  1. You know, I only "got fabulous" last time because the game was free, right? Although I did enjoy it. Chances of me actually buying the sequel are somewhere between slim and none. Depends just how sexy that amiibo support is. Will be keeping an ear on the soundtrack though, first game's was rad:
  2. No worries. But yeah, looks very odd. The camera is waaaaaay too zoomed out.I imagine multiplayer Switch Force could be pretty fun though, not to mention hectic.
  3. That is so messed up. Anyway, it's currently running on my 3DS (in Sleep Mode ). It gives you 2 tracks to play through (on 3 difficulty settings) and the option to choose between touch or button controls. No option to lower the volume of, or mute chimes though, which is annoying. Liking this track on the demo:
  4. I started playing it a while back, but it didn't take long for me to hit a brick wall in the form of a particularly annoying stealth section. You know me and stealth gameplay, they just don't mix. Shame though, because it is indeed a lovely game. Perhaps I'll give it another try sometime when I'm feeling a bit more patient. Anyway, time for an update to my diary... Recently I played through Max Payne 3. Picked it up in the bargain big for a couple of quid, having had my eye on it for quite some time now. Despite not being very good at the game and getting killed at lot, I found it pretty enjoyable. Worst thing about it is definitely the frame rate, this is a perfect example of a game pushing the hardware too far. Visually stunning though for PS3, could pass for a current gen game at times. Game made me laugh quite a bit too being set in Brazil, as although my Portuguese isn't great I was still able to understand the majority of what was being said by the NPCs/enemies, which was usually a ridiculous amount of swearing. Not quite as bad as the coprolalia of Resident Evil 4, but not far off either. The TV shows were also highly entertaining: And last night I finished the campaign on Sound Shapes, another lovely little game courtesy of PS+. Nice blend of platforming and rhythm based gameplay, very simplistic but there's also enough depth to keep things interesting, and actually quite challenging at times too. Death Mode in particular seems like it can be incredibly tough! Attempted the first few yesterday, but I can tell it's going to get frustratingly difficult, there's a little bit too much randomness/luck involved in some of these challenges I reckon. Will definitely keep going back for more punishment though, and of course to mess with the level editor, which I haven't really played with properly yet as I wanted to unlock all of the objects beforehand. As far as mobile goes I've been playing two awesome iOS games, Silly Sausage in Meat Land and Punch Quest. Silly Sausage is quite possibly the best free mobile game I've ever played, it offers a surprising amount of content and challenge, and is one of the few F2P games I've played that actually has an end! And Punch Quest is a super addictive endless runner/beat 'em up in which you need to travel as far as possible while punching the crap out of everything in your path. Simple stuff, but very entertaining.
  5. Hey man, long time no see. Yeah, I was super impressed with the attention to detail in 3D Out Run. Will definitely be checking out more 3D Classics at some point. As for finding arcade mode easier, I just found the game easier in general this time around, even without the upgrades.
  6. I actually got an S Rank the other day! Admittedly it was on a completely non-stealth mission, but still happy with that.
  7. @Ronnie, just so you know, Batman has some pretty intense/scary moments scattered throughout the game. Not so much horror, but stuff that will definitely make you jump. Great game though, and already starting to drop in price.
  8. Is this exactly the same as the iOS version? Sure looks like it. Pretty outrageous to charge for it if so.
  9. Those Mario Paint vibes... And baby face's HD debut. I am hyped to the absolute max.
  10. Amazing. I'm learning the Pikachu dance as soon as possible.
  11. Until 6pm I think.
  12. So I started playing this again yesterday in a bid to improve my "skills" in time for The Phantom Pain. Still got a lot of work to do... Whenever I play any Metal Gear game I seem to turn into Dara ÓBriain:
  13. You'll definitely want to be invading mine, that's for sure. There will no doubt be minimal resistance. That's exactly why I like it.
  14. Well, I just made it to the penultimate rank for team North Pole, gonna leave it there though as it's still taking ages for me to find games, and connection errors keep happening way too often.
  15. Not a fan of any of those myself (way too soppy ) apart from Snake Eater which is amazing. Anyway, did you watch that vid gaggle64 posted on the previous page, H-o-T? I imagine you're dangerously hyped for this game regardless.
  16. I've given up for now. Will try again later/tomorrow. Gonna take ages to level up at this rate though. At least continually getting kicked to the plaza allowed me to discover this: You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. 17. Struggling to find games on the Splatfest yet again. Either Team South Pole has very low numbers or something is up with matchmaking. Looks like private/friend battles are now possible during a Splatfest though, which is cool.
  18. Yeah, got a very similar vibe to Shenmue, the clunky controls, the QT events, the cheese etc... In a world where gaming is getting more serious, refined and politically correct, Yakuza is like an old-school breath of fresh air. Incredibly silly and gamey fresh air, which I can't get enough of.
  19. The original, Twin Snakes, Snake Eater 3D, and most recently Ground Zeroes. Yeah I heard about this before playing Ground Zeroes, but it turns out I'm still not very good. There's just something about the gameplay which doesn't seem to click for me. Love what I saw in that vid though, so reckon I'm gonna pick this up anyway.
  20. Wow... I knew nothing about any of the stuff in that vid, mind-blowing! Had no intention of getting this game, but seriously tempted after seeing that. Just wish I didn't suck at Metal Gear.
  21. Awesome, cheers for that. Love how there are so many coins scattered about afterwards.
  22. I only got into the Yakuza series recently (thanks to PS+) but it's quickly become one of my favourite franchises. :awesome: Absolutely loved Yakuza 4/Dead Souls, and cannot wait to get my hands on Yakuza 5! Is everyone else that posted in here (although it's been quite a while ) still hyped?
  23. Man, that final corner on Excitebike Arena! Best Spiny Shell attack ever. :awesome: Was good fun tonight, for being a small group. : peace:
  24. I can make it now. Still just the one group?
  25. The patch fixed the problem of the fan going nuts on the title screen, yeah. Still quite noisy during gameplay, but that's understandable.
