Soccer AM was pretty good today. Fuck me. This ITV highlight coverage is more than I can take. Fair play to Forest Green for pushing Derby all the way but do we need 25 minutes of coverage on the match?! Robbie Earle and Llewellyn 'Alan' Curbishley, please do one. How long do we have to put up with the cup highlights on ITV? One positive: At least they don't have that bloody woman commentator.

My personal highlights of 2008 have been as follows: 1. Barnsley fantastic FA Cup run (another one will hopefully begin against West Ham next week!) 2. John Terry's penalty miss in the Champions League final 3. A thoroughly deserved Spanish win at Euro 2008.

My 2nd lot within about a week, bought a few more Rock Band songs and Braid.

Whats the problem?! I don't like the Wii, and I sold it. I played the games on the console that I wanted to. Because I don't want to play any of a limited list of games (sports, platformers and a couple of light-gun type games) that you mention, I suddenly have limited taste in gaming. And I get accused of flame baiting posting this in a non-Nintendo part of the forum. I despair! Well, Merry Christmas!

I really don't have a limited interested in gaming, it's just that I can only waggle my wrist a few times before I get bored. I thought I made Baby Party up, but there is a game called Babysitting Party on Wii, how fantastic!

Baby Party 43 does look quite good though. Not one of those games interest me, I've played Resi 4 at least 10 times on my Gamecube and I've completed Okami on my PS2 so I have no need to play those again.

3. Mirror's Edge By no means perfect, but I did really enjoy this game. Frustrated the hell out of me at times but I think we could be seeing the start of something special if the niggles are ironed out. I really hope that enough people bought this for another to be made. 2. Rock Band Only bought this recently, and I was a little bit sceptical about spending £100+ on a rhythm game as I had been burnt by the boring single player of Guitar Hero before. But the singing, drumming and obviously, guitar(ing?) add so much more life to the single player aspect of the game, but as anyone who has played it knows that the game really comes to life when playing multiplayer. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun playing a video game. 1. Selling my Wii After playing and completing Mario Galaxy, Zelda: TP and Metroid Prime 3, I felt it was time to part company with the little white console. The prospect of playing Wii Music and Baby Party 42 really didn't appeal. I enjoyed my time with my Wii in a bitter-sweet way but the future release list had nothing, I really mean nothing that I wanted to play. (Also, FIFA needs a mention, I doubt there will be a game that I've played more over the past year, or that I will play more over the year to come.) (More honourable mentions have to go to: GTAIV, Bioshock, GOW2 and Tomb Raider Underworld.)

Been at uni and my internet connection is complete bollocks. I've missed it more than I thought.

Just signed into Xbox Live for the first time in months and I'm impressed! I love the new dashboard, it seems to work so much better than the old cluttered one. Righto, I'm off to buy some Rockband songs!
