  1. OK, I can jump on for a few hunts now, or at around 8.
  2. I booted up the game for the first time in ages last night, and my town was exactly how I'd left it. Can't remember doing so, but must have switched to the beauty ordinance right before I stopped playing the game on a daily basis. Anyway, would be cool if the update goes live straight after today's direct, but I'm guessing we'll have to wait until the new version of the game arrives at the end of this month.
  3. Oh yeah! I forgot about that feature of the update, but it all makes perfect sense now...
  4. This seems to be the only place that has it, and judging by the price I think they know it too: https://www.gamestop.co.uk/Nintendo%203DS/Games/60349/sega-3d-classic-collection Very strange.
  5. Yeah, I kind of feel bad for the new players, I mean talk about getting thrown in at the deep end! Have you tried using the new megaphone item? It's funny but also pretty useful. In one of the towns I visited, nobody was building homes for the Matryoshka people, so I sent out a message that we needed more residences, and within a few moments there was a queue at the workbench and several houses had been constructed! Of course it could just have been a coincidence, but I like to think that my motivational message helped matters. Still a great tool for sending messages to everyone else in town though, especially as it also enables communication with players of different languages.
  6. Well I ended up getting a couple of the 3DS themes, so didn't lose any points. Have got over 1000 expiring at the end of this month too though, so hopefully they put something decent on there before then.
  7. I think we may have a contender for best Animal Crossing animal ever here: Love it. Really looking forward to tomorrow's direct now.
  8. Just a heads-up that points will be expiring today. I ended up finally getting Zelda Picross, as had over 1000 set to expire. No idea what the rest will go on, probably Miitomo drop tickets. You'd think they'd put some more new stuff up right at the end of each month for when points expire. Man, I hope My Nintendo rewards get a serious kick up the arse when Switch comes out.
  9. So, anyone else check out the game now that it's gone F2P? I have to say, that while it is running better than ever (perfectly in fact, as I've not had a disconnection or even seen an error message since the latest patch) it is also ridiculously hard to restore towns at the moment! The devs have increased the difficulty for Halloween, but I think they've taken it a bit too far. Izverg attacks are super frequent and collecting enough food is pretty much impossible now too! I imagine newcomers could be quite put-off by how brutal things currently are. Hopefully they tone it down a bit soon. The new islands are amazing though. So much fun to explore.
  10. Hehehe! This simply has to happen. Nice to see you posting again BTW. : peace:
  11. Yeah... No way I get this for 3DS, IF it even comes out in Europe. Switch version though, and there's a good chance I'll bite, purely for big screen/comfy controller MH again. LOL @ the Japanese title though. It perfectly sums up how most people who bought MHGenerations will be feeling after this reveal... Double-crossed.
  12. 2 more entries for me, OlliOlli and Paper Mario: Color Splash. Thoughts on Color Splash are in the main thread, as for OlliOlli, this is a game that I'd been picking at for a while now (since grabbing it from an eShop sale for the insane price of 80p! ) The game is a masterpiece. It's so simple, yet incredibly deep once you really get into it. The gameplay is just absolutely perfect, and it's so much fun trying out different trick sets and going for perfect runs on all of the different levels. I actually played this series in reverse, as I started out with OlliOlli 2 on PS+ last year. So going to the first game after that was a bit weird initially because certain gameplay mechanics are missing (like the ability to do manuals for combo extension etc.) and I was also playing it mostly on the 3DS, where the reduced screen size does detract from the experience slightly. But even so, the game is just as fun as its sequel. Not sure if Roll7 are planning OlliOlli 3 or not, but if so, I am there!
  13. So the credits finally rolled on this over the weekend. Hehehe! Yep, I did indeed LOVE that. The last few hours of the game didn't really change my overall opinion of it though, Color Splash is definitely a mixed bag. There are some really fun, surprising and downright hilarious moments in there, but unfortunately they're also surrounded by some very frustrating gameplay and incredibly tedious sections too. I think if the series is to be truly successful away from its RPG roots, then they really need to work on how the game plays as more of an action based title, especially when it comes to battles! Everything else is absolutely spot-on, the writing, humour, visuals, music etc., it just needs to flow better and be more fun to play.
  14. Sorry I missed out on the hunting, was under the weather last week. Will hopefully be able to join you guys next time.
  15. Some high price predictions going on here! I better start saving those coins...
  16. The game has also received a big update too. http://www.jp.playstation.com/op/thetomorrowchildren/playersinfo/2016/10/update009.html Lots of new stuff in pretty much every department, and some Halloween goodies. Hopefully the gold trophy glitch has been fixed as well, will find out soon I guess. It's going to be really interesting to see how F2P impacts the game. A lot of people are worried that there will be way too much anarchy now, but while it's inevitable that trolling will increase, I'm more concerned whether or not the servers will be able to handle an influx of new players. Anyway, hope to see some more N-E peeps in the void soon. : peace: *EDIT* Yay! Trophy glitch was indeed fixed: Game is running amazingly well too, perhaps even better than before!
  17. Hahaha! If we do Halloween name changes I'm definitely using that. :hehe:

  18. Zombie RedShell thanks you... :)

  19. Pretty much, yeah. Would love for Mario Sports Superstars and the new Pikmin to make it before then, think it's going to be quite difficult going back to the 3DS after using the Switch.
  20. Just the 1 Big Paint Star left for me to get now. While I'm still digging the game, some parts have really tested my patience. Like certain stages (with very annoying traversal methods or enemy patterns) that need to be replayed for additional paint stars, and more than a handful of insta-death moments that are super cheap. The fun stuff has definitely outweighed the bad, but it's still a shame as the game could've been a classic, had they just polished up a few sections of the gameplay.
  21. Verrrrrry interesting... If it turns out to be a Wii U port of Monster Hunter Generations I am going to roll my eyeballs right out of their sockets.
  22. So I finally decided to update the first post again (it has indeed been a while ) now that we have a bit more to look forward to, including the Nintendo Switch! Just ignore the 2015 in the thread title for now... :p As always there's probably mistakes or stuff missing, in which case please let me know, and I'll add it to the list. Happy waiting. : peace:
  23. Possibly. I really do want to crack on with Paper Mario though, so I don't end up doing a dazzybee. The original thing "doing a dazzybee" means, yeah... not that other one.
