  1. At least partially it seems, came across a few online retailers that wont have it in stock until the 29th. I'll add it to the released section anyway, cheers.
  2. Has anyone managed to complete the Strikers cup? I've pretty much given up now after numerous attempts but always losing in the final! Done all of the challenges now though, well apart from the Yoshi one. I don't think I'll ever be able to complete it, I hate not being able to run on the sides of the pitch because of the sand, makes finding enough space for shots almost impossible. Thank God for the online mode.
  3. True. Would have been cool if it was hold down C or Z and then use B to fire though.
  4. Just found a way to access it, try here: http://wii.nintendo.co.uk/12728.html
  5. What's the problem with it being FMV though, if they were recorded from the GameCube build anyway? I mean unless the compression is bad of course. By the way, is anyone else not able to access the RE4 page on Wii.com: http://wii.nintendo.co.uk/12721.html I've been trying since it was announced on NoE's site yesterday, but it never seems to load.
  6. Added Mortal Kombat: Armageddon to the list as Play.com now have it in stock, and all of the big online retailers have it listed for this friday.
  7. I had completely settled against getting this, then I made the mistake of playing the GameCube version yesterday... Damn, I've played through it so many times already but that opening section in the village it just reminded me of how good it is, I really need to play Separate Ways now! So yeah, I've caved-in. But as spot-on as aiming with the Wii Remote looks I'm still not sure how I'm going to get on with it, the cursor looks a bit annoying (I actually got annoyed with the one in Zelda too so ended up switching it off for most of the game) wish it was possible to change it back to the laser sight. Bloody good point, there's just no pleasing some people.
  8. The sideways Wii Remote is a surprise. I think it'll be Gamecube controls for me.
  9. You reminded me of this: My desktop, complete with boring grey Classic Windows style and also way too many icons on the desktop doesn't really warrant posting.
  10. I don't think two people just pointing out that their sigs weren't made by you can be classed as "anti-Freshness" somehow. Actually everything was taken from in-game screen shots. But what can I say, I don't have access to exclusive hi-res artwork from Nintendo. OK, Paj Meen Ah's sig. Hmm... Not too sure about that one, don't really like the style you've chosen. There seem to be some much nicer ones on that site I think: But anyway, it's functional and it reminds me that I've still got Pokémon D/P to look forward to so I'll give it a 7/10. : peace:
  11. I think that’s actually Kazumi Totaka + some major pitch shifting! Loving Wario’s facial expression in the new pic: Pure genius.
  12. Say hello to Mario Party 8! Sorry, I know it's old but I had to point it out :P. Yeah that's an absolute disgrace!I really don't understand why any game these days should ship without an option for 16:9, completely insane. Then again can't say I'm bothered by it with MP8 seeing as I won't be getting the game. Even so, this really shouldn't be an issue anymore.
  13. Not sure about how well it sold in the US, but I’m guessing it probably didn't do too well, what with all the competition at launch. I think there was around 7 months between the US and European versions on the DS. It looks like the Wii game will almost certainly extend beyond that time frame. I reckon it will be released though. Cheers.
  14. Confirmed by who though? I've just been searching for info on it but came up empty handed. Don't think Atlus have even got a European website, I couldn't find it anyway. And NoE still have the game down as TBD.
  15. Oh man!I reckon you of all people would love it. It's a classic (I downloaded it a while back despite having played it back in the day) seriously worth downloading. And yeah you can just save with the VC's resume feature.
  16. I find it worrying that no one has mentioned Mystical Ninja at all. Am I the only person that likes that franchise!? Anyway, I really hope Konami at least bring that game to the Wii.
  17. Yeah that's what I've been trying to do in the Strikers Cup too, although it has a tendency to backfire as your keepers AI seems to deteriorate on the higher difficulty levels so sometimes you end up scoring an own goal!
  18. I'm seriously struggling with the challenges, can't do the Yoshi one where you've got to come back from 5 - 0. Every time I get the ball Wario seems to develop light speed movement and starts doing that bloody "butt smash" move like there's no tomorrow! Then when I finally manage to do a mega strike (even a perfect orange one) Wario's keeper saves every god damn shot! Strikers cup is also proving to be very annoying, the developers have clearly tried to cover the games relatively short single player mode by just making it extremely difficult. Would be more annoying were it not for the online mode, which is obviously the main focus of this game.
  19. Finally won the Crystal Cup! Was bloody lucky though, lost the first game against Diddy Kong, fluked a victory in the second and was loosing for the duration of the third until right at the end when I managed to do a full strength Mega Strike (with the help of the Wall-Luigi  ) and win the match. Played the first game in the Strikers Cup... Oh dear. Remember the jump in difficulty between the Fire and Crystal cups? Well it's like that but on steroids! The CPU plays a pretty much perfect game, and so fast. Even getting to the ball is tricky as they track you and slam in to you constantly! Or maybe it's just Bowser’s team? Will have to play some more games to find out but yeah, it seems really tough.
  20. No game can have more annoying AI than Mario Slam Basketball. At least I hope not! Anyway, I'd say this is definitely worth buying. Especially if you're able to play it online.
  21. I'm not a fan of the windy stage (especially online) in one game all of my players got blown away and I was left with just the keeper for a while! Still, the flying cow makes up for it, helluva funny. The crystal stage can be annoying too, with its tendency to abduct players.
  22. I seriously love most of the music in this game, such a funky soundtrack! Shame there isn't that much of it though and most of it is just short loops. The classroom stage is one of my favorites, really like the chilled out samba on the pause menu too, Luigi's flamenco style theme song is awesome, and I think the invincibility star loop is probably the best rendition of it ever. The music that plays on the disc channel and on the replays is also superb, sounds kind of familiar to me though… Reckon the musicians were listening to Diana Ross? Speaking of the audio, anyone think they should have included commentary in this game? I didn't really pay that much attention to it at first (what with this not being your average footie game) but I reckon it probably would have been quite cool. Imagine the commentary to Wario's fart move. Same thing happened to me! Really jumps up in difficulty ey?
