More Smash. I'm done with the Treehouse. Going to eat and then try out Fortnite/

It has now appeared on the E-shop. I'm downloading it right now.

So much Inkling action on the Treehouse. I don't get the moveset. Why downgrade the squid transformation to just a method to refill ink? The squid movement is such a core concept in Splatoon, it really should've been part of that moveset. There's plenty of ink left on the stages already, it should have been a no-brainer.

Ridley's reaction towards Samus Kirby. "Just what the hell is this." I posted my comments in the E3 Smash Direct thread. In short, some cool stuff, of which a lot they really didn't need to elaborate on, and I wanted far more new stuff shown. Getting it regardless obviously.

We had so many hopes.. I still fully expect new character reveals before and after launch. Rex absolutely needs to be there. And they can't bring a new Fire Emblem protagonist if the game itself isn't out yet.

It's similar to spoiling new Smash character reveals in the title. Though we barely will have that problem after this Direct.

Well it was a joke about your title being unnecessarily longer, but there may be some people who hadn't seen the E3 presentation and just clicked on the thread to get general new info. The way I did it they could have almost the same reaction as someone who did watch the presentation.

Yeah, it really looks awesome. Love being able to play as characters only seen in the cutscenes in the main game, and new locations. Cool cover for the new physical version by the way.

Confirming for me I really NEED this. But Spring 2019? <sigh> Luckily there's enough to play, and Valkyria Chronicles will be there for my strategy fix (after Donkey Kong Adventure).

The best thing out of this Direct. Looks fucking awesome and I'm getting it.

Slightly disappointing. They started pretty strong, but glanced over a lot of cool stuff, only to end with a long and boring segment on Smash, which could have been better itself. That mech game looks fucking awesome. I wanted more Fire emblem. And less Smash. Fire Emblem also looks fucking awesome. Hype. Mario Party, the last one I played was on N64. It's nice as a party game. But I missed if it has online? If it doesn't I have less use for it. Overcooked 2 though has online, instantly making it more interesting for me than the first which I have barely played. Pokémon, ehh it looks nice. May get it afterall, I'm getting a bit of an itch. It's not what I really want, but it may be a nice warm up for the real game. Hollow Knight, I'm still not a super fan of the artstyle, but I wouldn't mind a new Metroidvania. DragonballZ. Blink and you miss it. Fortnite: it's free, I'm going to try it out tonight. Or tomorrow if I head to bed early. Maybe try out Paladins while waiting for Fortnite? Killer Queen black: <shrug> Oh the Torna DLC. I skipped most of it, as I'm already getting it, but it looks substantial, and fucking cool. Smash.. Yeah I never want to go in-depth with any game during a Direct. I do want to see new stuff. Not tweaks for every single character (yeah that's technically new, but you know what I mean). Having every single character is cool, even if I personally could do without some of them. Would have liked to see more new characters. Ridley is cool, but doesn't have the wow factor for me personally. I really expected and wanted to see Rex at the very least. That said, I still expect him to come later. Also wanted to see more new stages. That Sheikah tower isn;t the most interesting location they could have chosen as a Breath of the Wild stage in my opinion. Anyway, theye is plenty of new cool stuff, I just didn;t need to see so much of Smash. And they skipped things that they should have included (like the rest of the Direct). Like the two new Amiibo. Also they release it too late. They miss the online launch, and it's too close to Christmas. Yoshi. Where's Yoshi. No new indie flood? I don't mind no new Prime 4, it's too early. No talk of online? They started of with the best thing in this Direct, the mech game, glanced over a lot of cool stuff, and went on and on about Smash, which I expected to have more new stuff itself.

Yeah that actually makes a lot of sense. Being a mix between Ice climbers and Pokémon trainer. Having all three of them (if we're going down this route anyway) together makes a lot of sense regarding their moveset. Team jump would be the recovery move, and you need at least 2 of them on screen for that. Plus they each obviously have their own quirks and weapons. Yeah now I really want this.

I was just thinking Rabbid Mario was a more likely candidate as a Ubisoft representation, as opposed to Rayman. Yeah I think I'd love Rabbid Peach even more. And we're definitely getting some Ubisoft representation.

The Donkey Kong Adventure dlc will be released on 26-06-2018 or 25-06-2018 for those with the season pass.

Yeah like I said, there's a big chance I'm getting this. I don't own any of the previous games, but I played a little bit of one of them. Must have downloaded a demo on Steam or something. Anyway, I liked what little I played of it. Great combination of platforming with simple controls and slapstick humour.

Mario + Rabbids is downloading somehting on my Switch! Edit: Ah too bad. probably just pre-loading stuff then. Anyway that's more time to spend on other stuff tomorrow.

Nice. I played very little of Trials, but liked what I played. I may very well get this.
