No law, no offense. Him doing something morally wrong is just your opinion. Its completely subjective.
-
It reinforces the idea that morality is relative and that the law is only one interpretation.

Its not like he was breaking into other people's computer networks. He just released the code (that someone else found if I remember correctly) that allowed people to run whatever software they wanted on a PS3. I doubt there are any countries that would classify what he did as a criminal offense.

Bioshock 1 and 2 are $5 each today. I seem to be having incredible difficulty trying to get Bioshock to run. (I'm running Windows 7 64 Bit). Anyway, the first time I ran it, it worked fine, but once I got passed the cut scenes there was no audio. The consensus online seemed to be to run it in xp compatibility mode. I tried this for both SP2 and SP3, and in both cases the game wouldn't launch at all. Sometimes I would keep getting the "Preparing to launch Bioshock" dialog box coming up, then dismissing, and coming up again in an infinite loop. Sometimes the same thing would happen with the "Are you sure you want to let an unknown application from an unknown publisher..." dialog. Eventually it just started working for some reason, however, now it crashes every time I try to change the resolution. Has anyone had a similar problem? Edit: Got it working by deleting: %appdata%/bioshock/bioshock.ini as well as changing the resolution in the default file in the same directory as the executable.

He hasn't done anything that someone CAN be sent to jail for. This was purely a civil matter, not criminal at all.

Mafia I and II, plus all the Mafia II DLC are on sale for 75% off on steam right now. 2K is apparently going to have a game on sale every day this week, so we're most likely going to see, Borderlands, Bioshock and the Civilization series on sale at some point.

Now that I think about it, there weren't any new block types, so its easier than the last update anyway.
-
Its not compatible with 1.4 though, so its going to be a pain to install.

I had the same problem with my tablet. Disconnecting the mouse solved it.

You need one of these if you want to rent the hardware: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_private_server I've tried running a server off of one of my computers, but I'm not sure it can handle more than a few people at once. Edit: For some reason mobs (both monsters and animals) have stopped spawning in my world no matter what difficulty the game is set to. I walked a little ways and saw a ton of mobs frozen in place, as I walked up to them, I myself became frozen in place, weird.

I'm not familiar with C#, but I am familiar with Java and a little bit of C/C++, and for what you're doing, there really isn't any difference. Anyway, if I understand what you're trying to do correctly, the problem is that you're not setting start to the next index value, but instead, just increasing it by 1. Try this: if (subTotal < 0) { subTotal = 0; start = i+1; }

I can start up my server if anyone's interested.

I've been using this for a few months now. I made it years ago though.

"See what happens when kids who are bullied have had enough"

So apparently Richard was given 40k to do an interview with an Australian television network or something like that. -

In one case a kid is being sent to jail for the rest of his life. In this case, the kid just got embarrassed. The bully probably learned his lesson here and will move on. The other case is a much more serious case and sending the kid to jail for the rest of his life isn't going to solve the problem, its going to shove it under the rug. -

You know what I mean. -

Actually, in many countries it is considered a crime. Here in Canada for instance, you're only allowed to fight back if you're completely trapped in a corner. Apparently having a 4th story window behind you also disqualifies that particular corner. Even in the states, a guy got convicted of assault because he used a railway spike to defend himself against 10 unarmed guys who were trying to kill him. -
To add to that, check that the product codes on the PSN store match that on the disk before buying DLC.

Civ City: Rome isn't bad and is fairly cheap.

I remember doing something like that in my freshman year of whatever you want to call years 9 to 12. Basically this kid who had been out to get me all year stole my binder, so I chased after him and tried to grab it back. He tried to punch me, but missed, so I punched him as hard as I could right between the eyes. I spent the morning arguing my way out of a suspension, but I didn't end up missing any school beyond that day. The next morning, a teacher I had the year before came up to me and congratulated me for "Teaching him a lesson". That was the last time I every had trouble with anyone in that sort of way, so it was well worth it. Anyway, congratulations to this kid. Hopefully this works out just as well for him. -
I decided to buy the full bundle considering how cheap it was. The total war series is something I've been meaning to play for a while, so this seems like a good opportunity.

For $2.50, I don't see that as a big deal.
-
Are Empire Total War and Rome Total war worth getting at the current steam sale price ($7.50 and $2.50 respectively)?

Nintendo Service Centre - Sending Wii for Repairs
Emasher replied to Mokong's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I think it took about a week and a half to get mine fixed. It might have been closer to 2 weeks though. -
There's an option to turn it off.
