Season 5 has been better than season 4. Not as good as the first two seasons but better. All that stupid magic stuff is gone which is a relief, and while focus has been too much on training the recruits, the street action has been alright. Still feel that Green Arrow is not as good as he was in season 1 or 2 where he could take down an entire group alone but he's got better again. The Flash, though, has had a bad start with a confusing story line and boring foes. (But why didn't you just use the existing Arrow-thread we have?)

I would like to say that I'm just a realist - I tend to go for the most likely outcome of an action rather than focusing on the negative or positive outcome. However, if someone is told to answer for me, they would probably say that I'm pessimistic to some extend as that's what reality most likely is.

New information, final evolutions of starters, battle famous trainers! See trial Pokémon as well.

Save data will be on the cartridges for the games so at least that's not a problem. I think having the game on a ssd in the dock with it being (automatically) transferred over to the handheld expandable memory (kind of like installing a game on the other systems) would make sense and be a solution. It's a bit hard if you play a lot of different games at a time, though.

https://www.ft.com/content/f8301546-c042-320c-a4d3-fa42b6eb478b This is a bit strange since the Internet i generally positive towards Switch. And as Shorty I've also been worrying about memory. They can't only offer 32 GB flash internally, while SD cards are not a good solution. Games are going to fill those up quickly.

Another thing: Rumours prior to today indicated that we had guessed correctly with the hybrid theory but that something completely different was still missing. I see no indication of anything other than the hybrid in this video but has anyone else noticed something?

I like the tone and style as well. Gonna be interesting!

Dunno if posted but it seems to be a new Mario Kart-game Two items can be held at a time.

We've edited the trailer to get the motion: Looks more like SM64 with 3DWorld-ish graphics than 3D World 2 to me but we'll see.

I'm a fan. Simply put, I love it if it can keep the promises it's made. I'm worried about battery life and about pricing.
-
Yes. Me too. My wife has scolded me for it several times, stuff like "you don't prioritise me" etc. if I go to a workout for an hour a day. Like an hour matters.... But I've got better at it, not really hitting myself as hard if I don't go as often. I still really try to go every other day now and hate it when something else is responsible for me missing a workout. I can get quite short tempered if I have been forced to miss a workout that I really (felt I) needed.

Totally unfair to announce it in the middle of the night! But good news that it's finally coming, and don't underestimate how much you can say with a video and talk for 3 minutes. We should probably just not expect hardware details (power, etc.) and games but aside from that we should have a pretty good idea of what the system is about. Also, "home gaming system" could refer to a system in particular. Components that work together and such.

On 3DS, you have a large portion of the relevant areas present on the map on the top screen - or you can choose to just mirror the bottom screen to have 3D on. I have the map and it's super fast to find the route you then need to take.
-
I'm about 3/4 through this now. Really a good game and it plays really well on the 3DS. Here you have the map available at all times which really helps when finding your way. I think I've put 6 hours into this and am halfway through the citadel and am now backtracking to find some missed upgrades. It plays well and have a good difficulty, it never feels like the game is to blame if you fail a fight. The 3D is too much, though.

I also want to play 1st and 2nd party games but don't want to fork out for a new piece of hardware. In my above comment I didn't distinguish between 1st or 3rd party games. The logic is the same.
-
With that logic there would never be any exclusives on any console. I hate exclusives as much as the next guy because I want to play the games I find interesting without having to look at what hardware they are on. But from a competition point of view that would make zero sense, unfortunately.

Did a 75 kg split jerk today. Actually quite pleased with that as it's more than I've ever done and it's even above body weight by 10 per cent.

It's just useless as long as it's only on the Arcade. Bring them to Wii U and I think people would mind!
-
Isn't that just because some cosplayers are actually really good?
-
Ouch that wasn't much time but I understand why they try to limit it.

Perhaps a silly question to ask but I'll try anyway: When can we expect review copies of these game to start landing at sites? Not that I expect any leaks on this account, I'm just curious as I hope to receive a review copy but I want enough time to go through the game.

Ninten- Yeah, no...

I just recently discovered Black Mirror and watched the first season (three episodes). I thought it was brilliant! It had so much to say, like very long short movies, and really worth my time, I feel. I can't decide which episode I liked the best, though, they all had a very distinct idea and angle that was quite well-executed. Can't recommend it enough!

Ah, don't misunderstand, the game is still quite fun to play with some ingenious puzzles, nice references and dialogue for the most part and lovely audio-visuals. And later in the game you can whack weaker enemies with the hammer to avoid battling them (but there are fewer weaker enemies as you progress but still a means to avoid them).

Nopes.
