  1. Well, that might be a valid explanation. Didn't know that he was actually in the comics! Still don't like it, though, but at least it makes more sense.
  2. I didn't have a problem with the writing, it was amusing to some extent. My problem with the game was that it was boring to play, only the battles were kind of fun. The overworld was simply too empty.
  3. My gripe with Cisco remembering is that if Cisco can, so can everybody else. And it just doesn't make sense (unlike everything else in the show...). Well, it goes to show that time-traveling is a dangerous topic. The only piece of entertainment I've seen / read that handles it well is Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
  4. Iris was terrible this episode. Seriously, someone hit her! Actually, the dinner-part was mostly terrible, the villain was boring, and Cisco's dreaming was absurd. Also, life-saver-hacks! Good progress on the story, though, and nice to see Iron-mATOM in action.
  5. The European names are a bit different for some of them: Koopa City (not Neo Bowser City, why? Isn't it called that in the 3DS version?) Wild Woods (not Nature Road) Super Bell Subway (Not Rin Rin Metro)
  6. I just hope that http://www.blastr.com/2015-4-3/george-rr-martin-reveals-his-next-hbo-project-sci-fi-driven-tv-series doesn't get in the way of his finishing ASoIaF sooner! I haven't watched the new season yet as I want to watch season 4 again but my girl friend's so busy with her studies that she doesn't have time or the energy for watching such a heavy show at the moment. She says she doesn't care about watching season 4 again, though, but I don't want her asking all kind of silly questions or not understanding something in the new season because we've forgotten it all. Also, I've read the books so I'm not in a hurry to start watching season 5.
  7. The guy in red is spot on most of the time there. If you're in doubt about getting the game, listen to him!
  8. Yeah, spent a while on that level as well. It was way more tense than the final level. Managed to do it eventually, though. Just see if you can memorize the order so you are ready to run the right way when you start. "Just" I mean.
  9. I also quite enjoyed the first episode but I found the sound effects a bit iffy. The punches where way too loud and sounded very fake. Other than that, though, the fighting scenes were very enjoyable and the plot seems quite interesting. Definitely going to watch the rest.
  10. A friend of mine suggests that something happening in Agents of Shield Will be mentioned in this. I haven't seen AoS since the seventh episode in season 1 but do you figure I'll miss out on something when watching this?
  11. Well, sort of. There are many disconnected levels that together in some sense form a giant cave but you don't gain anything by going back. There are no secrets or things to collect. You gain your abilities by reaching certain levels.
  12. I've just finished it today for a review. It's really good but Metroidvania, no. It's a puzzle game through and through, albeit a different one. The puzzles are based on altering your ship so it makes less sound, or outputs less heat and such. It's quite well-implemented. Multriplayer is really good as well, although the third player controlling only the scanner and flares might be a bit bored by that alone. Even though the price is higher than normal eShop-games, consider it if you like clever puzzles and physics-based games!
  13. Yeah, I don't think so either. I'm just saying that it'd be too expensive if they did that. At least if that was the only way of obtaining him. But how would that work then - would you have to scan the amiibo every time you would like to play as Mewtwo? Otherwise you could just borrow one from someone and scan him to get him permanently. Nah, I don't think it'll happen.
  14. I don't know how much they cost - I just know that £15 for one character is a bit too steap in my eyes (this is the price in Denmark for amiibo).
  15. That would be an extremely expensive DLC for just one character!
  16. That looks a lot more fun than Dig was!
  17. I had too few minutes left on the clock, it seemed that I couldn't hit the bastard, and I didn't know I could grab him when he was down. It was not intuitive at all. But with 2 min left on the clock (real life) I got him down. Absolutely the worst boss in the game. Actually, the bosses have been rather weak in this game. The only interesting one was the Snow Temple-boss, the rest were hampered by bad controls, unintuitive, or were too easy (Woodfall Temple).
  18. Go to options before starting the game. You can fix it there.
  19. He was a pain. But wait until you see the Stone Tower Temple boss. He was frustrating! Just defeated him yesterday. 21 masks, 14 pieces of hearts. I'll see if I can find the last couple of masks before defeating Skull Kid and then I'll call it a game. Really enjoyed playing it again!
  20. I thanked you for the joke. I thought it was funny. I'm returning to my previous self from before my groin injury. It's good to be back. Still not in as good a shape as then but that'll come soon enough. Doing a good mix of cardio and strength, I've added quite som kilos to my squats (both front and back, now for overhead!) and the deadlift is getting back in shape; I can't lift 8x110 kg at the moment but I feel it's mainly my grip that fails; before I used mixed grip but I'm training for double overhand now instead as I think it's better for the body that way. Strict overhead press still isn't very good but I'm also training my push and split jerks and they are getting better. Managed to push jerk 60 kg twice a week ago. I've also got back to biking to and from work (2x8 km) since I got my new bike. It feels good!
  21. Registrered some of my older games and got 2750 points - unfortunately all of my previously registrered points were gone since they were too old - and I think I'm gonna spend them on Link's Awakening. Never had the chance to play that and well, I can't get any physical items from Club Nintendo as I don't live in the UK so this might be for the better. Need to find out what to get for the last 1150 points, though. Thinking about getting Super Mario Land as I've also never played that. Ah, to hell with it, went for LA and then with 1150 to spare for now. Just gonna finish up Majora's Mask and then continue to wake up Link.
  22. Well, that was interesting!
  23. I'll watch it, sure, but it really looks bad. Then again, I've never liked Adam Sandler, just as I've never liked Jennifer Aniston. There's just something about them as actors that makes me dislike them.
  24. I had a couple of fights with my Link-amiibo yesterday (started at lvl 40 and ended at lvl 46) and he's got pretty good! He won more often than not and plays completely different from a computer. It's quite entertaining to watch.
  25. Also got it yesterday and played the first "level" (up to first boss). Liked it quite well but I think the female characters in the game might show a bit too much flesh - or is that just me?
