I'll be in for the 1st race, as long as nothing gets in the way.

Dem Japanese tracks, very nice. Did a few time trials on them with the Dynamic weather on, yeah didn't go well.

Anyone interested in helping a hapless gamer get some stuff done in-game?

The main problem with the Invasion angle was the lack of big stars. It was originally meant to be WWE vs WCW vs ECW, but due to the lack of stars on both fronts (mainly due to AOL Time Warner contracts on WCW's behalf, and legal issues with ECW stars and pay) those whom came over formed into one "Alliance". The biggest stars to come over from WCW were Booker T and DDP, with ECW having only RVD and Tommy Dreamer willing to come over. Many have said if the likes of Goldberg, Scott Steiner, Scott Hall, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Sting etc from WCW came over and from ECW Sabu, Sandman, Super Crazy etc then it would have been a damn sight better. And if it was booked better (aka WCW and ECW stars being able to get clean wins over WWE stars), this invasion could have gone on for a year if not longer. The only real reason why WWE stars (like Stone Cold Steve Austin*) defected to the Alliance was due to the lack of big name stars**. *This was a big mistake, Austin fought hard (even breaking his neck after a Owen Hart Piledriver) to get the ratings to win the Monday Night Wars **With the exeption to The Dudley Boyz, Taz, Raven etc as it made more sense for them to defect to ECW at the time they did. Wonder how it would have been if Bret Hart wasn't forced to retire due to that kick Goldberg delivered, seeing Bret back in a WWE ring earlier and soon after the Montrial screw-job. And people saying the likes of Eddie Guerrero, Triple H, Chris Benoit etc would have been a factor in the Invasion. Would either of these 3 defected, more so would Triple H have defected to side with Stephanie instead of Austin defecting.

I got myself aligned with a faction which i'm levelling up through to get some new stuff that way, i take it they only use Crucible points and i can still level up using the points i get for the Vanguard stuff (or is it all points go on the faction regardless of alignment)

Reached level 25 yesterday after a few hours, what sort of levels are people looking at for raids (minus the hard ones) that i could possibly join in with?
-
I went online Friday, couldn't get a decent match either. Kept getting run over, shot and robbed by my own team. Turned off as i discovered this was happening all the time in all matches i played
-
I really ought to get back into this, haven't been on in ages.

ReZ won't be happy until lime green shows up.

I'm watching the Invasion PPV on the UK Network, it does seem they've done some dubbing with commentary. I don't recall ever hearing Michael Cole on commentary apart from on Smackdown. And boy, a referee match. What a laugh.

Xpert 11 Season 34 - The Times They Are a-Changin'
Jimbob replied to dan-likes-trees's topic in General Chit Chat
Having a sloppy start to the season, hopefully can pick things up. -
PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Roku, Amazon Fire and select Smart TV's. You can watch it on any of them devices. With the Network, replays are almost instant from Live.

That's probably the only thing they could have done, each store limiting purchase of a Limited Edition/Ambassador console to 1 per account holder. Would make it fairer for everyone.
-
Bloody hate this, it happened with the Ambassador consoles as well. Nintendo should crack down on this, they do something nice and people take the mick.
-
That's one of the features i heard about, which will be great to see.
-
Some of the new features sound great, not sure on that Song of Double time change though. But the fishing holes and a bigger section of Clock Town will be interesting. I did hear about some small extra things that users of the New 3DS will be able to experience in Majoras Mask, wonder what they'll be.

Did some hunting on my way to work this morning with a random chap on the train. Got my 3DS out, he saw it and asked if i had Monster Hunter as he was struggling to find people to play it with. Strange thing to ask at 7:30 this morning, but hey ho. Did the first 2 hunts by the time we reached Cardiff, certainly was a lot of fun. Can't wait to play it with the New 3DS with that C-Stick.
-
After playing some of the Monster Hunter 4 demo, bring on the New 3DS and that C-Stick. It will be so much easier to use. Went for the New XL myself, tried a standard New 3DS last weekend and couldn't see myself using it due to the smaller screen/couldn't get used to it again.

Only game on that list i'd be interested in would be the Prime Trilogy. Recenty bought Kirby's Adventure Wii for less than £30 the other month. It's a good idea for Nintendo to release the games like this, gives many people the chance to play the classics. Now, if only Nintendo did a system similar to Sony and Microsoft, and let you pay for the game but put it into a "download for later" list.
-
This is a good move for Nintendo, and for them prices i'd be very tempted to get the Metroid Trilogy (even at full price after the offer price). Already have Galaxy 2 and Kirby's Adventure on disc, so no need to rebuy. Least this gives the chance of many gamers who may have missed out on SMG2 the chance to play this brilliant game.

Managed to sign into the WWE app last night on my UK PSN account, still going to keep paying the US subscription fees as it's £3 cheaper this way. But at least the UK has the Network at last.

That's a good decision by Sony, and it's a good game to go with.
