Adam McGurk was a decent player on Football Manager 2008, I got him on loan and his goals got Barnsley promoted to the Prem. A useful bit of information there.

Nah, Morgan got away scot free (I don't actually think I know what scot free means really. It must have some kind of strange origin) Anyway, Owen for United is a fantastic move by Fergie in my opinion. I think he is going to be a serious challenger for the ---> In an opinion largely unrelated to Manchester United, Capello has to take him seriously again in regards to the England squad now that he is playing for the top English team.

I have no doubt that they will hand out a few thrashings to some of the poorer teams in La Liga but as soon as they come up against a team with quality and team-spirit, I think their team of talented individuals will struggle. I really hope so anyway otherwise everyone is screwed. I hope that in his first game back he gets clattered by someone, that'll be the only way for him to begin to get over what happened to him.

Real Madrid are fucking ridiculous, I really hope that they fall flat on their arses onto a spike and Barcelona win everything in Spain again. Anyway, here is something I'm particularly pleased to see: Iain Hume heading a ball again! I cannot wait for the season to start, lets hope he is better than ever. 5 weeks and counting!

Ooof! Anyone watching/listening to England U21 vs. Sweden U21? England were 3-0 up and cruising at half-time and Sweden have now got it back to 3-3 and its almost full-time. Bit of a good game really.

I agree with you, I've been surprised by how much I have enjoyed the matches I've seen in the Confederations Cup so far. I think it could have something to do with the fact that the summer football withdrawals are starting already though. A potential final between Spain and Brazil is pretty exciting to any football fan.

I think its great, but like many, I only really appreciate it properly when I play or watch something inferior. A couple of Blu-rays have blown my mind, the one that really springs to mind is Speed Racer, it really is an awful film but it looks absolutely amazing.

I made my own pizza earlier, including the base too. It had pepperoni, mushrooms, red peppers, olives, mozzerella discs and cheddar on. It was pretty good and I'm looking forward to doing it again. I forgot to take a picture. I'll give myself an 8/10 for it though. Edit: This isn't rate your own cooking. Ooops.

I love Futurama but the movies were generally awful. I don't have high hopes for the new series but I hope that I am proved wrong.

Well done, its the weekend of platinums. I think I'm going to get Uncharted again to the platinum, it seems like one of the most attainable ones as the game is actually fun to play.

Yup, took me a couple of days. The artifacts are the worst part but if you explore properly you'll get them in no time.
