This thread in general brings back so many memories of my child-hood. All those collections of stuff that was cool to own back in the day, now it is all "I-Phone this, and all that". It would take a flipping miracle to find everything i had when i was younger, as it is all in the attic of no return (basically it is a dump up there). I can remember some of it though. Ghostbusters Stuff (House, Car, Slimer (w/t Slime), Characters, Stay-Puft and a Proton Pak (which i wore one halloween) Original Power Ranger Zords (none of those modern ones) Fun-Fax(s) Pogs Tazo's (got a complete set of Star Wars ones somewhere) Thunderbirds (inc the Tracy Island made from the Blue Peter instructions, various Thunderbird craft inc Thunderbirds 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5). I've still got those Blue Peter instructions somewhere as well. There is bound to be more somewhere. I even collected a few of them Dinosaur magazines w/t 3D glasses. I've even got a stack of old Beano and Dandy annuals in my wardrobe, under all the clothes.

Had a shit day. Basically i had to go to Malpas Court House in Newport. From what the letter said, it was to have a chat about what vacancies i am interested in and to apply for them/get an interview with the person(s). That was what i was expecting. What actually happened was that i went to the Court House and got told i was over-dressed. When i got to the building, i arrived early. But i wasn't seen until 1/2 hour after the time i was given and it was with about 40 other people all from Newport (most of these were Chav's, and were dressed like them as well. Their best clothes are jeans and a hoodie). I was wearning a shirt, trousers and a tie. I was given an application form, told to fill it in and then i could go. I wasn't told what vacancies were available, or even had a chat with anyone. I filled in the form, handed it over and was told they may be in contact in a few weeks. Honestly, if this was going to happen from the start they may as well have sent the form out and saved me £8 travel costs. Sending it would work out cheaper as well. I'm not happy, and have been told to report to the J/C to tell them what the FJF thing was like.

Got a 1-1 draw today with Tin Can. Not a bad result, and my new Striker scored on his debut

I'm giving my new Striker a starting place against Tin Can tomorrow, see how he gets on. Other than that, i'm looking forward to the new season.

Went shopping today, with £150 budget from the J/C (i spend £150 of my money, and they re-emburse me when i produce a reciept). Bought a few things, namely shirts and trousers etc ready for an interview i have tomorrow at NCC.

Case anyone is wondering, there is some DLC coming for this. First patch could be with us end of the month. As far as i can tell, they will fill the gaps between Memory 11 and 14.

I was meant to be in Chepstow today at 1:40pm for a Future Jobs Fund meeting (had to go part of the J/C). Didn't go. I went to catch the 12:40pm bus, which didn't show up until 1:20pm. And then, it got 500 yards up the road before the door started playing up. Then it stopped at the next stop and wasn't able to go any further (darn bus only moves with the door shut!). It practically broke down, so i called the J/C saying i couldn't make it. So i had a different meeting in order to get some money to purchase some clothes for my interview on Tuesday. Apart from that, it's been a chilling day in-between everything else. Watched some Two and a Half Men, went on GTA online and listened to some tunes.

Indeed. Rare back in the days when they were under Ninty's wings were the best days of gaming. Now look at Rare, they are not under wings. More like these days under a 10 tonne block and have to do what MS say.
