtrack is available with the special edition, and I´d say the price is worth it for the soundtrack alone. There is the aforementioned singer songwriter (apparently a real artist) who has 3 songs before he starts to loop, the soundtrack itself is amazing, and then there are various other bits of music like stuff you hear outside of the clubs and bars, making the city feel alive. Then of course there´s the story and dialogue. I haven´t replayed the previous 2 games (yet), and I have a bad memory, so even for me a lot of references went over my head. The good news is that the game is fully enjoyable without the knowledge. Furthermore, they´re working on some sort of recap of the previous 2 games, in a similar vein to Mass Effect I suppose, so you won´t have to play the games if you don´t want to. I still recommend you do, you´ll miss some of the intrigue. Book 1 (out of 5 total) contains 2 chapters and a prologue and interlude, and it´s the last 2 that will benefit the most of having knowledge of the previous games. The game generally follows Zoë and Kian, both from Dreamfall, but the interlude has a 3rd (and new) playable character, in a setting that will be familiar to those who have played The longest journey. Telltale games had some influence on the direction of the game, the focus on storytelling (although of course the games already had this), but now the episodic structure, and especially the choice & consequence factor. For those who were a bit disappointed with this in The walking dead, I have good news: Red Thread games seem to take this seriously and offer some real branching lines. After looking at their forum after playing Book 1, it seems I totally missed some characters and puzzles, based on the first major choice I made. Anyway, I can wholeheartedly recommend the game. Go buy it if you like adventures and good stories and dialogue.
