  1. You’re welcome mate. : peace: Yep, I removed the [?] from it on the list. I also moved Mario Party 8 back to TBD though as it seems unlikely now that'll come out on the same day. Also changed Prince of Persia: Rival Swords to the 5th as every online retailer has it down for then, as does Ubisoft’s own page. Still seems weird though as games always come out on Friday. Oh well, I guess we'll know for sure in a couple of days.
  2. Yeah I'll second that recommendation, it's a fantastic game. The N64 version is also great (one of my favourite game soundtracks too) and will definitely be worth downloading if / when it hits the VC. Still got that for the N64, but I've not got the SNES game anymore so I'll probably download it once I finish Kid Icarus.
  3. Yeah I'm really hoping it's an April release too. I’ll be annoyed if NoE decided to hold it back until winter and we end up getting this and Super Mario Galaxy at roughly the same time. *EDIT* I've just been watching the vids over on the Japanese site: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/r8pj/scoop/index.html The 3rd one where Mario gets the invincibility star is amazing!
  4. Already a thread about this: http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13542
  5. Took me just over 20 hours to completely S-Rank it, so if you're the kind of person that likes to complete games 100% then yeah I can definitely recommend it. And even if you're not it's still great as a pick up and play game, don't forget the VS mode too.
  6. *scrubs eyes furiously* Now that is mental! Well, this'll probably be the first and last Olympics game I ever buy.
  7. Nice one ShadowV7, Cheers! Yep, that's the one. I've put all the released stuff in a Spoiler box so it doesn't get in the way of the new titles. But I know there's a limit to how much text you can have in a single post though, so I might have to change it later on down the line. I'll probably just edit Jordan's post and stick all the released stuff in there eventually. Anyway glad to here people are liking this thread, and I appreciate the suggestions / help. The more everyone contributes to it, the better it'll be! : peace:
  8. OK then, I'll look into adding that. : peace:
  9. That's too bad man, Kororinpa is definitely an excellent rental game. I'm still playing this occasionally though, (about 93% complete now I think) just got a few more stages to do on mirror mode, basically all the space stages. The final stage is amazing, took me like 15 minutes to finish it the first time and even now my best time is around 6 minutes! And that's with loads of falling off , has anyone managed to do that stage without falling once? Oh - and that's without using the Panda ball.
  10. Yep, same for me. I'm still annoyed at the lack of release dates for first party games. Apart from Eledees none of the 3rd party stuff appeals to me.
  11. Out of those 3 I'd go for Eledees.
  12. Result! That was my main complaint with the trial version, that and the fact it wasn’t full screen. But by the looks of those new pics and vids that has been sorted out too. :awesome:
  13. The deal is in GAME and it's 2000 Wii Points for £7.99 when bought with anything else in store. (well, I think it can be anything, not 100% sure though) Anyway, I got some the other day when I picked up Mario Slam Basketball. I downloaded Kid Icarus yesterday. Man that game is as cruel as ever! Still great fun too.
  14. Same here, still have it in fact: Was such a great feeling when you finally managed to complete it, after so much frustration!
  15. I'm seriously considering them for my next purchase now, I remember someone on here saying that they send stuff out early every time. Shame about Gameplay though, there's really no incentive to use them anymore as you can get games cheaper and on release day from loads of places. They should at least lower their prices now if they plan to carry on working this way.
  16. Cheers. That's a Thursday though, so I'll put it down as the 27th and add the old [?] too.
  17. Classic! Anyone that's not played it before should watch this vid: It'll either put you right off, or make you want it even more!
  18. So they've not sent it out then? Did anyone get this (or any new release for that matter) today from Gameplay? Or have they really changed for the worse.
  19. Now there's a contrast for ya! Reminds me of when I was playing through Eternal Darkness at the same time as Animal Crossing. Good times. Can't say I've ever really got into Harvest Moon, only played the SNES version a little bit though.
  20. That guy was seriously annoying! Mind you it got even worse in F-Zero Climax, "There's another racer on your tail!" and "You're about to lose the lead!" ARRGGGHHHH! I've not really played much single player Excite Truck since S-Ranking it a while back, just a few VS games here and there. It's definitely one for the collection though.
  21. Until they release a Mii Dating channel.
  22. Yeah, very cool box art. But every time I see that butterfly thing I'm somehow reminded of the Decepticon logo from Transformers!
  23. Hmm... If this is for real I'm thinking / hoping it'll be:
  24. Initially this seems to play very similar to SMB, but it's actually got much more depth to the gameplay than the first few stages suggest, and the game requires you to do a lot more motion with the Wii Remote. For example in SMB you tilt the control 45 degrees in any direction and the table will be at its maximum tilt, but in kororinpa you can basically keep going and the table will follow suite, so you have complete control of the table. A lot of stages see you having to tilt by 90 degrees and continue to play with the Wii Remote on its side, the later stages then apply that to the forward and backward motions too so you have the Wii Remote pointing at the floor, it can get pretty tricky! As for the camera well I've only noticed a few issues with it where sometimes your view gets obscured and it tries to make a very slight movement to let you see where you're going, but most of the time any object that gets in the way will just turn transparent, so it's all good. I had the joy of playing that stage last night, certainly won't be an easy one to get gold on that's for sure! Anyway, my file is at 51% right now. I've unlocked the...
  25. I got Kororinpa this morning, £10 after trading in Red Steel (which I'm very glad to see the back of). Had a feeling this game would be my cup of tea, and it wasn't wrong. I'm really enjoying it! Love everything about it so far, the controls are spot on, the graphics (although pretty basic) are very nice and it has a great style to it, the various balls are hilarious (the cat one had me in stitches every time it hits the floor too hard and does a really high pitch meow!) And the music is awesome, I'm up to the city stages and the Latin style tracks on those are amazing, the retro ones are cool too. The 16:9 / massive borders thing was weird though, it's as if Hudson didn't know the correct aspect ratio for widescreen or something. Anyway as pointed out before, setting it to 4:3 sorts that one out. Looking forward to trying out the VS mode later on. I gather it's a very short game, but is anyone that got it in February still playing? Looks like it has potential replay value in going for high scores / best times.
